Naruto: I Beat The Villagers And Made Them Scream

"Report!" 

At this moment, Inoka Uchiha suddenly knocked on the office door and walked in.

"A large number of villagers have suddenly gathered at the entrance of the Konoha Military Police Force headquarters. They're blocking the gate and demanding that we release the captured villagers."

Inoka Uchiha reported.

"What?!"

An elder Jonin of the clan, Tetsuyu Uchiha, known for his hot temper and as a core member of the radical faction in clan meetings, slammed the table in anger. 

"How dare they?! Do they think our Konoha Military Police Force is made of sand?!"

"Leader Tetsuyu, calm down." Kuragami Uchiha said before turning to Inoka. "What's the situation now?"

"Saito has already taken two squads of ninja to maintain order at the entrance." 

Inoka replied.

"Good. Keep the villagers calm for now. I'll be there shortly." 

Kuragami instructed. "Tell Saito to avoid using force unless absolutely necessary."

After Inoka left, Kuragami turned to the other leaders in the office. "You all stay here and continue reviewing the interrogation records. I'll go check on the situation with Captain Fugaku."

"Understood!" 

The six leaders in the office nodded in unison.

Then, Kuragami Uchiha and Fugaku Uchiha headed toward the Konoha Military Police Force headquarters' entrance.

Before they arrived, Shisui hurried over and stopped them.

"Captain, vice-captain." Shisui greeted them with a bow.

"Shisui, step aside if you have nothing urgent to report. Can't you see that the situation is critical?" Fugaku frowned and reprimanded him.

"Captain, vice-captain, please let me negotiate with the villagers." 

Shisui said earnestly. "If the conflict escalates any further, the entire situation will spiral out of control."

"This is not your place to intervene." 

Fugaku said coldly.

"It's fine, Captain Fugaku." 

Kuragami suddenly chuckled." I think letting Shisui handle this might not be a bad idea."

"Kuragami?" Fugaku looked puzzled.

"Shisui has not only served in the Konoha Military Police Force but also worked in the Anbu under Hokage-sama. If he steps forward, he could somewhat represent the Hokage's stance. Besides, I trust that Shisui can handle this without resorting to conflict." 

Kuragami smiled and patted Shisui on the shoulder." Shisui, I leave this to you."

"Don't worry, Kuragami. I'll take care of it." 

Shisui replied, touched by the trust placed in him.

Seeing that Shisui had accepted the task, Kuragami and Fugaku decided to return to the office.

As soon as they arrived, Fugaku couldn't help but ask: "Do you really believe Shisui can handle this?"

Having dealt with the village's troublesome commoners for years, Fugaku knew how difficult they could be. 

Shisui, on the other hand, had grown up during wartime and joined the Anbu straight away, with no experience handling civilian disputes. How could he possibly manage this?

"Elder Fugaku, I understand your concerns." 

Kuragami said with a smile. 

"But since Shisui is now part of the Konoha Military Police Force, he needs to learn how to interact with the villagers sooner or later."

Kuragami pulled out a thick stack of documents from the cabinet, spread them on the table, and looked up at Fugaku.

"By the way, Elder Fugaku, everyone has been working overtime today. Give them two months' salary as a bonus. Also, for the civilian-born ninja, let each of them pick a suitable jutsu from the clan's jutsu library."

"Two months? Isn't that a bit too much?" 

Fugaku hesitated. Even though Kuragami had secured 1.5 billion Ryo last time, they couldn't just spend recklessly.

"Our people follow us because they want a full meal, but I intend to stuff them to the brim!" 

Kuragami declared. "Besides, money isn't an issue. If I can get it once, I can get it again anytime."

"Alright." Fugaku nodded.

"Release them! Release them!"

Nearly two thousand villagers gathered in front of the Konoha Military Police Force headquarters, shouting slogans that shook the air.

Meanwhile, Saito Uchiha led about sixty police officers, forming a human barricade with batons in hand while standing firm behind a security cordon.

The two sides faced off, creating an extremely tense atmosphere.

After receiving Kuragami's approval, Shisui rushed to the frontlines without delay.

"Everyone, please calm down. Go home and disperse. Do not gather in front of the Konoha Military Police Force headquarters." 

Shisui said sincerely to those holding protest signs at the front.

"You people think you can just arrest whoever you want?! Is that fair?! Listen, if you don't release them today, we're not leaving!"

"That's right! Release them! Release them!"

The gathered villagers shouted relentlessly, making it clear they wouldn't back down unless their demands were met.

"We only brought them in for investigation—" 

Shisui began to explain, but before he could finish, a few rotten vegetables were thrown at him, landing squarely on his head.

"Don't listen to them! The ones they arrested are innocent! They're just trying to cover for the village's murderer and oppress us, powerless civilians!"

"Yeah! The damn Konoha Military Police Force! Release them!"

The next moment, a barrage of eggs and vegetables rained down on Shisui.

With his skills, he could easily dodge, but he stood frozen in place, unable to understand why this was happening. 

The Konoha Military Police Force was merely protecting the village's heroes and upholding the will of fire.

Fortunately, Saito quickly pulled him back behind the security line and glared at him impatiently. "Why are you making things worse?"

Although the villagers were riled up, they still retained a basic level of restraint. While they shouted and threw objects, none dared to actually break through the security cordon.

"Hideaki, go back and report the situation to Vice Captain Kuragami immediately." 

Saito instructed after glancing at the shaken Shisui.

Back in the temporary office near the detention center, Kuragami Uchiha listened to Hideaki Sakurai's report, his face growing grim.

The six leaders present remained silent, sensing the tension in the room.

After a moment, Kuragami finally spoke with a dark expression. 

"The Konoha Military Police Force is supposed to be an elite unit of the village. Shisui is an elite Jonin among us. Yet, these villagers are unafraid of even a ninja of his caliber. These are no ordinary villagers."

"They're rioters! Criminals!" 

Kuragami clenched his fists and swung them in the air. "We must take strong action!"

"Everyone, except for the essential interrogation personnel, all remaining Konoha Military Police Force members, assemble in the conference room immediately!"
