Master of Monster Synthesis

Chapter 264: Ais, The Correct Way to Use the Eight-Pointed Light Wheel_2

Qin Shou slipped the rings onto both hands and smiled faintly.

"Hmm, these diamond rings suit me just fine. Too bad I don't have a wife," he joked.

Bai Ke stared at the familiar figure, the hope in her captivating face fading into gloom once more.

"Qin Shou, so it's you."

Word had spread that Qin Shou had gone to Monster Planet. Even after a year, no matter how powerful the Vajra Nine Stars were, facing the endless army of mechanical monsters was just a recipe for disaster.

"You'd better leave quickly. If you're dragging us along, you're doomed."

Bai Ke had already given up.

Nan Xuewei also noticed the gravity of the situation and sighed. "Yes, you should leave. Don't throw your life away for the two of us."

Qin Shou lowered his head and looked at the two of them as if they were idiots.

"I said, stop flattering yourselves. Who said I'm here to save you?"

Bai Ke: "..."

Nan Xuewei: "..."

This jerk is still the same as ever—completely infuriating!

"Then why are you here? Loot corpses?" Bai Ke asked, speechless.

Qin Shou raised both hands, the diamonds on the rings glinting brilliantly.

He smirked: "I'm here to show you the true way giants fight!"

Bai Ke and Nan Xuewei exchanged looks, utterly baffled.

Since when did this guy become so conceited?

If you're here to rescue us, just do it!

Why are you giving us these ridiculous excuses?

This is sci-fi, not a melodrama, for crying out loud!

Nan Xuewei snapped out of it and reminded him, "The giant stone statue requires two people to activate. Can you..."

Before she could finish, Qin Shou's hands erupted with dazzling light, leaving the two utterly stunned.

"This..."

"He... he did it."

The increasingly radiant light made it impossible for the two to keep their eyes open.

And then, the ground shook as the brilliance receded.

Ais!

The Light Giant stood tall upon the earth, blocking the mechanical monster army rolling toward them, standing alone before the tide.

Qin Shou turned his head and spoke to the two, insignificant as ants before him: "Watch closely—this is how you use Ais!"

With that, he tapped his head, and light energy surged forth. A massive circular saw-like light blade materialized in his palm.

Eight-Pointed Light Wheel!

"Hah!"

With a soft shout, Qin Shou's figure transformed into a blur. His enormous stature betrayed no sluggishness; within the blink of an eye, he charged into the mechanical monster army.

"What's he doing? This..."

"This is suicide!"

Both women exclaimed in shock.

But what happened next completely shattered their understanding of reality.

Qin Shou wielded the Eight-Pointed Light Wheel, using it like a chainsaw. The moment he dove into the mechanical monster army, he sawed off the Tyrannosaurus Skull of a mechanical monster.

"Crack..."

The Tyrannosaurus Skull fell, and the surrounding mechanical monsters immediately pounced on him. The temperature soared as concentrated rays bombarded his position.

With a quick motion, Qin Shou pulled the still-standing T-Rex Body, using it to shield himself.

"Boom..."

As expected, the T-Rex Body exploded into a storm of flames, but Qin Shou had already escaped the blast zone, rolling deeper into the monster army.

"Sizzle, sizzle..."

The Eight-Pointed Light Wheel slashed and swept across the battlefield, grinding against the armor of the surrounding monsters, creating a storm of sparks. Those mechanical monsters whose defenses were slightly weaker couldn't resist the blade's deadly edge, their beast heads all falling to the ground without exception.

Ais lived up to its reputation as the most "bloodthirsty" of fragmenting fiends; its combat style certainly earned the title.

"Roar!!"

"Snarl..."

Another wave of energy attacks descended from above. Qin Shou flipped through the air, easily dodging the barrage and leaving swathes of mechanical monsters accidentally slaughtered by their "allies."

"Boom, boom, boom..."

Explosions rippled through the mechanical monster army, while Qin Shou burst through one side of the beast tide like a cannonball. The Eight-Pointed Light Wheel in his hand was unparalleled in sharpness, slicing through every mechanical monster in his path.

"Snarl!!"

In the skies, flying mechanical monsters locked onto Qin Shou's position and unleashed their long-range attacks without hesitation.

Not missing a beat, Qin Shou dodged their strikes and hurled the Eight-Pointed Light Wheel into the air.

Ultraman Beheading Blade!

"Whizz!!"

In the sky, the Eight-Pointed Light Wheel split into three, spinning faster as they transformed into three sharp beams of light that streaked through the heavens.

"Clang, clang, clang..."

A string of sparks erupted as one flying mechanical monster after another was sliced in two, their shattered remains crashing down, crushing scores of monsters below.

"Snarl..."

Below, seizing the brief moment after Qin Shou unleashed the Beheading Blade, the tide of monsters surged forward.

Qin Shou turned, clasped his palms together, and unleashed a dazzling burst of light energy. With sweeping motions of his arms, crescent-shaped light blades, fifty meters in length, slashed across the battlefield toward the mechanical monster army.

Vertical Beheading Blade!

Before the monumental light blades could even strike, Qin Shou's movements didn't stop. He sent out wave after wave of massive light blades in every direction.

Horizontal Beheading Blade!

Ring Beheading Blade!

Multi-Beheading Blade!

Beheading Blade—Shoot!

Cutting Rays!

...

From afar, everything around Qin Shou turned into a radiant cyclone of destruction—various beams and techniques flying in every direction, mercilessly slicing apart countless mechanical monsters. Firelight erupted in every corner, stretching kilometers away before fading into the horizon.

Bai Ke and Nan Xuewei witnessed this astonishing storm of light rays and techniques firsthand, their beautiful eyes filled with sheer disbelief.

"So this is how the giant stone statue should be used..."

"You learn something new every day. But we were the ones who found the giant stone statue first—why does Qin Shou seem to know more about it than we do?" Bai Ke asked in confusion.

Nan Xuewei seemed deep in thought. "Could it be..."

Suddenly, Bai Ke gasped, pointing toward the battlefield where three-colored light flickered intensely.

"Look, another giant! Qin Shou has a giant stone statue too!"

Under their stunned gaze, a myriad of light rays and techniques obliterated the mechanical monster army. Yet this was only enough to eliminate less than half of the horde.

And as those gigantic light blades finally faded, three-colored light soared skyward—a radiant figure descended from above, glimmering red, silver, and purple.
