"She's so strong!" Both Genma Shiranui and Asuma Sarutobi thought simultaneously as they watched the battle unfold. It had only been a few years since their graduation from the Ninja Academy, but Kurenai Yuhi's progress in strength had far exceeded their expectations. They had assumed that Obito Uchiha's abilities weren't as strong as Kurenai's, but after all, Obito had participated in the Chunin Exams.

Even if his skills didn't match a Chunin's, he should still be able to put up a fight, especially with Rin Nohara by his side. However, the time it took Kurenai to take Rin down and return to the battlefield left Asuma stunned. When he estimated the duration, he realized that while it was possible for him to have dealt with Obito in such a short time, the presence of Rin made it much more difficult. Moreover, Obito had arrived early, setting up several traps, yet none of them were triggered before he was taken out.

'It seems Kurenai has really become much stronger… I can't fall behind!' Asuma clenched his fist in silent determination. He thought that Kurenai had ignored him earlier because, in his mind, his strength and fame still didn't compare to the best of his peers. If he were Konoha's most famous genius, then maybe Kurenai would have treated him differently. He noticed that Kiyo Hyuga's attention was entirely focused on Kakashi, further confirming his thoughts. Asuma vowed to train harder and become Konoha's most renowned genius as soon as possible.

Just as Asuma made this silent pledge, the duel between Kiyo Hyuga and Kakashi Hatake was about to begin. Hyuga Mirai and Kurenai had created the perfect opportunity for Kiyo to unleash her full potential.

"Please, go easy on me," Kiyo said politely, bowing according to her family's formal etiquette before assuming the Gentle Fist stance. Her face was tense, veins visible under her skin, and her pale Byakugan eyes were locked onto Kakashi.

Kakashi took a deep breath and tightened his grip on his sword. He was planning on taking out Hyuga Mirai's team one by one. Since Kiyo was stepping forward first, he would deal with her first, then look for a chance to deal with the other two.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Kakashi was the first to act, throwing shuriken while immediately tossing a smoke bomb at his feet.

"Smoke bomb? Doesn't Kakashi know that the Byakugan can see through smoke?" Kurenai asked in confusion.

"No, it's still somewhat useful," Mirai explained, observing the scene carefully with his Byakugan. "Kakashi's movements are completely visible to me, but Kiyo might not see everything as clearly. Kakashi has subtly altered the trajectory of his shuriken, forcing Kiyo to divert some of her focus. This gives Kakashi a chance to use a Shadow Clone Jutsu in the smoke and confuse Kiyo, making it harder for her to distinguish between the real Kakashi and his clone."

While the smoke might not fool the Byakugan, it created a perfect opportunity for Kakashi to execute several strategies. After Kiyo deflected the shuriken, two shadow clones of Kakashi rushed out of the smoke, one from the left and one from the right, both armed with short swords, closing in on her.

Even without the training from Konoha's White Fang, Kakashi's swordsmanship was still formidable. Thanks to his family legacy and personal talent, his skill with a blade was difficult to surpass. However, Kiyo was best known for her Taijutsu. Even with two Kakashi clones attacking from different directions, her Byakugan allowed her to keep track of every angle, returning every strike. In comparison, Kakashi's shadow clones had less room for error—any significant damage would cause them to vanish.

The battle was fast-paced, and the three figures clashed rapidly. Kakashi's clones worked together, briefly pushing Kiyo back a few steps with their coordinated strikes. Clang! Clang! Kiyo waited for the right moment, wrapping her chakra around her hands to deflect both blades aimed at her. She then leaped backward, jumping about five or six meters into the air.

"Eight Trigrams: Empty Palm!" *Boom!* A shockwave erupted from Kiyo's palm, striking one of Kakashi's clones directly. The clone instantly dissipated into smoke.

Without missing a beat, Kiyo continued her assault, using her incredible speed to close the distance to the remaining Kakashi clone.

The rapid pinpoint strikes from Kiyo Hyuga landed swiftly, and in an instant, she used her most proficient Gentle Fist techniques. Within her Bagua (Eight Trigrams) field, her strikes were even faster than Kakashi's attempts to block with his short blades.

This Kakashi was merely a shadow clone, and after withstanding Kiyo's precise strikes for several hits, it dissolved into smoke.

"Earth Style: Earth Pillar Spear!" Another Kakashi appeared behind Kiyo, performing an Earth Release technique. Sharp stone pillars shot up from the ground, aimed directly at her.

"Rotation!" With the stone spikes rising from all sides, Kiyo didn't risk jumping away, fearing that Kakashi might have other tricks up his sleeve. Instead, she chose to use the Hyuga clan's ultimate defensive technique. In an instant, a massive surge of chakra erupted around her, and she began spinning rapidly at the center, creating a powerful rotation. The stone pillars were shattered by her Revolving Heaven.

"This technique is amazing. Looks like Kiyo is going to win now. Kakashi doesn't have any ninjutsu that can break through Revolving Heaven's defense," Kurenai Yuhi, who was watching from the sidelines, smiled confidently. She and Kiyo were teammates and had carried out many missions together. On several occasions, it was Kiyo's Revolving Heaven that had blocked enemy ninjutsu or weapons, and her defense was impeccable.

"That's not certain," Hyuga Mirai said, still focused on the battle. Just as he spoke, a high-pitched sound, like a group of birds chirping in unison, filled the air. Sarutobi Asuma and Nohara Rin, who had been watching from a distance, turned in surprise. They saw Kakashi squatting behind them, his hand gathering a tangible amount of Lightning Release chakra.

"When did he..." Sarutobi Asuma began to ask in disbelief, but he quickly realized that Kakashi had used them as a cover for his Byakugan's blind spot, giving him the perfect opportunity to use ninjutsu.

*Boom!*

At that moment, the Kakashi using the Earth Release jutsu also dispersed, and Kiyo realized that the real Kakashi had been standing behind Asuma and Rin. His hand was crackling with the impressive Lightning Release chakra.

"Move!" Kakashi said emotionlessly. As Sarutobi Asuma and Nohara Rin retreated, Kakashi placed his charged Lightning Release hand on the ground. The crackling sound of thunder grew louder, and the highly concentrated chakra even seemed to activate his cells, making his movements incredibly fast.

Boom! Kakashi shot toward Kiyo, his speed accelerating thanks to the stimulation from the Lightning Release chakra.

'This jutsu…' Kiyo could see how powerful Kakashi's Lightning Release chakra was through her Byakugan, but she had no intention of dodging. Instead, she prepared to take it head-on with Revolving Heaven.

Meanwhile, Hyuga Mirai frowned. As he lowered his arm, four kunai with explosive tags appeared in his hand. But as his gaze shifted elsewhere, he decided not to throw them.

Kurenai Yuhi also formed hand seals, ready to cast a Genjutsu, but she was stopped by Hyuga Mirai's hand.

Just as Kakashi was about to close in on Kiyo, a surge of chakra surrounded her, and she braced herself to counter with Revolving Heaven. Suddenly, a kunai with a distinctive triangular shape appeared in front of Kakashi, followed by the flash of a blonde figure blocking Kakashi's path.

"Sensei!" Kakashi's heart skipped a beat, and before he could react, the wrist of his hand, charged with Chidori, was caught by Namikaze Minato.

"The match is over, Kakashi. You've lost!" Minato declared.
