My Magical System

According to the dragon, in his dwelling, there was a type of bee family called the Miasmatic Colony.

This Miasmatic Colony is very dangerous if it gets out of that area and wanders into places of human settlement because the miasma they release is a big threat, especially to normal people and people with low magical force.

"Do you know what the most dangerous disease is?" The guardian dragon suddenly threw a very serious question at him.

Eman frowned and thought. He felt that this question was not ordinary. If this is an ordinary question, surely the answer that will come to your mind is "A disease which cannot be cured by any medicine" or some specific disease like cancer. However, he has a strong hunch that this is not the right answer.

After a little contemplation, Eman finally opened his mouth.

"Widespread disease."

The shock on the dragon's face was evident. The guardian dragon did not expect the young man would guess the right answer.

"Ohoho, you're a surprisingly smart one. That said, you are right. A disease that cannot be cured by any medicine could only kill a few affected people, however, a widespread disease can cause an economic collapse that can topple a towering and unbeatable empire. The Miasmatic Colony is carrying that kind of threat!"

Eman frowned upon hearing it. That was a very serious matter.

After the dragon told him about the disease, it suddenly fell silent and closed its eyes as if in deep thought.

A few seconds later, it suddenly opened its eyes again and screamed. "This is bad! The hive and the bees are no longer in my dwelling!"

Eman wondered how the dragon knew it. Perhaps it used an ability like clairvoyance. Its dwelling is probably close to this place.

Anyway, "That's bad news. Wait— it can be…"

Eman looked at Zennie. In his mind, he wondered if it was connected with what happened in Zennie's town.

A confused expression could be seen on Zennie's face. Maybe Zennie also noticed the slight change in Eman's expression, so she suddenly asked him.

"What did the guardian dragon tell you?" She asked curiously.

He immediately explained what the dragon said. After telling her, he could see the shock on her face.

"Based on the date when the guardian dragon's slumber was interrupted by the group of mysterious people, it seemed it happened a few days before the first appearance of the disease in Rothsport Town!" Zennie said in shock, covering her mouth.

"That means..." Eman and Zennie looked at each other and nodded, seemingly having the same thoughts. Sol just looked at them.

After saying goodbye, the three immediately flew to Rothsport Town. They passed through the middle of big hills where a wide river can be seen at the bottom.

Soon they saw the canopy of the city, ahead of them. Eman was surprised by what he saw. The entire town itself is situated in the middle of a vast lake?! And the town itself was designed like a port.

According to Zennie, it used to be a port, but after the war long ago ended, the town had slowly transitioned into a normal town.

"There used to be sea water here before, but as time went by, the sea water gradually descended, retreated, turning it into a dry land eventually. Then time went by and a fertile water came out until to the point that it turned into a huge lake. In order to adapt to the situation, the town underwent several reconstructions, but the original design was maintained."

"So that's what happened," Eman said after listening to Zennie.

"The town looks beautiful but the atmosphere somehow looks gloomy."

As Sol said, there was a gloomy atmosphere surrounding the town.

"It used to be a lively town before the appearance of the disease," lamented Zennie.

"Don't worry, with my medicine, everyone will be back to normal soon," Sol said proudly.

She wasn't proud for herself but for the person who was truly the one concocting the medicines.

Zennie instinctively hugged Sol from behind. "Thank you, Miss Sol!"

Sol was taken aback, but she didn't refute. In the academy, the princess also randomly hugs her.

Looking at the town from above, they could see a long bridge connecting the town entrance to the mainland.

They also saw some wooden boats by the mini harbor on the sides of the town and even on the bridge.

There was even a light tower on the north side of the town.

However, aside from that, Eman also caught sight of the almost invisible mist that seemingly came from the nearest forest at the end of the lake. But, to detect it, one needs to have acute vision.

That said, most people in the town probably didn't notice it.

Using his <Eye Of Scope> hunter ability, he saw some insects flying above the forest and even above the lake.

"I see…" Zennie fell silent and stared gloomily at the town that was almost a few meters away from them.

The almost invisible mist was probably the miasma the bees were carrying. To think that these bees even reach this place from their original settlement, how devastating it would be later on if left alone.

They landed outside the town in front of the entrance where two weary-looking guards were standing at both sides while from time to time clenching their chests while coughing.

The two were suddenly alarmed by their sudden arrival. A little fear can be seen on their faces. Especially because the flying creature in front of them had a strange face.

It was clearly not a normal beast. How can a creature have a human face, a wolf-like body, and bat-like wings, as one entity?!

That emerald thing, isn't that flame?!
