The situation abruptly shifted from besieging the Takean team to the teams of Bakugo Katsuki, Todoroki Shoto, and Shoji Mezo all turning against the team led by Midoriya Izuku.

However, anyone familiar with Class 1-A could probably guess the final result of this match.

While Shoji Mezo, Mineta Minoru, Tsuyu Asui, and Toru Hagakure are competent, their combined strength averages out to just about mediocre.

As for Izuku Midoriya, he was typically in the lower ranks due to his inability to fully control *One For All*.

But with the inclusion of Yoarashi Inasa and Itadori, both exceptionally strong, along with Ochako Uraraka's capable support, their team managed to offset Izuku's shortcomings.

After a fierce battle, Midnight finally announced the end of the match.

"The Cavalry Battle is over!"

Exhausted and crouched behind Shoji Mezo, Tsuyu Asui heaved a deep sigh, "What a shame!"

Yes, their group had been eliminated.

"Now, let me announce the teams that will advance to the final round!"

Present Mic's voice boomed, and pictures of the advancing teams appeared on the big screen:

**First Place:**

- Itadori

- Momo Yaoyorozu

- Kyoka Jiro

- Mei Hatsume

**Second Place:**

- Todoroki Shoto

- Tenya Iida

- Denki Kaminari

- Kento Ichika

**Third Place:**

- Izuku Midoriya

- Yoarashi Inasa

- Ochako Uraraka

- Tokoyami Fumikage

**Fourth Place:**

- Bakugo Katsuki

- Eijiro Kirishima

- Sero Hanta

- Mina Ashido

Bakugo's eyes were bloodshot, his teeth grinding audibly as he glared at the results.

"I didn't even make the top three? Behind Midoriya?!"

Meanwhile, Jiro stared in disbelief at her placement in the first-ranked team, "What? We actually won?"

She felt as though she had barely contributed, yet here they were, securing first place.

"Now, let's move on to the final event: the one-on-one elimination match!"

Midnight brought out a lottery box and announced, "Based on the rankings, teams will draw lots to decide matchups!"

"One-on-one elimination?" Uraraka blinked in surprise.

"Though the specific events vary each year, the finals are always one-on-one competitions. Last year, it was soft fencing." Iida explained.

After the lottery process was complete, Midnight raised her right hand dramatically.

"Here are the results of the one-on-one elimination matchups!"

The battle table appeared on the big screen, and Midoriya's face turned pale as he saw his opponent.

**First Match:** Izuku Midoriya vs. Shoto Todoroki

**Second Match:** Denki Kaminari vs. Eijiro Kirishima

**Third Match:** Hibiki Mikio vs. Mina Ashido

**Fourth Match:** Yoarashi Inasa vs. Hanta Sero

**Fifth Match:** Bakugo Katsuki vs. Kento Ichika

**Sixth Match:** Tenya Iida vs. Mei Hatsume

**Seventh Match:** Itadori vs. Tokoyami Fumikage

**Eighth Match:** Ochako Uraraka vs. Kyoka Jiro

From the stands, All Might swallowed hard as he scanned the matchups.

"The first match... against Todoroki? This will be tough for young Midoriya."

"The rules are simple." Midnight explained, "Push your opponent out of the arena, render them unable to fight, or make them verbally surrender to claim victory!"

"To prevent any accidents, there will be supervisors and Recovery Girl standing by outside the arena!"

Midnight's final announcement marked the start of a lunch break before the afternoon matches began.

While most of the students headed to the cafeteria, Momo scanned the area but couldn't spot Itadori. She frowned in concern.

In the Shade Outside the Stadium.

Itadori stood silently in a patch of lawn, Petra perched on his right shoulder. The bird's piercing gaze locked onto three men in black suits exiting the stadium.

Leading them was the Number 3 Pro Hero, Hawks.

"What do you want?" Itadori asked indifferently.

"Relax." Hawks replied lazily, his tone casual as ever, "First, some good news. Based on your stellar performance in the sports festival, the Hero Association has decided to *temporarily* call off the hunt for your pet bird."

"Temporarily?" Itadori chuckled, raising his right hand. A scarlet feather was pinched between his thumb and index finger.

Hawks' expression changed instantly. His eyes darted to his wings, realizing one of his feathers had been taken without him noticing.

'When did he…?'

Itadori flicked the feather back, and it darted into Hawks' wings as if it were alive.

"What a terrifying Quirk you have." Hawks muttered, forcing a smile.

"Get to the point." Itadori said flatly.

Hawks sighed and tossed him a plane ticket.

"There's been unrest in that area lately. Investigate it for us. The target's identity is sensitive, so sending a Pro Hero isn't an option."

"What's in it for me?" Itadori countered.

Hawks stroked his chin, "How about we permanently cancel the wanted notice for your bird and overlook your past... transgressions?"

Itadori pretended to tear the ticket in half.

"Wait, wait! Calm down!" Hawks raised his hands defensively, "It's a great deal! Otherwise, you'd be looking at a decade in prison."

After a moment of thought, Itadori pocketed the ticket. Hawks, satisfied, departed with the Hero Association agents.

Less than five minutes later, as Itadori reclined under the tree, Petra suddenly launched an icicle, shattering several trees nearby.

The chilling air heralded the arrival of three students in U.A. uniforms—two men and one woman.

"What a terrifying bird. Is it a Quirk user too?" One of the male students asked, his beady eyes fixed on Petra.

"Ah, your eyes are scary. You should try to be gentler!" The blue-haired girl teased as she sipped tea.

Petra's glare remained unchanged.

"We're third-years." The beady-eyed student explained, "We saw your match earlier—very impressive."

"Yes! So exciting!" The blue-haired girl clapped her hands, brimming with enthusiasm, "What's your Quirk? Tell me, tell me!"

Itadori sighed, barely recalling their names. He waved them off dismissively.

"I'm going to sleep."

But the blue-haired girl leaned closer, ignoring his rejection.

Her persistence was met with a sudden flash—Petra swooped forward, aiming for her face.
