My College Teacher is My Children's Mom

Chapter 313 Honeymoon

「The next day.」

Zhang Yuxi woke up with a splitting headache. When she turned her head, she saw him.

"Honey?"

Lin Feng opened his eyes. "You're awake?"

Memories came flooding back, and a flustered Zhang Yuxi rubbed her head. Then she noticed the scratches on Lin Feng's body and gasped.

"Honey!" she cried out. "What happened to you?"

Lin Feng raised an eyebrow. "You don't remember?"

Zhang Yuxi asked in horror, "Wh-what do you mean?"

Lin Feng leaned in. "Need me to remind you?"

Zhang Yuxi panicked. "N-no, it wasn't me, was it?"

Lin Feng looked at her with a wry smile. "How about I help you recall?"

Zhang Yuxi quickly waved her hands. "No, no need, honey! I'll remember on my own..."

As fragmented memories returned, she suddenly widened her eyes and stared at Lin Feng in shock.

"How... How could I..."

Lin Feng smiled meaningfully. "Remember now?"

Zhang Yuxi didn't want to admit it... but the facts were undeniable.

Damn, is that what I'm really like?

She was completely at a loss. "Honey, I-I'm so sorry. I was drunk... I had no idea I would act like that..."

Instead of accepting her apology, Lin Feng decided to add fuel to the fire.

"You know, honey, I've known you for almost two years, and I never expected that deep down, you were actually..."

Zhang Yuxi immediately went into denial. "No! I'm not! I didn't! You're making that up!"

Lin Feng retorted, "So you're not going to own up to it?"

Zhang Yuxi covered her face and dove completely under the blanket.

Oh my god, I can't face anyone now!

A drunken mistake in the past had, ironically, led to their marriage. But because of it, Zhang Yuxi had sworn off drinking. It was safe to say she hadn't touched a drop since then. If she ever did drink, it was only a few token sips for show. Yesterday, however, was their wedding day, and she had been overjoyed. She had gotten drunk. She had memories of what happened, but her actions had been completely disconnected from her brain's control.

Now I'm doomed. My image in his eyes must be completely ruined. So embarrassing.

Lin Feng patted her through the blanket. "Honey, come out. Aren't you going to suffocate in there?"

She'd rather suffocate than face the embarrassment.

Lin Feng was just teasing her. He was amused that even after three years, she was still so easily embarrassed.

"Honey, come on out!"

But then, he dove under the covers with her, making her jump in fright.

Seeing her face flushed beet-red, Lin Feng asked with concern, "Are you alright, honey?"

Zhang Yuxi shook her head awkwardly. "I'm... I'm fine..."

Noticing her darting eyes, Lin Feng leaned in and whispered something to her.

Zhang Yuxi's eyes widened. "Uh..."

He must be just trying to comfort me, she thought. How could anyone actually like that?

Lin Feng chuckled at her expression. "Come on, get up. It's almost noon."

Zhang Yuxi was stunned. "Almost noon?"

Lin Feng nodded. "Yup."

Immediately, Zhang Yuxi's heart sank. If she remembered correctly, they had returned to their room around six or seven the previous evening...

Lin Feng pulled her up. "Alright, stop overthinking it. Everyone's gone."

Zhang Yuxi froze. "Gone? What do you mean?"

Lin Feng smiled. "It means it's time for our week-long honeymoon."

Huh?

In reality, Lin Feng had woken up early to see everyone off. Seeing that Zhang Yuxi was still sleeping soundly, he had simply gotten back into bed for another nap.

Zhang Yuxi's legs felt weak, so Lin Feng had her rest while he went to run a bath. The following week was their private time.

Lin Feng turned off both of their phones. For one week, he and Zhang Yuxi would enjoy their own private world on the island.

She loved the daytime, and he loved the nighttime.

Daytime brought the sea, the sand, and the sun...

Nighttime brought uniforms, stockings, and endless pleasure...

「A week later.」

Zhang Yuxi returned to Yangcheng and resumed her teaching duties.

Now, almost two years later, Lin Feng, Liu Bo, and the others had long since graduated. With the enrollment of new students, the gossip about Zhang Yuxi and Lin Feng had also gradually faded away.

The moment she stepped onto campus, acquaintances she knew came up to offer their congratulations.

Zhang Yuxi was the type of person who could maintain a calm, unruffled exterior. In reality, no one knew just how shy she felt.

Back in the office, Zhang Yuxi handed out the gifts she had prepared for the other teachers, including wedding candies, cigarettes, and small red envelopes.

"Congratulations, Teacher Zhang! Best wishes!"

"We wish you a long and happy life together!"

"We have to get some of your good luck!"

"I'll give this to my niece later to encourage her to get married soon."

"And I'll give mine to my younger brother. The guy is over thirty and doesn't even have a girlfriend."

Zhang Yuxi was puzzled.

What is this all about? Am I some kind of good-luck charm?
