My Sexy Female CEO

Chapter 173: Searching for the Entrance

Having heard Xiaoqing's words, Li Xiangmei found herself unable to argue and finally obediently got into Lin Yifan's car.

After getting into the car, Xiaoqing took a look at the interior and couldn't help but exclaim, "It seems the handsome guy is quite wealthy after all, where's his company? I'll go visit someday."

"He's just a driver and bodyguard, you think he's actually rich?" Li Xiangmei rolled her eyes.

It wasn't that she looked down on Lin Yifan's profession, but she didn't want Xiaoqing to be deceived by these superficial luxurious appearances.

"Being a driver and bodyguard isn't bad either, as long as his salary is higher than ours, that's all that matters." Xiaoqing didn't look down on Lin Yifan for that; she then asked, "Handsome guy, how much do you earn a month now?"

"It's quite modest, just over fifty thousand!" Lin Yifan humbly replied.

"Xiangmei sis, look, his salary is so high! It's equivalent to our annual salary in just a month; so his financial foundation is still pretty good." Xiaoqing nudged Li Xiangmei's shoulder and said with a smile, seemingly with another meaning.

Fifty thousand monthly indeed shocked Li Xiangmei a bit, but that was it, after which she lifted her lip and said, "What's so great about that, isn't Dr. Luo earning tens of thousands a month too?"

"You mean that Dr. Luo, the lecher? If he has twenty thousand, that's already pretty good, definitely not higher than this handsome guy." Xiaoqing countered.

Dr. Luo was Li Xiangmei's current boyfriend, and it was precisely because of this that she wanted to set up the handsome guy with sister Xiangmei.

"Xiaoqing! Are you biased against Dr. Luo?" Li Xiangmei asked.

Ever since Dr. Luo had pursued her, her sister had kept speaking ill of Dr. Luo, yet she couldn't provide any proof, which was very annoying to her.

"How am I biased against him? If he didn't often do those sleazy and unsightly things, who would be biased against him? Many sisters in the hospital have biases against him, it's just that your silly sister doesn't believe it," Xiaoqing replied.

Dr. Luo often teased female nurses and female patients, and he even took advantage of young female patients when they were anesthetized during surgery, engaging in extremely despicable behavior; regrettably, she hadn't recorded it, otherwise Dr. Luo would have been notorious.

"It's still the same, as soon as you produce actual proof, I will immediately believe you," Li Xiangmei responded.

"Alright! Seems like I can't convince you. But as your sister, I just want to advise you to stay away from that lecherous Luo, or you will be the one who regrets it eventually." After that, Xiaoqing stopped talking.

Seeing Xiaoqing so angry made Li Xiangmei skeptical, "Could it be that Dr. Luo really has character issues?"

This sister was her close friend, she wouldn't lie to her; the only explanation was, perhaps Dr. Luo really had issues; so she decided to find an opportunity to test Dr. Luo herself.

Having heard the conversation between the sisters Li Xiangmei and Xiaoqing, Lin Yifan understood why Xiaoqing wanted to help him; he also understood why Li Xiangmei wanted to keep her distance, realizing that she already had a partner, and not a good one at that.

"Is it good to be someone else's mistress? Not really! Sort out your own matters first, there's no need to meddle in others'," Lin Yifan decided not to interfere, planning to just have a quiet dinner the next evening.

Afterward, he drove the car to Lotte Plaza and let the two women get out.

"Handsome guy, remember seven o'clock tomorrow night!" Xiaoqing winked at Lin Yifan inside the car, sending a covert signal.

"OK!" Lin Yifan gestured understandingly, showing he got it; although he was really just humoring her.

Only after the two women turned and left did Lin Yifan drive away.

Pulling out the lotto ticket he had earned from a thief that evening, he then entered the address from the ticket into his GPS, and followed the provided route.

Forty minutes later, he arrived at a bar in Sector CB.

"A bar? Can't be," Lin Yifan found it hard to believe, thinking he had come to the wrong place, so he took out the betting ticket to check it.

He checked every single word and found that he hadn't come to the wrong place, but why a bar?

"Could the bar just be a front? Is the real fighting ring hidden somewhere secret? Yes! That must be it."

With this suspicion, Lin Yifan decided to get out of the car to check and verify.

Upon entering the bar, the dazzling lights were as usual, the DJ was still pumping, and the crowd was as wild as ever. It seemed there was nothing unusual.

"Where is the ring? Where is it?" Lin Yifan looked around but couldn't see any sign of a ring, feeling a bit lost.

However, his actions had caught the attention of some people in the bar; they were observing his every move.

Since he couldn't find it himself, he decided to ask others. So, Lin Yifan approached a man at the bar and asked, "Brother, is there a boxing match to watch here?"

The man at the bar looked him over and then turned back around to continue drinking.

Seeing that the man ignored him, Lin Yifan then asked the bartender, but the response was still indifferent.

"The more secretive they are, the more something is wrong." Lin Yifan decided to brave the Dragon Pool and Tiger's Den himself.

He then started walking deeper into the bar, attempting to find the entrance to the underground fighting ring.

But after going in further, he found nothing.

"Strange, how can there be nothing?"

When he walked back by a staircase, a sudden idea struck him, "If it's not on the first floor, could it be on the second?"

However, the staircase had an iron gate welded on it, and the gate was locked with a padlock, blocking access to the upper floors.

"This way is blocked, time to find another way." With a decision made, Lin Yifan quickly left the bar and went to the back of the bar, then he climbed up the anti-theft window bars.

Climbing was a mandatory skill for special forces, whether it was scaling buildings or cliffs, and mastery was crucial. As a special forces king, Lin Yifan's climbing skills were superb, so he made it up easily.

Since every window had anti-theft bars, he needed to climb to the rooftop of the bar to get in; otherwise, he couldn't access the second floor.

Fortunately, the bar was in an old residential building, only five stories high, or else it would have exhausted him.

It took him just over a minute to climb to the rooftop. Lin Yifan shook his slightly sore arms, then went down from the rooftop.

He continued downstairs to the second floor, beginning his search for the entrance to the underground fighting ring.

After searching left and right, he suddenly found an elevator; a red light was on next to the elevator door, indicating it was operational and in use.

"There was no elevator on the first floor, why is there one on the second?" Lin Yifan wondered.

During his search on the first floor, he hadn't found any place to take an elevator, so he was curious why there would be one on the second floor.
