MY Masochistic CEO

Chapter 196 Asserting Dominance

"When you actually do it, then talk." She rolled her eyes at me. "Can you let go of me now?"

"What's there to be afraid of? No one's watching. Besides, your car windows are specially treated."

"Let go, I want to have breakfast!"

Only then did I let go, and the atmosphere lightened up on the way to the company. When we arrived at the company and walked into the marketing department, Melody Wilson was already there. Seeing her, I immediately changed my mood, and she also saw me, her face instantly darkened. 'This shouldn't be happening,' I thought. 'Could it be that what was said last night didn't work?' Just as I sat down, Jessica Lawrence came over. "Are you coming over today?"

She was still dressed innocently today, with light makeup.

"You go first. I have something to deal with here."

"Okay, then I'll go ahead!"

Seeing the two of us whispering here, Melody Wilson's face completely changed, with anger and a hint of grievance.

I said to Jessica Lawrence, "I really like your look today. Keep it up."

She rolled her eyes at me. "I'll be waiting for you in the office!"

After saying that she picked up her bag and left. "Ms. Wilson, I have a client appointment today. I'll leave first!"

Melody Wilson nodded coldly. Shortly after, she texted me, "Meet me on the rooftop later." With that, she walked away with a cold face.

Inviting me to the rooftop? I rubbed my chin and left a few minutes after she had gone. On Saturdays, everyone is relatively idle, and everyone is in a laid-back mindset at work. I climbed the stairs to the rooftop where Melody Wilson had already been waiting, a bit impatient. "Why did you call me here?"

"Why didn't you reply to my messages yesterday?"

"I'm busy!"

"What are you busy with?"

"As you saw, I entered the venue with the Wallace company people yesterday and got a lot of business cards from the sponsors. After the banquet, I visited the clients."

"Any potential clients?"

"A few. Negotiations are underway."

Melody Wilson's expression improved. "Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

"I wanted to surprise you, but now it seems more like a shock."

I sighed. "You must have misunderstood again. I feel like a failure no matter what I do. You're never satisfied, even though I really tried my best. Are we not suitable for each other?"

A hint of panic flashed in Melody Wilson's eyes. "What do you mean by that? What do you mean by not suitable for each other?"

"Maybe we should rethink our relationship," I said.

Melody Wilson's face darkened. "William Maine, you jerk. You were the one crying and begging me to be with you, and now you're saying such things. Are you trying to abandon me after getting what you want?"

I chuckled bitterly. "I really like you, but we've been together for how long, and we've had so many conflicts and suspicions every day. How does that resemble a relationship? People who don't know us might think we're filming a spy movie!"

"I'm telling you, don't be ungrateful."

"How am I ungrateful? Why do you think I'm working so hard? Do you know how much money I can make if I close these few potential clients?"

"Of course I know!" she said with a grievance. "I just care about you." She finally said this sentence.

I felt relieved, and my expression softened. "I'm sorry, my tone was too harsh just now."

I held her hand. She shook it off somewhat coquettishly, but I held it tightly. How could I let her go?

Taking the opportunity to embrace her, she said, "These days, you're never in the office, always out with that flirtatious woman. Have you ever considered my feelings?"

"I was wrong. I neglected you. I admit my fault!" I held her tightly. "I'm sorry. I'll try to focus more on you in the future."

"You should have done that from the beginning. Let me tell you, William Maine, every time you upset me, I'll mark it down. When I've accumulated enough disappointment, we're done!"

Without uttering a word, I assertively pinned her against the wall and kissed her fiercely. "What did you say? It's over? Impossible. You will never leave me in this lifetime. Without my consent, no one can take you away from me!"

"I can hardly breathe!"

"Then do you dare to say such things again?"

"William Maine, you're too domineering!"

"Are you going to say it or not?"

I seized her hands, lifting them above her head, and held her chin firmly, saying domineeringly, "So what if I'm domineering? Once you've been kissed by me, you belong to me!"

"You're shameless!"

I smirked slyly. "Then I'll show you just how shameless I can be!"

As for kissing, I was a seasoned expert, and she seemed to understand my intentions. She pleaded repeatedly, "William Maine, please, don't kiss where it's visible!"

"Do you know you are wrong?"

"I do."

"Will you keep speaking in a similar manner?"

She bit her lower lip, and I coldly hummed. "If you stay silent now, it means you'll speak later. If that's the case, don't blame me!"

"Ah... I won't say it. I won't say it!"

"It's too late!"

A few minutes later, her pristine neck bore several love bites.

I refrained from excessive actions, mostly marking areas that were out of sight, engaging in a playful lark.

She was no match for me and had already pleaded for mercy repeatedly.

"Do you dare anymore?"

Her body turned limp, gasping for breath. "No... no more dare."

"If you dare to do it again, you'll see how I punish you."

At this point, Melody Wilson looked like a wronged young wife, took out her phone to take a picture, saying, "Look at what you've done. You've gnawed it like this, how can I face people!" While speaking, she took out concealer to cover the marks on her neck.

"You can kiss them back."

"Ugh, your flesh stinks."
