Chapter 248: Chapter 248. Let's go and meet her!
I've talked with the Elders for a while, and what I learned was quite interesting.
First, we're the items that were given to me in exchange for my items.
One of them was something which I always wanted since it was so useful.
An Elytra!
When I asked what it was for, they told me that it was a safety item for children.
An Enderman is not good at teleporting from the beginning, it actually takes a lot of time and practice.
The wings helped the children have a second chance If they accidentally teleported into the Void.
The adults don't use it anymore, since it's less efficient than teleporting.
Nevertheless, I was still happy to get this item, and I couldn't wait to try it when I'll got the chance.
The second item was a device that gathered the surrounding energy in one place and stored it.
I was told that it wasn't a good idea for me to use it here, since the Void energy is harmful to the human body.
When I asked them what they were talking about, they told me to get my armor off to test it myself.
After a few minutes of staying without my armor, I felt like something was trying to take over my mind, so I quickly put it back on.
From what I was told, the Void energy was much thicker around the Ender Dragon, and only Noah could stay near her.
So, if I didn't build a body strong enough to withstand her presence, I wouldn't have the chance to meet with her.
That's just more stress added to the plate.
I also got a few more interesting items, but like the others, I couldn't use them yet, since the Void was a dangerous place to test them.
So I tried to ask the Elders what their opinion was about the Void, and surprisingly, they were neutral about it instead of hating it.
When I told them the situation of the Overworld, they looked very concerned.
"It's not that bad, since the 3 kingdoms are working together to get rid of them."
The others smirked at my remark, not expecting them to have the strength to fight back.
Which kind of pissed me off.
"Don't underestimate the people of this time. They have Iron golems, Netherite weapons, and Witches that can brew some dangerous potions. And that not including the kingdom from the Nather that is the most powerful faction."
They sounded impressed by what I said, but I still had to explain some things since they got exiled and didn't know about the Iligers, Witches or the Nether Kingdom.
I was then sidetracked with a rough history lesson on what happened after they left the Overworld.
"Wait, we don't have time for this. We have more urgent matters! Noah wants to make a world where The End and the Overworld can coexist. Do you think that's possible?"
The Elders looked at me and laughed out loud, taking me by surprise.
He said that as he was showing me the floating islands.
"Then what do you think Noah wants to do?"
He had so many chances to talk with the System.
He managed to send my body into the Overworld without a problem, he could've sent a Monster Lord of his to communicate with the System if he wanted to.
But most importantly, why was he trying to do something now when the System was gone?
Was I looking too much into it?
"How much do you know about the Crystals?"
That was good to hear, so I placed the Crystal in front of me, which took them by surprise.
"Oh, you don't know about this? So the System was kind of impressed with the achievement you did and made a craftable Crystal that it's easier to use. You can look at it if you want to, just be careful not to hit it, or it will explode. "
They all gathered around and studied with great enthusiasm for a few good minutes, and they hadn't even opened its system yet.
They looked like excited kids with a new toy and could barely hold themselves from giggling with excitement.
Finally, after a few more spins, someone placed his hand on it and began creating something.
Just like that, a purple bunny appeared in the world.
I say a bunny, but it looked a little different from the ones in the Overworld.
This one was bigger and had black eyes with wings on its back.
It was quite creepy to see.
The others were socked as well from what I could tell, but I didn't know if my guess was right since I couldn't hear their telepathically conversation.
In the end, I had to wait for all of them to try, which took around an hour.
But at least it was entertaining to watch.
I saw someone try to create a huge diamond block, but it had a paller blue then normal.
Another one tried to make a white Enderman, but the other stopped him quickly and killed it since it would create some problems if the youngsters saw it for some reason.
But by the end, everyone was impressed by my Crystal.
This made me blush a little since I used them as bombs most of the time.
But I think it's better if I didn't tell them that.
"I wouldn't say that I'm that good, I only have little experience with them. The only thing that I can do is to change the properties of an existing block to something else."
"The Fake System you created and recently Noah."
When I said Alexa's name, they all froze in place like deer in a headlight.
"I'm actually the only one who has access to it, and it's now the God of the Nether and the reason the Overworld is still safe."
It was quite funny to see how their jaw dropped in shock.
It was almost as entraining as seeing Bobby's reactions when I told him about my stories.
Unfortunately, I didn't know when Noah would bring me back so I had to quickly change the subject.
"Well anyway, I now have to meet the Ender Dragon, but my body won't survive the encounter. And while I know that Noah could solve that by making me a new body, I don't trust him that much, since he could have more control over my body."
The more I talked the more confused they seemed, and I was beginning to wonder if they couldn't understand what I was talking about.
Oh boy, how much should I tell them?
I won't tell them about the fall of the System since that would be too much of a shock.
I'll tell the short version of how I came here in the first place.
After another half an hour, I managed to tell them the essentials and how important it was for me to learn how to make my own body.
"That's rude, I've done some good deals as well."
They're shocked with only this? It was a good thing I didn't tell them the whole story.
The other Elders got closer to me and began to give me some books that had their own research about the use of the Crystal.
I took out my mace and let the Elder see it.
He took it and looked at it through the Crystal.
"What are you talking about?"
The Elder looked closely at some graphics then back at me.
That was an interesting piece of information, and it was good to know.
I should keep it out as much as possible then.
Plus the free energy is always welcomed.
That sounded very important, but it wasn't that big of a problem for me.
"Don't worry, I've already seen the shape of my soul becouse of a ritual. Not the most pleasant experience, but I was a prisoner so I didn't have a choice."
The others stood in silence and looked at me like I just told then the sky was red.
Was it really that shocking that I knew the shape of my soul?
"And what's the next step?'
Ok, I think I can arrange that with Alexa.
"I understand the principle, can you show me how to make a body resistant to the Void?"
Suddenly, I felt my guts being pulled, and the scenery changed.
I was now back into Noah's island, where the owner stood outside the chains with a big smile.
Good news! I found a way where you can talk with the Ender Dragon.
Let's go and meet her!
