The mocking sneer in Alex's voice cut through the air like a blade, silencing the trapped nobles and royals. Their gilded arrogance turned to brittle shock as his words struck them, leaving them stunned into an uneasy, suffocating silence.

Seconds passed before one noble's composure snapped like a frail twig. His face twisted in rage, and he bared his teeth, spitting venom.

"Y-You bastard! I'll kill you!!"

His furious shout broke the spell, unleashing a cacophony of outraged voices.

"How dare you, scum!"

"Filthy peasant trash! You dare lay hands on us?!"

"Once I'm free, I'll make you suffer in ways unimaginable!"

"Garbage like you should know its place—in the dirt."

The threats and curses rained down like arrows, but Alex's reaction was far from fear. His lips curled into a grin that dripped with malice, and a dark chuckle escaped him.

"Hahaha... Is that the best you can do?" His laughter was sharp, cutting deeper than any blade. "You're nothing but barking dogs in gilded chains."

One of them, emboldened by anger, stepped closer to the bars. "You dare mock us—"

Bang!

A flash of light. The deafening crack of a magic bullet. The noble's words died in his throat as the projectile tore through his chest, leaving a gaping, bloody hole. He crumpled to the floor in a lifeless heap, blood pooling beneath him.

The cage fell into a shocked, trembling silence. Fear took root in their hearts as they stared at Alex, whose smile only grew wider, and colder.

"What?" He mocked, pointing a finger at another noble. "One isn't enough? Shall we try again?"

The man shook his head frantically, stammering, "N-No! Please, don't—"

Bang!

Another magic bullet ripped through flesh and bone, silencing the noble's pleas forever. Blood sprayed like a macabre fountain, painting the bars and floor crimson. The rest of the captives recoiled, trembling and pale, their bravado shattered.

"Feeling powerless now?" Alex's voice dropped, his words laced with venom. "Isn't it funny how the tables turn? All your lives, you've treated commoners like insects to crush underfoot. You've made them suffer, cry, and bleed. But now? Now it's your turn to squirm."

He stepped closer, his killing intent suffocating. The air grew heavy, as though death itself had entered the room.

"You're not special," He spat, his voice icy. "You're just weak. Weak, pathetic worms hiding behind titles and bloodlines. And like the vermin you are, I'll exterminate you."

A trembling voice dared to speak. "H-How dare you compare us to commoners!"

Alex raised an eyebrow, curiosity mingling with contempt. "Oh? Enlighten me. How is your life any more valuable than theirs?"

The noble's pride flared, even in the face of death. "We are of royal blood! Descendants of this kingdom's founder! We are stronger, smarter, and superior in every way! Those filthy scums exist to serve us. They're nothing, nothing! Even if we kill dozens, it doesn't matter!"

Silence fell, heavy and oppressive, as Alex's laughter rang out. It was wild, unhinged, filled with a dark joy.

"Hahahaha! You're exactly as I expected—rotten to the core. You nobles never change, do you? Good. That makes this easier."

His eyes gleamed with bloodlust as he surveyed the caged prisoners. "You're the real disease of this kingdom. Leeching off the weak, stifling progress, clinging to your precious traditions. But don't worry. I'll be your cure."

He gestured grandly, his tone mocking. "Do you know what happened to the House of Hapshass? Or the House of Zephyra? Rael? Aster? Oh, that's right. You covered it up."

His smile twisted into something monstrous. "I killed them. Every last one. I burned their manors to the ground with them inside. And soon, your families will join them in the ashes."

The nobles' eyes widened in horror as he revealed his crimes with relish. He leaned closer to the bars, his voice a venomous whisper.

"This kingdom will crumble from the inside. I'll let your precious noble houses tear each other apart for scraps of power. And when the dust settles, I'll step in. As Wizard King, I'll strip away your titles, your privileges, your lives. Even the Houses of Silva and Vermillion won't escape my grasp."

He straightened, his expression a mask of cold determination. "In the end, this kingdom will be free of your filth. The commoners you've oppressed will rise, and the nobles—you parasites—will rot."

Turning on his heel, Alex strode toward the door. His laughter, low and chilling, echoed behind him.

"Enjoy your remaining days in this hell. It's more mercy than you deserve."

The air in the room grew colder as if Alex's malice had seeped into the walls themselves. The nobles stared in mute horror as he paused at the doorway, then turned back with a calculated slowness that made their skin crawl.

"Oh, don't look so defeated already," He purred, his voice smooth but dripping with venom. "The fun is just beginning."

He raised his hand, summoning a crackling orb of dark energy that pulsed with an ominous hum. The faint, otherworldly whispers emanating from it seemed to claw at the edges of their sanity.

"You see, killing you outright would be too merciful," Alex continued, his grin widening. "No, I want you to understand the depths of your insignificance. I want you to feel every ounce of despair you've inflicted on others."

With a flick of his wrist, the orb exploded into countless tendrils of energy that snaked through the cages, latching onto the nobles. Their screams echoed as the dark magic seeped into their bodies, twisting and contorting them with agony that defied description.

"Ah, music to my ears," Alex said with mock delight, tilting his head as if savoring a fine symphony. "Do you feel it? That's the weight of every sin you've committed, amplified, and turned against you."

One of the nobles, writhing in pain, managed to gasp out a plea. "P-Please... stop..."

Alex's expression darkened, his smile vanishing. He strode forward, his boots splashing through the growing pools of blood. "Stop?" he repeated, his voice low and dangerous. "Did you stop when a mother begged for her child's life? Did you stop when entire villages cried out for mercy as you burned them to the ground?"

He knelt beside the trembling man, his gaze piercing. "No. You didn't stop. So why should I?"

Standing again, Alex turned to address the group as a whole. "This is justice," he declared, his voice rising with a fervent intensity. "Not the hollow justice you pretend to uphold with your laws and titles, but true justice. The kind that balances the scales."

He let the silence hang for a moment, his eyes sweeping over the broken figures before him. Then, with a sharp motion, he dissipated the remaining tendrils of energy, leaving the nobles collapsed and gasping.
