Chapter 112 - Reminiscences Between Sisters_2
After speaking, some people present raised their hands first, while the other representatives looked around, hesitated a bit, and then also raised their hands.
In fact, these contracts have been negotiated many times. They are essentially versions that come close to their bottom line after much bargaining. Some large issues were also discussed before. The reason some representatives still disagreed was merely due to concerns about risks, or they wanted to see how others would decide.
Seeing more and more people raising their hands, the remaining ones couldn't help but follow suit, fearing they would be ignored if they were last, or they might offend the Songstress sitting on the stage.
After interacting for these days, they didn't think this seemingly gentle girl was as easy to fool as she appeared. They feared that if they raised their hands too late, it would be noticed and remembered by her.
About half a minute later, seeing the last representative hesitantly raise their hand, the members in the hall felt a sense of pride. Then, they quietly glanced at the black-haired girl in the Gothic dress sitting on the stage. Seeing her eyes still calm and clear, they felt a bit ashamed, thinking they still had some lack of composure.
After all, most people present were still students, and it was their first time encountering commercial projects involving hundreds of billions, even trillions, of dollars, so it was inevitable to feel a bit agitated.
No wonder their teachers often said that if possible, working beside the Songstress was far better than working in a company, be it for ideals or reality.
Lightly gripping the armrests, Tilan stood up, glanced briefly at everyone present, nodded slightly, then lifted her skirt lightly and bowed.
"Thank you all for your support." She then straightened up.
"I know many of you still have concerns, as many projects are quite a leap, and for many companies, it's their first time dealing with them. But you should also see the prospects and future possibilities within them."
"I can't guarantee that all these projects will be hugely successful, but persisting in them will ultimately be beneficial. If you really encounter unsolvable problems later, you can come to me, and I'll try my best to help solve them." This statement put many representatives who still had concerns at ease.
Although the Songstress girl herself didn't have much money, her personal influence was a tremendous political asset. With her assurance, even if the collaborative project suffered losses, they could receive assistance from other aspects, so they wouldn't be completely at a financial loss.
"Tilan, you have a kind heart."
"Thank you, Miss Tilan."
The representatives in attendance expressed their gratitude one after another, and then both sides signed various contracts and agreements. By the time this was done, it was already evening, so a banquet was held afterward.
At the start of the banquet, Tilan was still present, making a simple round and following through with the necessary formalities. Then she left early, as she wasn't accustomed to drinking. If she stayed at the banquet, these people probably wouldn't feel at ease.
"I'll leave the rest to you." Before leaving, Tilan asked some members to stay at the banquet for hospitality and maintain some order.
"Yes, President."
After returning to the mansion, the girl first took a hot bath, changed out of the Gothic clothes, put on a more comfortable nightdress, then sat in the study room and rested her eyes for a while before opening them to review the schedule records of recent days.
Although she vaguely remembered many things, since she hadn't experienced them personally, there were inevitably some omissions. It was still safer to check.
An hour later, after reviewing the schedule, Tilan closed the record board.
Temisia really was a workaholic. She barely had a break in these two weeks. Normally, she turned down all invitations from Ores, Audrey, and Shui Yanqing for gatherings. If they all didn't live nearby and knew she was indeed busy during this time, they might think she was deliberately distancing herself.
But perhaps it's for the best. If Temisia really met with these friends, it would be hard for the Songstress to lie to each other, which could lead to unexpected situations.
Just as Tilan was about to get up, take a walk in the wind, and then go to sleep, the door to the study room was knocked.
"Come in." She thought it was a maid looking for her, but she was surprised to see Geyin with silver-blue hair.
"Tilan."
When Geyin called her name, it was a bit timid, not like her usual demeanor.
"What's the matter, come over." The girl gestured for Geyin to come over.
Actually, the two were about the same age and height, and they usually got along well enough not to be so apprehensive.
Hearing the girl's gentle voice, Geyin visibly relaxed and felt happier. Such mood swings were rare for her before.
After coming to Tilan's side, Geyin first lowered her head hesitantly for a while, then took out a Chip Card from her palm and placed it in front of Tilan.
"This is the information you asked me to find earlier."
Hmm? Information I asked Geyin to find? The girl's eyes flickered, thinking it might have been something Temisia did.
"Yes, what exactly is stored in it again."
She began to recall if there was any related memory. It seemed she did recall a bit, but very faintly. Apparently, when Temisia asked Geyin to find the information, she wasn't very hopeful, just casually asking her to help. This girl always directed others with such ease.
"It contains news or information about organizations studying 'soul' and 'Angel Prototype'."
Oh, so Temisia had already started investigating this? The girl blinked.
"Any results?" Tilan took the Chip Card.
"Many organizations have delved into these, but they're all illegal and have been targeted by the Court of Judgment. Even if they're still around, they have disappeared from the internet." Geyin replied.
