Aizen looked at everyone calmly, and suddenly, as if remembering something, a smile appeared on his lips as he chuckled softly.
"Fate is truly unpredictable. Even I didn't expect that, on a whim, I would meet you all here."
Hearing his words, Jiraiya's expression grew slightly heavy, and in a low voice, he asked: "During the Iwa shinobi incident earlier, why did you choose to spare us?"
Aizen glanced at him and smiled lightly. "I believe I already mentioned this, didn't I? Back then, you didn't even pique my interest. You were too weak..."
As soon as Aizen finished speaking, a cold breeze blew through the area, causing the atmosphere to tense up.
Jiraiya and his group immediately became more vigilant, with Minato and Kushina also looking at Aizen across the street, their faces serious.
Jiraiya stared at Aizen intently and asked in a stern voice:
"So, are you here today to make a move against Konoha, or are you just here to meet some so-called old friends?"
Aizen lightly shook his head, a gleam flashing in his eyes as he smiled.
"It seems none of you have noticed yet. I find it hard to imagine how Konoha will defend against this invasion."
Everyone was startled by Aizen's words, confused by what he meant.
"What do you mean by that, Aizen?" Jiraiya asked, his expression darkening.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
Before Aizen could respond, the sound of several loud explosions suddenly echoed from a distance.
Hearing the commotion, everyone's expressions changed, and they looked toward the direction of the blasts.
Even though it was nighttime and the distance was far, the red glow of the flames was clearly visible. It was obvious that someone was launching an attack on Konoha under the cover of darkness.
Aizen's eyes flickered with a subtle smile as he said softly:
"It seems it has begun."
Jiraiya glared at Aizen angrily and demanded:
"Aizen, what have you done? Do you really want to see Konoha destroyed?"
In response, Aizen merely smiled slightly, locking eyes with Jiraiya as he said quietly:
"Jiraiya, it seems you still don't understand what kind of foundation the ninja era is truly built upon. Always talking about Konoha, have you ever stepped outside the shinobi world to truly see the world? Or is the peace you seek only meant for ninjas?"
Aizen seemed to lose interest, shaking his head slightly before saying to everyone:
"Enough, just watch quietly. Konoha is only the beginning. My promise has come time to be fulfilled."
With that, he slowly turned, appearing uninterested in staying any longer.
Seeing Aizen's movement, Jiraiya's expression darkened, and he shouted angrily:
"Must you remain so stubborn?!"
As he yelled, Jiraiya suddenly dashed toward Aizen.
"Stop, Jiraiya!"
"Be careful, Jiraiya-sensei!"
Tsunade and Minato urgently tried to stop him, but Jiraiya had already vanished from his original spot, rushing forward.
Jiraiya's face was filled with uncontrollable anger. He had always regarded Aizen as a brother, and now he was furious at the repeated harm Aizen had caused Konoha.
With his emotions running high, Jiraiya charged at Aizen with all his might.
However, Aizen seemed completely unconcerned, not even turning his head as he continued walking away.
Just then, a low voice echoed from a dark corner:
"Mokuton: All-Encompassing Hand Technique!"
As the voice sounded, massive wooden hands erupted from the ground behind Aizen, intertwining to form a cage that directly aimed to capture Jiraiya, who was rushing toward Aizen.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Seeing the giant wooden hands rise around him, Jiraiya's pupils shrank, and he abruptly stopped, quickly forming hand seals.
"Wild Lion's Mane Technique!"
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Jiraiya's white hair suddenly extended, forming thick strands that shot toward the massive wooden hands surrounding him.
Ssssh!
Though the white hair was quickly severed by the wooden hands, it bought Jiraiya a brief moment. He leapt backward, flipping through the air before landing safely on the ground.
Aizen glanced over his shoulder at Jiraiya, a smile playing on his lips as he said lightly:
"You couldn't even touch me. How do you plan to stop me, Jiraiya?"
Jiraiya, however, was focused on something else. His expression was serious as he asked:
"That's… Mokuton! How could you possibly have mastered Mokuton?!"
At that moment, standing behind Jiraiya with Minato and the others, Tsunade covered her mouth, her eyes wide with disbelief as she stared at the young figure in the shadows.
"Na… Nawaki, is that… you?" Tsunade's voice trembled as she asked.
Hearing her question, Jiraiya also froze, his gaze fixed on the shadowed figure.
Aizen smiled slightly, glancing at the figure before saying softly:
"Although this isn't the best timing, since you've been found out, come out and say hello, Nawaki. After all, everyone here is someone you know."
The crowd's bodies trembled, especially Tsunade, who was almost frozen in disbelief.
From the shadows, Nawaki's figure slowly emerged.
Under the moonlight, his brown hair was slicked back, and his youthful face bore a resolute expression.
Suppressing the emotions in his heart, he took a deep breath, his gaze calm as he looked at Tsunade and Jiraiya, speaking quietly:
"Sister, Jiraiya-niisan, it's been a long time."
Seeing the young man standing before her, who looked almost identical to the First Hokage, Tsunade trembled violently, her hands covering her mouth. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she choked out:
"Nawaki… you're alive!"
Beside her, Jiraiya was also stunned, mumbling in shock:
"It's really… Nawaki!"
Behind them, Minato and Kushina were equally shocked, their eyes widening as they looked at the young man.
'Is this really the grandson of the First Hokage, Tsunade's younger brother, Senju Nawaki?'
Nawaki stood silently, his expression complicated as he gazed at the tearful Tsunade. But then, as if remembering something, a determined look returned to his eyes.
"Nawaki, you…" Tsunade choked, but before she could finish, Aizen interrupted her.
"Tsunade, this is the gift I promised you. I bet you didn't expect this."
Aizen smiled lightly as he spoke.
Hearing his words, Tsunade glared at Aizen, her tear-filled eyes flashing with uncontrollable anger as she shouted:
"It was you! You were behind all of this, weren't you?! Why, Aizen, why did you do this?!"
Everyone could feel the intense anger in Tsunade's voice.
After being deceived for so many years, the sudden revelation left her feeling deeply manipulated.
Seeing her anger, Nawaki hesitated, as if wanting to say something, but Aizen raised a hand to stop him.
A complicated emotion flashed in Aizen's eyes, but he smiled at Tsunade and said softly:
"That's a great expression. Hold onto that anger, Tsunade.... As for Nawaki, I'm taking him with me. If you want him, become stronger and take him back from me."
With that, Aizen turned and walked away without hesitation.
Nawaki, along with Saki, followed closely behind, and the three disappeared into the darkness.
"Nawaki!" Tsunade screamed in agony.
Nawaki only turned to glance at her once before looking away and continuing to follow Aizen.
The three figures slowly vanished.
