NOVEL NEXT Chapter 2: [2] Highschool
Waking up the next morning Alex took a quick shower and ate some of his snacks on the way to school.
He stopped at the gates of the school for a second and looked at it with a smile.
"This place is beautiful, to bad it's gonna get covered in blood and dead bodys soon but until then im gonna enjoy myself"
He walked around the school for a while until he managed to find out which class he was in by asking one of the teachers, Alex recognized her as the red hair woman who was one of the first to get bitten.
"This place is so fucking cool... to bad mostly everyone is gonna die" a few people looked at Alex with shocked faces but he ignored them and kept walking
Walking into his class Alex looked around until he saw Koharu waving him over.
"Hey Alex whats been going on, it's like you've been forgetting things"
"It's somethin like that, hopefully it doesn't get worse though huh"
Alex and Koharu talked for a little while until the teacher got there, he had gotten to know Koharu pretty well after a night of gaming and felt fine talking to him.
Alex ignored pretty much most of the class until lunchtime, he gave Koharu an excuse and left him behind to explore the school.
"I wonder where the main characters are hiding, from what I can remember most of them are annoying but Saeko was somewhat ok, though it wouldn't hurt to find them"
Alex wonder around the school for a while and even checked the rooftop but no one was there, he gave up and went back to class but wanted to check out the kendo club after school.

"Hey Alex you wanna go to the gaming cafe again"
"No not today, I was thinking about checking out the kendo club"
"Ohhh" said Koharu with a smirk on his face "Are you gonna try to join to get close to the thorned flower"
"Huh?"
"You know Saeko Bushima, plenty of people joined the kendo club to try and get close to her but were all beaten before they could even speak to her"
"Oh, then I guess it something like that, but it would be cool to try and learn some kendo"
"Alright then, good luck" said Koharu laughing
Alex walked to the opposite side of the school and into a large room with wooden tiles covering the walls, seeing no one inside Alex walked in and started checking the place out.
"Are you here to join or just look around" said a cold female voice from behind Alex
Startled Alex turned around and saw who he's been looking for, the purple haired busty swordswoman.
"I was thinking about joining, but didn't know if I should"
"Well then, how about a spar to see if you can handle it"
She threw him a sword and walked to the fighting pad before assuming a stance.
Letting out a deep sigh Alex nervously walked over to the pad and sloppily tried to copy her stance.
"When do we sta-"
Before Alex could finish she charged him, Alex was caught off guard so by the time she reached him he was wide open.
She swung the sword towards his leg, but Alex barely managed to dodge by jumping to the side.
He landed on the ground but before he could stand up the wooden blade was coming towards him, without thinking Alex rolled towards her and grabbed onto her legs trying to pull her down. But before he could even knock her off balance, the blade struck him in the side of the ribs and knocked the breath out of him.
He let go and struggled to take deep breaths while she walked off the matt.
"Your technique is crude and sloppy, but you have good instincts though you don't know how to use them"
"So.. does that mean I.. pass your test" said Alex in-between gasps
"You can join, but don't expect to learn much starting halfway through the year"

Over the next two days Alex managed to make it through class and even met two of the main characters though only briefly he even join the kendo club for a day of practice until the second day, he sat in class watching the clock go down.
"Alex, why have you been staring at the wall for the past few minutes" whispered Koharu
"Oh just thinking about something... hey Koharu wanna ditch class"
"What... why"
"Just because"
Alex stood up while the teacher was looking at the board and quietly walked over to the door, Koharu watched him walk away and sighed before following behind.
"So Alex's why did you wanna ditch" asked Koharu as they walked down the hall
"Just was starting to get a little angshus and needed to take a walk"
"Oh ok, wanna get something from the vending machines"
Walking through the halls, Alex watched the clock counting down.

Sitting on the rooftop Alex and Koharu talked until, a loud scream echoed around the school. Glancing over the edge Alex and Koharu saw three teachers at the front gate, but one of the male teachers wan on top of the red haired woman while blood sprayed out in different directions.
"Oh shit" mumbled Alex
"Alex what is that" said Koharu in disbelief
"I don't know... but doesn't it look like those zombies from video games"
Alex watched as the zombies quickly made there way into the school while following the third teacher, and soon his voice came over the intercom but all that could be heard was screams and gurgles.
Koharu looked at Alex in a panic hoping for some reassuring words.
"Well if they're really like those zombies from video games, then we should get try to get out of here before it spreads, or we could wait up here until the panic stops and try to sneak out. What do you want to do Koharu"
Looking over Alex saw him froze in fear and decided to go with the second option.
"Though what we do need is some kind of weapons"
Just as Alex was talking to himself a panel appeared infront of him.

Looking over the missions Alex was excited, he walked over to the railing and looked out at the city.
"I can't wait to explore all diffrent kins of worlds" mumbled Alex with a wide smile on his face
