Chapter 10: ch10- a lesson(edited)
Here is the revised text:
In the grand, golden-hued castle, situated in the heart of Elanor, the capital city of the Nova Kingdom, Butler Diablo walked briskly through the opulent hallways. His polished, black leather shoes clicked against the marble floor as he made his way towards the master bedroom, phone in hand. The soft glow of the crystal chandeliers above cast a warm ambiance, and the sweet fragrance of freshly cut flowers wafted through the air.
As Diablo passed by the maids and knights, they bowed their heads respectfully, their eyes cast downward. The maids, dressed in elegant, black and white uniforms, curtsied, while the knights, clad in black armor adorned with silver accents, saluted. They returned to their duties once Diablo was out of sight, their soft murmurs and gentle clinking of dishes filling the hallway.
Upon reaching the bedroom, Diablo knocked gently on the door, the sound echoing through the room. "Your Royal Highness, it's me, Diablo," he announced, his voice low and respectful.
"Enter," a deep, tired voice replied from within.
Diablo opened the door, and a sliver of light spilled into the hallway. He entered the room, finding Aster, the ruler of the Nova Kingdom, sitting on the edge of his bed, rubbing his closed eyes. Aster's dark hair was disheveled, and his eyes looked weary, but his sharp jawline and piercing gaze still commanded respect.
"Master, it's the Pentagon," Diablo said, holding out the phone.
Aster took the phone, his movements slow and deliberate. "It's me, so talk," he said, his voice firm but tired.
The general on the phone spoke in a rapid, urgent tone, "We have unknown individuals close to the border from the 2nd princess's side. They are currently taking shelter in a cave to hide from the blizzard. After we got info from the CIA side that the shadow squad obtained, it turned out that they are illegal slave traders without a permit to sell slaves. At first, we thought about using a drone strike, but now we are in discussion about whether to do it or not. After voting, we reached a tie, so according to the protocol, we have to contact Your Majesty for instructions."
Aster listened intently, his eyes narrowing as he processed the information. After a moment of silence, he responded, "So it came to that. Give me a moment to think." He paused for 10 seconds, collecting his thoughts before continuing, "No drone strikes. Contact Task Force 141 to be ready, and call the Minister of Mana and Magic Affairs. Tell her to accompany me on a trip. Issue a country-wide statement about the possibility of accepting the first outsiders. Prepare my helicopter, and go through the records to see how many slaves are there. Prepare CH-47 according to the slave numbers."
He handed the phone back to Diablo, who took it with a nod. Aster stood up, his movements fluid and powerful, and began to dress in his official uniform. The uniform consisted of black and red stripes, adorned with golden accents and intricate embroidery. Grayfia, his loyal attendant, assisted him, her slender fingers moving deftly as she fastened the buttons and adjusted the fit.
"Diablo, tell the Prime Minister that Mission Fabricated Reality is a go. My code is November-8-Whiskey-0-10," Aster instructed, his voice firm and commanding.
"As you order, my lord," Diablo replied, his eyes cast downward in respect.
"And wake Milim up. Tell her we're going on a trip," Aster added, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.
Meanwhile, in a dark and damp cave, two young girls, Lena and Elle, were being held captive by slave traders. Lena, with her short, spiky blond hair and piercing red eyes, was shouting at the guards, begging them to give Elle something to eat. Elle, with her long, flowing silver hair and golden eyes, was weak and ill, her body trembling with each cough.
The guards, dressed in tattered leather armor, mocked and teased them, their cruel laughter echoing off the cave walls. One of them, a burly man with a thick beard, sneered at Lena, "You think you're so special, don't you? Well, you're nothing but slaves, and you'll do as we say."
Lena's eyes flashed with anger, and she launched herself at the guard, but he easily caught her and slammed her against the wall. Elle, seeing her friend in danger, summoned all her strength and kicked the guard in the stomach, but he barely flinched.
The guard raised his hand to strike Elle, but Lena intervened, taking the blow herself. The guard's fist connected with Lena's jaw, sending her crashing to the ground. Elle screamed in horror, rushing to Lena's side.
Just as the guard raised his foot to kick Lena,
Just as the guard raised his foot to kick Lena, a loud, echoing voice boomed through the cave, "Enough!" The guard froze, his foot hovering in mid-air.
Aster, dressed in his military uniform, walked into the cave, accompanied by Task Force 141, including Captain John Price, John "Soap" MacTavish, Simon "Ghost" Riley, and Gary "Roach" Sanderson. They were followed by other soldiers, who fanned out, securing the perimeter.
Aster's eyes scanned the room, taking in the scene before him. His gaze lingered on Lena and Elle, and his expression darkened. He turned to the guard, his voice cold and menacing, "You're a hard man to find."
The guard, realizing he was outnumbered and outgunned, sneered at Aster, "You'll never take me alive!" He pulled out a knife and lunged at Aster, but the latter was too quick. With a swift movement, Aster disarmed the guard and pinned him to the ground.
Task Force 141 moved in, securing the guard and the other slave traders. Aster turned to Lena and Elle, his expression softening, "Are you two okay?"
Lena, still shaken, nodded, while Elle, tears streaming down her face, whispered, "Thank you..." Aster smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
Just then, a figure emerged from the shadows, placing a dagger at the guard's neck. "Move again, and your head is gone," he warned, his voice cold and menacing.
Aster's eyes narrowed, "Ah, Souei. Good timing." Souei, a skilled ninja, bowed slightly, "My lord."
Aster turned to Lena and Elle, "Now, let's get down to business. You two are coming with us. We'll take care of you, and you'll be safe."
Lena and Elle exchanged a glance, and then Lena spoke up, "Thank you... but what about our families? We have to find them."
Aster's expression turned serious, "We'll do everything we can to help you find your families. But first, we need to get you two to safety."
As Aster and his team led Lena and Elle out of the cave, the sound of helicopters echoed through the valley. The Nova Kingdom's forces had arrived, and they were ready to take action.
Aster turned to Lena and Elle, "Welcome to the Nova Kingdom. You're safe now."
