Miss Witch Doesn't Want to be a Diva

Chapter 47: The Radiant Holy Sword Descends

The orange flames burned the collapsed drapery, the scorched parts turned dark red, rapidly cooled, grew stiff and blackened, eventually turned into white ash in the wind and airflow, scattered throughout the night sky.

Fwoosh—

A Six-winged Flying Cockroach darted across the field of vision, tearing through the swirling currents, rushing towards the constantly moving figure within the firelight, the originally cotton-like white ashes shattered into finer particles and scattered.

In the center of the land, the area was relatively dark within the flames, gathered with numerous Wolf Blood Species, their eyes blood-red, wielding knives and slashing, occasionally a member leaped up, smashing the diving Six-winged Flying Cockroach with an axe, subsequently swarming it with a group of Wolf Blood Species, tearing and smashing it apart.

In the center of this chaotic battle zone, the Wolf Blood Queen stood tall, her figure seemingly facing the sky, beneath the massive form, sharp claws hung at her sides, droplets of viscous blood dripped, the formerly smooth skin now covered in coarse fur, as her striking red hair flared like a cape, gently lifting in the hot wind.

In her narrow eyes lay beastly ferocity, coupled with cruel arrogance, overseeing the enemies before her.

Within a radius of 20 meters from her and her opponent, not a single Wolf Blood Species dared approach, all gazed upon the queen dominating the grasslands with reverence.

"So many Autonomous Mechanical Bodies, you must've been plotting for more than a year or two." The purple-clad woman leaning on the Sword, barely supported, was subject to the mocking of the Wolf Blood Queen.

"How ridiculous, I suppose you're trying to replicate that night, twenty years ago, for me to taste the pain endured by the Butterfly Species back then, right?"

"However—" She glanced around, despite the sky still being filled with circling Six-winged Flying Cockroaches, the Wolf Blood Species within the King Camp had rallied by now, forming a sturdy line under her call and leadership.

These Six-winged Flying Cockroaches, no matter how agile, couldn't efficiently clear these gathered Wolf Blood Species like they'd harvest ordinary people.

"You're mistaken, I'm not some little girl like Molila, she was too naive and innocent, never even considered leading the Butterfly Species to expand their dominion and populace."

"You Butterfly Species have too many deceiving tricks, too many disgraceful deeds, such lowly means can only fool those foolish creatures, ruling the grasslands and the nation has always relied upon complete and absolute violence."

"So I say, both you and her aren't qualified." The Wolf Blood Queen, unsatisfied with mere physical dominance, even aspired to crush the opponent mentally, shattering the mental support the opponent long held.

"Shut your mouth."

The purple-clad woman's face was filled with anger, struggling to stand while leaning on the Sword, attempting to gather Magic Power again to battle.

Seeing the opponent unable to retaliate, only able to express resistance through such manner, the Wolf Blood Queen laughed heartily, the surrounding Wolf Blood Species joined in the mockery.

"Damn Butterfly Species!"

"Always been a bunch of liars and thieves."

"Only hiding behind others, playing tricks and schemes."

"Look beautiful, but what's next, still obediently playing into others' hands."

Various insulting taunts mixed in the battle, easing the tension among the Wolf Blood Species, some even felt a twisted delight.

Indeed, their camp suffered an assault, but so what? Born strong, the surging hot blood was the best evidence, regardless of what schemes the Butterfly Species conjured, they're nothing but amusing playthings.

"Shut up? Found your essence, have you." The Wolf Blood Queen easily blocked the opponent's attack with her claws, continuing to speak further.

"Don't you realize, in the past 20 years, no one missed the presence of your Butterfly Species, I prohibited you from living in the grasslands, but didn't bind everyone's mouths."

"Had there been anything praiseworthy back then, you wouldn't have come to this."

With one claw, she flung the laboring opponent away, then swiftly vanished, traversing the night sky, capturing the opponent with her right hand, pressing them into the ground, dragging them nearly ten meters across.

A long trail of blood was left on the ground, the purple-clad woman's backside was a mess of flesh and blood, numerous fractures across her body, when the Wolf Blood Queen released her fingers again, she could no longer rise, at that point the arm once gripping the Sword's hilt also weakly fell limp, collapsing to the ground.

Amidst the firelight, her vision blurred gradually, barely seeing the tall, fearsome figure turn indifferently away, thereafter, over a dozen fixed-wing figures descended from the sky, attempting to rescue her lying on the ground.

These fools... she wanted to stop them from rescuing her, yet at that moment she couldn't speak anymore.

The Butterfly Species displaying themselves in the sky, though casting Illusion Magic to bewilder, it was nothing more than flaunting in front of the strong and perceptive Wolf Blood Queen, like swatting mosquitoes, tearing apart several would-be rescuers among the Butterfly Species, crashing to the ground.

"Not an ounce of improvement, truly dull..." Clearing the Butterfly Species, the Wolf Blood Queen shifted her gaze to the constantly gliding Mechanical Flying Cockroaches in the night sky.

Too bad she lacked Flight Ability, else she'd have cleared them all long ago.

As she prepared to turn head to handle the chaos on the other side of the King Camp, her nose slightly twitched, then her eyes turned toward the distant opposing side.

On the ruin of the extinguished flames, a slender figure stood quietly, taking in the entire situation of the King Camp.
