Miss Witch Doesn't Want to be a Diva

Chapter 112: Memories Between Sisters

The breeze remained gentle, and when Tilan finished her conversation with Temisia, only five minutes had passed externally. To onlookers, the whole process seemed like the young girl had been staring dazedly at her reflection in the mirror.

After concluding the conversation, Tilan's life now included a new task: to investigate the mystic organization that Temisia had contacted back then in order to obtain further information and understand her own personal history.

However, this task was not urgent. To her, it could likely only be completed after graduating from university when she'd have enough time and energy available. Currently, unstable as a songstress, rashly approaching these matters would only expose issues unnecessarily.

After putting aside these thoughts, Tilan checked the time, then stood up and walked out of the meeting room.

"President Tilan."

The two people standing guarding by the door bowed their heads in greeting upon seeing her emerge. However, due to their heights, bowing their heads allowed them to glimpse the girl's profile just right.

Tilan was dressed in a Gothic-style dress today, with a black ruffled skirt adorned with subtle dark golden lace butterflies. Inside the wide cuffs was a trumpet flower-like white lining, accentuating the slender and delicate fingers, resembling a work of art.

Noticing the pair's slightly delayed reaction, the girl tilted her head with curiosity.

"What is it?"

"Ah, nothing." The two quickly shifted their gaze, panic stricken in their hearts.

Tilan only slightly shook her head, not pursuing what thoughts they might have had a moment ago.

Seeing Tilan continue to walk forward, it took the pair a few seconds to react and hurriedly increased their pace to follow, aligning their speed with the girl's.

What was going on today, we've seen President Tilan before, why were we so taken aback today, the two reflected.

Perhaps today, the girl seemed more 'vivid' than usual, or was it a different aura? The two summarized indistinctly in their hearts.

During this period, Tilan's methods were undeniably astute, even decisively ruthless. She intimidated partners harboring ulterior motives, deterred company representatives with dissenting thoughts, and punished employees who hid information, among other actions. Initially, there was concern among the Star Cluster that Tilan, being such a young songstress, might easily be tricked or used by these slick old-timers. But after several actions, everyone in the Star Cluster couldn't help but admire the young girl.

If it's said that a young girl might indeed be deceived due to a lack of social experience, a powerful songstress would inherently be a strong leader.

During negotiations, any chinks in your emotional armor, your lack of confidence, shifts in your emotions are all perceived by her, and before her, you almost inevitably expose your hand. In terms of business intelligence, even if she isn't knowledgeable herself, she could enlist multiple experts to gather desired information from various angles, filtering out false embellishments and deliberately concealed parts in the process.

The common challenge for leaders is that even with expert advisors, the information gap and trust issues can lead to distorted information reaching them, making it hard to make accurate judgments.

Even in such passive scenarios, if a songstress actively wielded her own infectious charm to persuade the other party, unless they're a High Rank Extraordinary One, it's hard for them to remain completely unaffected. However, this behavior would most likely be detected by the other party, and to avoid conflict, songstresses seldom used it frequently.

Riding the elevator to the fourth floor of the building, Tilan encountered the Documentation Department members who were preparing to set off.

"Good day, President Tilan." More than ten people stood up.

"Are you just about to leave?" Tilan noticed that they had already printed and packed the contract documents.

"Yes, we're about to depart," a member replied.

"Hmm..." Tilan thought briefly.

"Take me along, maybe they have some additional thoughts."

"Yes." Seeing Tilan joining them, everyone seemed a bit more excited and eager.

Soon after, the group arrived in a dedicated conference hall with great vigor. Unlike the small internal meeting rooms within the association, this hall could accommodate up to a thousand people.

Here, all the company representatives who had received the message had already arrived. Upon seeing the black-haired girl enter with her members, they all stood up.

"Good afternoon, Lady Tilan."

"Good afternoon, Miss Tilan."

"Greetings to you, Lady Hexia Tilan."

To this, the girl nodded in return one by one and then took her seat in the center of the hall, where only hers was the designated spot. The square stone-carved seat had a tall back adorned with entwined rose decorations on both sides, and these roses varied according to each songstress's style and title.

For instance, Tilan's chair had deep purple almost black leaves paired with light blue icy roses, while Audrey's featured silver leaves paired with greenish-white roses, and Shui Yanqing's had aqua blue leaves combined with pink roses.

After sitting down, the accompanying members distributed the printed and prepared documents to the commercial representatives for their review. Soon, a buzzing sound of discussions filled the air, which Tilan, sitting on her chair, did not interrupt. Instead, she waited quietly.

About ten minutes later, a member whispered in the girl's ear for guidance. With her subtle nod, the member stood up and approached the podium, turning on the microphone.

First, there was a round of applause to quiet the crowd, then he began speaking.

"You've all probably read the revised contracts and agreements by now. If there are no objections, please raise your hand, and we'll arrange the signing assistance. If you have concerns, please write your demands and submit them to the Star Cluster members on the side. They will bring them forward for President Tilan to address."
