Chapter 130: Chapter 128: I Won’t Lose to That Skinny Dog Rasa!

Chapter 128: I Won't Lose to That Skinny Dog Rasa!

In the Land of Iron, the Five Kage Summit continued.

However, without Uchiha Obito showing up to declare war as in the original story, the so-called meeting to unite the Five Great Nations against the Akatsuki turned into a complete farce.

Arguments and disputes dragged on for days, with no substantial results or progress.

The Kage, accustomed to their lofty positions in the ninja world, didn't feel true fear or urgency despite Akatsuki capturing most of the tailed beasts from their villages.

Rasa of the Sand Village didn't consider the One-Tail a worthy target. His dismissive attitude led him to maintain an air of composure and nonchalance throughout the talks.

Onoki of the Stone Village only took note of Uchiha Itachi as a threat within Akatsuki. As for Uchiha Yi, Onoki was reassured by the latter's public declaration of no ties to Akatsuki.

To Onoki, if Uchiha Yi had any sense, he wouldn't risk entangling himself with Akatsuki. If he did, the entire ninja world would likely unite to crush him and the Rain Village.

As for the rest of Akatsuki's members? Onoki had investigated them and deemed their strength insignificant. He saw little reason to truly fear them.

The Stone Village's main goal was simple: recover their lost tailed beasts. The summit was just a means to rally support for this effort, leveraging the combined strength of the other nations.

Meanwhile, A, the Fourth Raikage of the Cloud Village, was outraged over the abduction of their Two-Tails jinchūriki. His anger turned the entire summit into a venue for emotional outbursts.

He demanded to lead the allied forces and imposed unreasonable conditions, displaying a superiority complex that alienated the other Kage.

Even Mei Terumi of the Mist Village, the most eager to unite, couldn't accept Cloud's domineering terms. The Mist had no intention of becoming a subordinate.

Tsunade of the Leaf Village, on the other hand, found herself constantly at odds with the other nations.

Despite Konoha's weakened position, Tsunade refused to back down. She clashed with the other Kage over everything, standing her ground with fiery resolve.

The inability to resolve internal conflicts rendered the Five Kage Summit a futile effort. Without an external force to pressure them into cooperation, uniting these proud and self-serving leaders was an impossible task.

Unless one of them demonstrated overwhelming strength to subdue the others, the idea of a unified front was nothing more than a pipe dream.

Human nature was inherently complex. Each nation had its own agenda, and the Kage's calculations and mistrust kept them from working together.

"Enough!"

With a furious roar, Tsunade slammed her fist onto the conference table, shattering it into splinters.

"I've had enough of this endless nonsense!" she bellowed. "We've wasted too much time already!"

"If you don't want to cooperate, say it now! I'll leave immediately!"

Her explosive outburst silenced the room. The other Kage turned to Tsunade, curious to see what she would do next.

First, she fixed her gaze on Rasa.

"You, Rasa! Are you in or out of this alliance?"

"Me?" Rasa raised an eyebrow, caught off guard by being addressed first. He gave a dismissive reply, "Whatever. If everyone else agrees, I'll go along with it."

Tsunade scowled but took his half-hearted response as a yes.

Next, she turned to Onoki.

"And you, Onoki?"

"Such impudence, addressing me so casually—" Onoki began, his irritation rising.

"Shut it!" Tsunade snapped, cutting him off. "Yes or no, old man?!"

"I—"

Before Onoki could refuse, his aide Kurotsuchi spoke up, "We agree to the alliance."

"Onoki-sama, this is for the best," Kurotsuchi whispered to the grumbling old man.

With a begrudging grunt, Onoki relented, signaling his agreement.

Finally, Tsunade's gaze fell on A, the Raikage.

"And what about you, Raikage?!"

Compared to the others, Tsunade found him the most infuriating to deal with. His arrogance and stubbornness were unmatched.

"I'm all for a united front," A declared, "but only if Cloud Village takes command of the alliance!"

Tsunade slammed her fist again, though this time on her own chair. "Why are you so obsessed with leading?"

"Because you're all too weak!" A scoffed. "None of you are qualified to lead this alliance!"

Tsunade smirked at his condescension.

"In that case, let's settle this with a match!"

"A match?" A looked intrigued.

"Yes. Let's see who's stronger," Tsunade proposed. "The winner leads the alliance. The loser shuts up and follows orders."

A grinned, cracking his knuckles. "Fine by me! But instead of a fight, let's arm wrestle—one round to decide it all."

Tsunade's eyes narrowed.

A was confident. In his eyes, none of the other Kage could match his strength.

Onoki was an old man whose only notable asset was his Dust Release—not raw physical power.

Mei Terumi and Tsunade were women, and A believed they were naturally weaker than men in terms of brute strength.

As for Rasa? He dismissed the Kazekage entirely, viewing him as a malnourished weakling—a "skinny dog."

To A, this match was already in the bag. "How could I lose?" he thought with smug certainty.
