Chapter 17: The Legendary Bloodline
Ultra Ego and Infinite Energy—these were what Kahn envisioned for his future battles. With these powers and his exceptional lineage, Kahn could already foresee the epic clashes ahead.
"Who would be up for some hand-to-hand combat now?" Kahn's voice boomed with confidence. "It's all about tearing them down and rebuilding, making them wonder what hit them."
Who could withstand such a relentless fighting style? Kahn felt unbeatable, relying on his raw power and energy. "Sure, it's not fancy," he thought, "but it gets the job done!"
Two days later, Bulma woke from her coma. Initially worried about Kahn's safety, her concerns eased when Whis assured her that Kahn was safe and sound.
Under Whis's guidance, Kahn began his training, starting with basic chores and physical conditioning. Recognizing Kahn's potential, Whis focused on honing his fundamentals and combat instincts.
Spring turned to autumn, and a year flew by quickly. Under Whis's rigorous regime, Kahn's strength underwent a remarkable transformation. It was during this time that King Cold, seeking vengeance for his son Frieza, led the Frieza Legion to Earth.
"Merus," Vados addressed her brother.
"Looks like Frieza's father, King Cold, is making a move toward Earth."
Merus nodded thoughtfully. "Should we intervene Sister Vados?"
Vados hesitated briefly. "Angels shouldn't interfere with mortal affairs. This is a job for the Galactic Patrol."
In response to King Cold's impending threat, Merus organized the Galactic Patrol. Intercepting King Cold's fleet, they forced them to land on a nearby planet.
"Galactic Patrol?" King Cold scoffed. "How bold."
Ignoring his bluster, Merus declared, "You're under arrest for your crimes against the galaxy, by order of the Galactic King."
Enraged, King Cold ordered his forces to attack, but they were swiftly overpowered. Defeated and disgraced, King Cold was detained, awaiting judgment.
Meanwhile, on Beerus' planet, Kahn trained tirelessly with Whis. Over the year, he ascended from Super Saiyan One to Super Saiyan Three, mastering new levels of power.
"Your form's improving, Kahn," Whis observed calmly as Kahn's attacks crackled with lightning.
Frustrated by Whis's composed demeanor, Kahn detonated a massive energy explosion. Whis, unfazed, effortlessly dodged the blast and countered with precise maneuvers.
"Remember, control over power is just as crucial as raw strength," Whis advised evading Kahn's onslaught.
Amidst the chaos, Whis maintained his serenity, his wisdom guiding Kahn through each explosive challenge.
Kahn seemed reckless, relying solely on various energy-bombing fighting techniques, and was eventually forced to retreat…
Even Whis was impressed. He had to admit that despite Kahn's reckless fighting style, it was undeniably effective!
In the current situation, Whis couldn't rely on Ultra Instinct to dodge Kahn's energy explosions. He found himself surrounded by Kahn's relentless blasts. Whis wondered, could Kahn's energy be inexhaustible?
With Kahn's fighting style, if he couldn't overwhelm or defeat his opponents immediately, he'd end up in a passive position next.
Whis calmly waved his Angel staff, instantly neutralizing the violent energy explosions created by Kahn.
Boom!
In the next moment, a swift wind broke, and Kahn's massive fist charged at incredible speed.
Whis calmly tilted his head, narrowly avoiding Kahn's punch.
Kahn, halting his attack, admired, "As expected, Whis. I can't lay a finger on you like this."
After their recent sparring sessions, Kahn had gained a newfound respect for Whis's power.
"The gap between us is considerable, Mr. Kahn," Whis remarked casually. "From our battles, I've observed that your style resembles that of Lord Beerus."
Kahn shrugged nonchalantly. Indeed, his combat style was similar that of the God of Destructions, making Ultra Instinct's ultimate dodging unnecessary.
"You've mastered qi and energy quite proficiently, but there's still room for improvement," Whis commented. "I have one question, though. Do you truly have enough energy for those self-destructive maneuvers?"
Concerned about energy depletion from Kahn's aggressive style, Whis inquired further.
"Energy? If I didn't have enough, I wouldn't use it," Kahn replied confidently. Only when cornered did he resort to such explosive tactics, relying on his seemingly limitless energy reserves.
"I see," Whis nodded. Originally planning to teach Kahn Ultra Instinct, Whis now considered Kahn more suited for mastering Ultra Ego.
However, Kahn's current strength wasn't sufficient for such advanced training. Whis decided to first bolster Kahn's power before delving into the intricacies of Ultra Ego.
During their lunch break, Kahn realized it had been a year since he arrived on Beerus's planet. It was almost time for Goku's resurrection.
"Whis, could you use your Angel staff to help me contact someone?" Kahn asked, unable to communicate directly with King Kai's planet or Earth over such distances.
Whis gladly obliged, using his Angel staff to connect with King Kai.
"It's Brother Kahn!" Son Goku greeted enthusiastically upon hearing Kahn's voice.
Grinning, Kahn said, "Goku, there's a gravity training room behind my house. You can use it once you're resurrected."
"Got it, Brother Kahn!" Goku nodded eagerly. Under King Kai's guidance, his strength had improved, but he still lagged behind Kahn.
"Train Gohan too when you have time. We Saiyans are a warrior race; we shouldn't focus only on academics," Kahn advised.
Goku nodded, absorbing Kahn's advice.
Meanwhile, Vegeta was also training tirelessly.
After leaving Namek, Vegeta secluded himself on an unknown planet, dedicating himself to rigorous daily training. Witnessing Kahn's Super Saiyan transformation had ignited Vegeta's competitive spirit.
He aimed to achieve Super Saiyan status and surpass Kahn upon returning to Earth.
…
Half a month later, Bulma gathered the Dragon Balls and revived Goku. Since Goku was back on Earth, he wasted no time taking Gohan to Kahn's gravity training room daily for intense training sessions.
As time flew by, Goku and Gohan's strength visibly soared.
Nearly four more years passed.
Beerus's Planet.
"System sign-in."
[ Ding! Congratulations on completing your daily sign-in and receiving a reward: 30 million combat power boost card. ]
[ Ding! Congratulations on seven years and seven months of continuous sign-ins and receiving a reward: 0.5-second Time Skip skill. ]
"A 0.5 second Time Skip skill? Not bad."
With Kahn's current strength, the 0.5 second Time Skip skill wasn't a game changer. After five years of training with Whis, Kahn had achieved Super Saiyan Blue status, rivaling Goku's post-Tournament of Power power levels.
Whether or not he possessed Time Skip, Kahn's satisfaction remained high regardless.
[ Host: Kahn.
Age: 32 years old.
Bloodline: Advanced Saiyan bloodline.
Combat power: 553 Billion (powered up)
63 million (base).
Skills: Breathing Control, Flying Technique, Infinite Energy, Ultra Ego, Time Skip, Instant Transmission. ]
Reviewing his latest status panel, Kahn noted his significant growth under Whis's tutelage.
Had he trained alone on Earth, his progress might have paled in comparison.
Feeling more self-assured than five years ago, Kahn exuded a newfound maturity and confidence.
…
"Mr. Kahn, starting today, I plan to teach you a technique that is unique to the gods, called Ultra Ego" Whis said amiably by the tranquil lake on Beerus's planet.
He tapped his angel staff on the ground and a screen showed up. He began showing Khan what Ultra Ego looks like and what it is.
After five years of intense training under Whis's tutelage, Kahn had proven himself ready for advanced techniques.
"Ultra Ego? I think I have grasped it already." Kahn asked surprised
"Hmm, you're familiar with Ultra Ego?" Whis raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Kahn's knowledge of divine skills typically known only to gods.
"Given your unique fighting style, Ultra Ego would be most suitable," Whis said
Kahn's face lit up with understanding. "Ultra Ego…"
In an instant, a surge of potent energy emanated from Kahn's body. Purple lightning crackled around him as his black hair turned a vibrant shade of purple. His expression shifted from determined to fierce.
"Is this Ultra Ego? " Kahn said proudly. It was a form focused purely on combat, driven by the thrill of battle and the desire to push his limits.
Whis observed Kahn's transformation with widened eyes. "Ah, so it's really Ultra Ego. You seem to have grasped its essence quite naturally."
Applauding Kahn's achievement, Whis continued, "Impressive, Mr. Kahn! Your talent exceeds my expectations. You've clearly adapted well to Ultra Ego."
Kahn shrugged modestly. "Your guidance has been invaluable. Without your training, I wouldn't have made such strides."
"Hehe, you give me too much credit," Whis chuckled lightly. "Teaching someone with your potential has been a rewarding experience."
After their exchange, Whis sighed contentedly. "Since you've already mastered Ultra Ego on your own, there's little more I can teach you."
"In recognition of your mastery, I hereby declare you my student."
Kahn bowed respectfully. "Thank you, Whis, for all your guidance these past five years. I owe my progress to you."
Whis helped Kahn to his feet with a serene smile. "No need for such formality. Now, would you like me to take you back to Earth?"
"Before returning, I'd like to visit a specific place. Could I borrow your Shuttle Cube?"
The place in question was Planet Vampa. With Ultra Ego and unlimited energy at his disposal, Kahn sought out the Legendary Saiyan Broly.
"Of course," Whis replied, summoning the Shuttle Cube from his Angel staff. He didn't pry for details, respecting Kahn's personal quest.
"Thank you," Kahn said gratefully. After a brief tutorial on how to pilot the Shuttle Cube, Kahn set course for Planet Vampa.
In an instant, the Shuttle Cube whisked Kahn away from Beerus's planet, traversing the vast expanse of the universe toward the remote and desolate Planet Vampa.
…
Planet Arlia
A spaceship burst through the atmosphere of Planet Arlia, turning into a fiery meteor as it zoomed toward the solar system. Inside the spaceship, Vegeta's confident smile was reflected in the window as he stared at the stars. His heart pounded with a mix of nerves and anticipation.
He was heading back to Earth to settle a score.
"Kahn, I will show you who the strongest Saiyan is!" Vegeta declared to his reflection. "You can transform into a Super Saiyan and now I can too!"
After five years of grueling training, Vegeta had achieved the Super Saiyan form. Confident and determined, he aimed to defeat Kahn and reclaim his pride as the Saiyan Prince.
…
Earth, Kahn's Home.
Vados was enjoying breakfast when her Angel staff lit up. She answered, revealing Whis on the other end.
"How did the Khan's special training go?" Vados asked eagerly.
Whis smiled. "The training was very successful. Kahn has left and is on his way back to Earth."
"Thank you, Whis. I promise I'll make you a delicious meal," Vados promised, feeling a flutter of excitement at Kahn's impending return.
Vados had resisted visiting Kahn during his five-year training. Now, her mind raced with thoughts of their reunion. How much had Kahn changed? Did he miss her? She wanted to see him immediately.
Whis interrupted her thoughts. "There's one more thing. Kahn's progress exceeded my expectations. He learned Ultra Ego on his own."
Vados was stunned. "That's incredible! Even Beerus struggled with Ultra Ego."
"Indeed. Kahn is exceptional," Whis agreed.
…
Capsule Corporation
After breakfast, Vados headed to Capsule Corporation to see Bulma. For five years, she visited daily to chat with Bulma and pass the time.
Bulma greeted her warmly. "Hello Vados, do you know when Kahn coming back?"
She is over 30 this year and and her parents are pressuring her to start a family even if she's in no hurry.
Vados smiled. "It should be soon, maybe today."
"Sigh… I can only hope."
Bulma hoped for the same, yearning for Kahn to return and marry her.
Meanwhile, Dr. Gero and Android 19 wreaked havoc on the island of Amenbo, drawing the attention of Earth's Z Fighters. Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo rushed to the scene.
Sensing the destruction, Vados suggested, "Let's watch some TV, Bulma. Kahn might come back while we're watching."
Bulma agreed, setting aside her research for the day.
…
Planet Vampa
[ Ding! The host signs in on Planet Vampa and receives a special reward: The Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline.]
[ The reward has been issued. Would you like to fuse? ]
Kahn pondered the system's query. "If I fuse the Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline, can I still achieve Super Saiyan Blue?"
[ You have two options: First, you can keep your current Super Saiyan form and continue to achieve Super Saiyan Blue by switching between your current bloodline and the Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline. ]
[ Second, you can merge your current transformation power with the Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline. This will allow you to transform directly into the Legendary Super Saiyan form with amplified power, thus achieving the ultimate form of the Legendary Super Saiyan. However you will no longer be able to transform into Super Saiyan Blue. ]
Kahn decided swiftly. "I choose the second option. Fusion."
The Legendary Super Saiyan bloodline, with its unmatched power, was far superior to his current Saiyan bloodline. Kahn envisioned himself wielding this power, ready to surpass even the mightiest foes. He had trained for this moment, and now it was time to embrace his destiny.
The most important thing is that The Legendary Super Saiyan should fit extremely well with his Ultra Ego and Infinite Energy.
