My Hitman System

Chapter 207: Dylan's Office (1)

Jin took a taxi to the hotel, and after freshening up, looked at the wound on the side of his head carefully.

"Luckily, they didn't shave off the hair," Jin muttered to himself. It still pained a little because of the stitch, but the bleeding had stopped thanks to it. There were a few small cuts on his nose and cheeks, which had dried by now, but they didn't pose a problem as they were hardly visible from a distance.

The scrapes on his hands and forearms were a lot more visible, but they could be hidden with clothing.

"That cat almost did a number on me," Jin couldn't help but mutter to himself, knowing that, for an actor, his face was the most valuable asset.

With that, he soon got dressed and had a hearty breakfast before finally leaving for the entertainment agency in the rental car that had been arranged by the hotel.

It had been a while since he had been at the entertainment agency. Looking at the building, which was quite different from how he previously remembered, Jin couldn't help but feel good.

The old paint was renewed, and the building exuded much more glamour than before. Above the main entrance, the signboard was also changed to an extravagant one on which the name of the agency was written in a stylish font: Blue Horizon Entertainment.

'It seems they've been doing well these days,' Jin thought to himself and made his way in through the main door.

The hallway was a lot busier than Jin had expected, and there were a lot of fresh actors loitering around here and there for a chance to get sponsored by the agency. Therefore, the moment Jin arrived, it caught the attention of everyone.

"It's Jin Blaker!"

"Oh my god. It's really him!"

"He's really back!"

Many exclamations rang in the hall as the young actors almost couldn't believe their eyes. It would be a lie if they said that they had not applied to this agency because of Jin's reputation as an actor.

So, seeing him in front of their eyes, they all couldn't help but swoon with joy and enthusiasm.

Seeing such a huge reaction, Jin was at first shocked but soon handled himself and waved at everyone and said, "Good morning, everyone. I wish you all good luck for today's sponsor auditions. Hopefully, we'll be working together in the future very soon."

With a charming smile, he addressed the crowd and, with just a few words, won the hearts of the actors who were filled with nervousness for their auditions. They all looked at him with shimmering eyes filled with gratefulness.

"Gosh! He's so thoughtful," an aspiring actress muttered to her friend.

"I know, right. He looks even more charming in person… Is this love at first sight?" her friend agreed.

However, not caring the least bit about the ramblings the two girls were having, a guy who was standing next to them shouted at the top of his lungs,

"Jin! I love you!!" The guy shouted loudly from the crowd and attracted several eyes.

The smile which Jin had been maintaining on his face all this while finally faltered the moment he heard those words, and he looked at the young man weirdly. It wasn't just him, as everyone else was also staring at him in shock and surprise.

He was a blonde guy wearing a pink T-shirt which had Jin's picture printed on it. It was clear that he was one of those die-hard fans. As understanding dawned upon their eyes, it was the same for Jin as well.

"Love you too, keep working hard!" Jin said encouragingly and left for the elevator the very next moment without much of a thought. However, his words had stunned the crowd for a second.

"HE REPLIED!!" The guy jumped with joy the very next moment when he heard Jin's words. He was filled with motivation to perform his best in today's auditions.

The two women around him couldn't help but look at him with bitter eyes.

'If only we could be as shameless as he…' they thought to themselves.

Phew!

Jin sighed in relief and entered the elevator. He wasn't mentally prepared to witness such a large crowd at the entrance. Pressing the button for the third floor, the next moment, he patiently waited for the lift to go up.

Previously, Dylan's office was located on the first floor, but now it had been shifted to the third floor. When the doors opened, he made his way towards the hallway, and after asking around a few people who looked at him with surprise, he finally reached the place.

"There it is!" Jin muttered as he saw a door with the nameplate "Dylan Pierce" clearly stuck on it. On top of his name was a title: 'Senior Talent Manager.'

He knocked on the door, and the door was soon opened.

"Good morning," Jin smiled brightly.

However, Dylan's attention soon went to the cuts on his face as he asked with a frown, "What's with those wounds?"

"Well, it's a long story," Jin sighed as he made his way inside Dylan's office and looked around. It was quite spacious and was designed in a manner which looked pleasing to the eye.

"Pretty good office you got here." Jin whistled in amazement as he took a seat on a comfortable couch placed in the centre of the room to receive guests.

Dylan didn't react to Jin's attempt to change the topic and sat on the couch facing Jin and asked, "That's not important right now. Tell me how you got those wounds?"

"Well…" With a sigh, Jin explained everything that happened to him.

Dylan's face went through a series of changes when he heard everything, and by the end of it, he couldn't help but rub his forehead.

Suddenly thinking of something, he looked towards Jin, "Don't tell me you drove to the agency by car as well."

"Ok, I won't," Jin grinned widely at his words.

"You…" A sense of irritation welled up inside Dylan, but he contained it with a sigh.
