MMORPG: Rebirth of the Legendary TimeKeeper

Chapter 89: Alexandra Graham Bellimore

"Be mine," she said with all the seriousness she could muster, her eyes laser-focused as she waited for a few seconds.

Excuse me, what?!

"Don't you like… already have a fiance?" I was a bit confused. I didn't think she was into that stuff-

"Ah! No! I didn't mean it like that!" She corrected herself, her eyes glaring at me for misinterpreting.

Is that so? Don't worry about it.

"That ferocious look made me think I was about to lose my V-Card with you."

"…"

"…"

A few seconds pause.

"I said that out loud, didn't I?" I made a poker face, waiting for them to skip it as if it never happened.

"Hey, what do-" Silva, with great interest, was about to delve deeper into the topic but Alexandra one-upped her as she said,

"ANYWAY! What I meant was that none of the Bellimore or even other families know about your existence. Except for great-gramp, who wouldn't take interest more than knowing about you, and Silva, who already had you close enough as much as she needs."

"I want to maintain that secrecy, while you are my secret card. That is what I want," she said, slightly embarrassed with the previous conversation.

So she is not here as a representative of Bellimores but as Alexandra? That kind of works even better for me. I amused that thought before asking,

"All right. I understand that. But even then, you haven't told me what you want?"

Alexandra nodded before saying,

"I was just getting to that."

She pondered for a brief second, compiling her thoughts before she asked,

"How much do you know about my situation in the Bellimores?"

"You are the youngest of your peers, trying to gain a standing within the family. Your supporters are your father and your uncle, but honestly, they are just doting over you while their real intention is to help out your eldest brother. If I were to say, the only real supporter you got is your great gramps who may or may not see the next decade where your fight for the family privileges would be at the peak," I spoke what I knew about her situation before pondering a few more surfacing memories as I added,

"Currently, you are working in three directions to increase your total capital. One is Arcadia Online. The other is LabSims, a company that creates serum for superhuman strength. And lastly, Milana, a perfume brand that you started with your love for perfumes. As of now, both LabSims and Milana are going down the gutter, with your only hope left with Arcadia Online."

I did a lot of research in the past 3 days. Especially given the changes in the future that might have occurred. Though fortunately or unfortunately, things were pretty much the same for the Bellimores. I thought as I looked at Alexandra, her eyes observing me with a deep look.

Silva was giggling behind her, as if she already expected that much from me.

Truth be told, I know at least 3 times more information about her. Even more about the other Bellimores. But if I start saying more than necessary, I might gain unnecessary suspicion. I pondered as I looked at Alexandra nodding at my words before adding,

"Over that, I also currently am in a position where I might lose everything in the next 5 or 6 months. One year at the most. So, I need your help, especially in the areas where you shine the most."

She pondered before asking,

"How much do you know about the Arcadian Language?"

Everything.

"Only as much as I have told you. That language is quirky, and even what I did tell you is going to be hard to confirm. Your best bet would be Ezekiel… though honestly, that guy feels like a fraud to me. My guess is that he has some connection with the Arcadia company, or something? Otherwise, there is no explanation. Hmmm. That or he might have regressed or something with lots of future knowledge."

I spoke with slight amusement, at which they giggled and nodded.

"We think so too. That is why we aren't focusing on him as much as the guild's development. Ah! What's your in-game ID? And where are you in the game?" She asked as I answered,

"It's Kael, a half-vampire. Currently, I am on the Verda Continent."

Kael was my previous in-game name. It was short for Mikael and easy to remember. Same goes for the race that I had chosen. A pretty fun race to play with.

As for the Verde Continent, it's where most of the half-breed players start, especially the ones who are carrying demonic blood in them. Another reason I told them about the continent was that rare players would choose that continent, especially because the developers had mentioned its difficulty and cruelty to players.

Looking at the slightly depressed expression, she seemed not to like that answer. She pondered before saying,

"Well. Not much help to us, I guess? Though try your best, maybe you will do something that could help me out. In any case, that was the first reason. The other was about the recommendation and your future."

She once again collected her thoughts and then added,

"Silva told me about it, and I believe that you can easily get into Regalia. If I were to support you during those times, I would gain a lot. Plus, if you can achieve success within Regalia, I would have gained a valuable friend even. You can think of it as a future investment in your potential."

This matches in line with what I had concluded. But her tone makes me think that there is more to it than that. I looked at her. A small smile presented on her face as she observed me, her eyes filled with hope and desperation.

"Alexa wants you to take care of her in case she loses everything. While she was direct with me, I don't think she would be out in the open like that with you," Silva said, making Alexandra widen her eyes, turning to her with a deep glare.

Matches her expression and situation. Though I doubt she would need me once she succeeds in Arcadia. I mulled over it for a few seconds before asking Alexandra,

"Are you in that desperate of a situation?"

Alexandra turned to me, ready to correct herself, but as she looked at my serious face, she slowed down a bit. Then, as she began speaking,

"I… yeah."

She confirmed Silva's words.

A final back-up in case everything goes wrong. Well, it takes guts to say that to someone like me, somebody who is barely struggling to keep things together. I thought as I looked at my small room.

Things were really different from my past life. Never had I thought that I would be talking to Alexandra in my shabby apartment, where she would confide something like this.

"Well. If you are going to trust me that much," I thought before an amusing thought came to me. A slight smile as I wondered if she would like 'that'.

I then stood up and went inside my room, typing on my laptop as I tried to search for something. Something that might not change the situation for her, but keep her afloat for a little longer than half-an-year.

"Ah! Found it!"
