Chapter 10: Vs Todoroki's Team!

The whistle echoed across the stadium, and the arena erupted into chaos. Teams surged forward, each aiming to claim the coveted headbands and secure their victory. Among them, Team Monoma stood poised, a coalition of cunning and strength: the tactician Neito Monoma, the level-headed Itsuka Kendo, the resilient Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, and the resourceful Ibara Shiozaki.

At the opposite end of the battlefield, Team Bakugo stormed forward with explosive energy. Katsuki Bakugo, the volatile leader, barked orders, "Move it, move it! I'll kill them all and grab those ten million points!" His teammates—Eijiro Kirishima, Mina Ashido, and Hanta Sero—executed their roles seamlessly. Kirishima's unyielding defense, Sero's binding tape, and Ashido's corrosive acid created an unstoppable onslaught.

Meanwhile, the strategic Team Todoroki focused their sights on Team Midoriya, the bearers of the ten million-point headband. Shoto Todoroki, the icy prodigy, led Momo Yaoyorozu, Tenya Iida, and Fumikage Tokoyami. A sweeping wave of frost from Todoroki immobilized several teams, freezing their movements mid-step. Gasps and cheers erupted from the crowd as opponents scrambled against the icy tide.

"Now what?" Tetsutetsu's voice broke through the tension surrounding Team Monoma.

A confident smirk stretched across Monoma's face. "Everyone's eyes are on Endeavor's son, right? What if we shattered the pride of Class 1-A instead?" His words, laced with arrogance, galvanized his team. They nodded, determination lighting their gazes.

Using Ibara's vine-like hair, the team crafted shields to deflect incoming attacks as they approached Todoroki's team. Todoroki, recognizing the threat, issued a command. "Kaminari, now!"

Yaoyorozu, quick on the uptake, created an anti-conductive blanket to shield her team from Kaminari's electricity. Covered by her creation, save for Kaminari, the electric powerhouse unleashed a storm. Yellow sparks danced across the field, his hair rising with the charge. The arena glowed with the brilliance of his power.

But Monoma was ready. Reaching out, he touched Ibara's head, his blond hair shifting to a deep green hue. Vines sprouted from him, weaving a thick, web-like dome around his team—a sphere of dense foliage impervious to Kaminari's attack. Sparks fizzled harmlessly against the verdant barrier.

The stadium erupted in awe. "Unbelievable!" Present Mic's voice boomed through the speakers. "Is this real? Did Monoma just nullify Kaminari's electricity with a jungle?"

Inside the dark, leafy sphere, Monoma placed a hand on Tetsutetsu's shoulder, his skin gleaming metallic as he mimicked his teammate's ability. His body grew heavier, causing Ibara and Kendo to strain under the weight. "Sorry, just bear with me for two seconds!" he urged.

With a metallic fist, Monoma tore through the vine barrier. Leaves scattered like confetti as he emerged, his body returning to its normal state. "There you have it, folks!" Present Mic's excitement reverberated. "Neito Monoma from Class 1-B, the master of replication!"

The crowd roared with applause, enthralled by Monoma's audacity. His teammates, though exhausted, urged him onward. Kendo, her green eyes pained but determined, whispered, "If it's come to this, then you'd better grab that headband!"

"Of course!" Monoma's grin widened as he touched Ibara once more, green vines spilling from his head like a living cascade.

Todoroki scowled, throwing aside the anti-conductive blanket. "Yaoyorozu!"

"On it!" she replied, crafting a long iron pole. Handing it to Todoroki, he extended it with his right hand, freezing its length before slamming it into the ground. Frost spread rapidly, consuming the arena floor in a spectacle that left the audience breathless.

But Monoma wasn't deterred. His vines raced across the icy terrain, weaving through the frost. Though some froze and snapped, the greenery continued to grow, relentless in its advance. Monoma's face twisted with resolve, his green eyes gleaming with defiance.

Todoroki's jaw tightened, his gaze falling to his left hand. He could end this in seconds, engulfing the arena in flames, but a shadow loomed in his mind—his father's disapproving glare from the stands.

"Todoroki-kun!" his teammates called, fear etched into their voices.

But Monoma was faster. With a swift motion, he snatched the headband from Todoroki's neck.

The arena fell silent, shock rippling through the players and spectators alike. Gasps gave way to a deafening cheer. Monoma stood victorious, his triumphant smirk cutting through the tension. The stadium roared, and Present Mic's voice rose above the chaos.
