Chapter 4: The Path of Cultivation and the Power of Nigeria
Kayode sat cross-legged under the violet-leafed tree, still absorbing the Spirit Quill Hare's core energy. The warm power coursed through his veins, settling deep in his body. He could feel something awakening within him—a shift that made his body feel stronger, faster, and more alive.

A glowing icon labeled Shop appeared on the translucent panel floating in front of him.
"What's this now?" Kayode muttered, tapping on the icon.
The system's familiar, shameless voice chimed in. "Welcome to the Ancestral Shop, Kayode! You've unlocked the best feature this side of the cultivation world. Here, you can exchange your hard-earned Ancestral Points for treasures. And because I'm generous, I've stocked it with some premium Nigerian items alongside cultivation treasures."
Kayode blinked, confused. "Wait, what do you mean by Nigerian items? Like, are we talking jollof rice or—"
"Why don't you see for yourself? Go on, open it!"
With a sigh, Kayode selected the Shop tab. A list of items appeared, divided into two sections: Cultivation Treasures and Nigerian Treasures.

Kayode's jaw dropped as he scrolled through the Nigerian Treasures. "Pepper Spray of Lagos Chaos? Gala of Endless Stamina? Are you serious right now?"
"Dead serious. These treasures pack a punch! Don't underestimate the power of Naija ingenuity."
Kayode couldn't help but chuckle. "This has to be the most ridiculous system ever."
"Ridiculous or brilliant? Imagine the power of the Aso-Oke Cloak when you're facing some overconfident cultivator. Or the Pepper Spray when you need a quick escape. Trust me, you'll thank me later."
Kayode looked at his Ancestral Points. "Alright, I'll hold off for now. What else can this system do?"
"Oh, I'm glad you asked! Since you've reached Foundation establishment stage, you've unlocked another special ability. Ready? Drumroll, please!"
Kayode groaned. "Just tell me."
"Fine. You can now summon Nigerian Actors and Comedian Spirits to assist you in battle!"
Kayode stared blankly at the air. "What?"
"Oh, don't act surprised. Imagine having legendary spirits like Baba Suwe or Mr. Ibu fighting by your side, cracking jokes and destroying enemies at the same time. Who wouldn't want that?"
Kayode rubbed his temples. "You can't be serious."
"Oh, I'm very serious. Try it out. Use your Ancestral Points to summon one right now!"
"Let me get this straight," Kayode said, pointing at the air as if he could see the system. "You want me to spend my points to summon the spirit of, say, a Nollywood actor? And they'll be… overpowered?"
"Correct! And hilarious! You're about to witness true greatness, Kayode. Pick one."
Kayode hesitated. "Do I get to choose who I summon?"
"Nah. It's random. Where's the fun in letting you pick?"
With a resigned sigh, Kayode selected the Summon Actor and comedian Spirit option in the Shop. The screen glowed brightly, and a swirling gate of golden light with a tag 'No Gree For Anybody' appeared in front of him.
"Ding! 20 AP deducted." The system notification sounded.
"Please don't be embarrassing," Kayode muttered.
Out of the portal stepped a tall, regal-looking figure wearing an oversized agbada and a confident smirk. It was none other than Kanayo O. Kanayo, the legendary Nollywood actor.
Kayode's jaw dropped. "You've got to be kidding me."
Kanayo's spirit adjusted his agbada and looked around. "Ah, so this is the cultivation world? Interesting." He turned to Kayode and gave a sharp nod. "You summoned me. What do you need?"
The system chimed in. "Congratulations! You've summoned Kanayo O. Kanayo, Spirit of Strategy and Misdirection. His abilities include:
Illusionary guy: Distracts enemies with illusionary attacks.
Mystic Deals: Temporarily boosts your power in exchange for resources.
Commanding Presence: Intimidates enemies and boosts ally morale by 300%."
Kayode blinked in disbelief. "I don't even know where to start."
Kanayo smiled knowingly. "Don't worry, young man. Just point me at the enemy, and I'll handle the rest."
Before Kayode could respond, a loud growl echoed from the forest. The trees rustled, and a massive snake-like beast with golden scales slithered into view, its glowing red eyes locked onto him.
"Ah, here we go again," Kayode muttered, gripping his branch-turned-weapon.
Kanayo stepped forward, his agbada flowing dramatically. "Stand back, boy. Let me show you the power of Nigerian ingenuity."
The spirit raised his hand, and a golden light engulfed the area. The snake hesitated, clearly confused. Kanayo smirked. "You see, in Nollywood, the unexpected always happens. Hehe."
With a flick of his wrist, several illusionary versions of Kayode appeared, surrounding the snake. The beast struck wildly, unable to determine which one was real.
Kayode watched in awe as Kanayo summoned a glowing contract scroll out of thin air. "Now, if you want to survive, sign here and swear allegiance to the boy."
The snake hissed, confused but intimidated.
"System," Kayode whispered, "is this for real?"
"Oh, absolutely. Kanayo doesn't play. Now stop gawking and finish the beast while it's distracted!"
Taking advantage of the chaos, Kayode charged forward and delivered a powerful strike to the snake's head. With a final hiss, the creature collapsed, its body dissolving into golden light.

Kanayo dusted off his agbada. "Well done, boy. I'll take my leave for now, but summon me again if you need real strategy." He disappeared in a flash of light.
Kayode stood there, stunned. "This… is going to be a wild journey."
The system chuckled. "Welcome to the cultivation world, Naija style. Get ready for more chaos, more treasures, and more legendary spirits."
Kayode couldn't help but grin. "Alright. Let's see what else this world has to offer."
