Marvel : Strongest Siblings

Chapter 79: Marvel 79

The island of Rown erupted into chaos the moment the auction ended, its atmosphere thick with tension as the attendees spilled out. The floating platform where the auction had taken place now loomed over a battlefield of brewing rivalries and unsettled scores.

Whitebeard stood tall, his massive frame a monument to power and experience. The crescent moon-shaped blade of his naginata glinted menacingly under the dim light, resting casually on his broad shoulder. His piercing eyes locked onto Blackbeard, who stood several yards away, surrounded by his crew. Every breath Whitebeard took seemed to make the air itself heavier, laden with an unspoken threat.

"Marshall D. Teach!" Whitebeard's voice thundered like a tidal wave crashing against unyielding cliffs, reverberating across the battlefield. The noise of the surrounding skirmishes seemed to falter for a moment, drawn into the gravity of his rage. "You betrayed our family, killed Thatch, and dared to call yourself a pirate under my name. You thought you could run, but today… you'll answer to me!"

Blackbeard, standing amidst the chaos, looked up at the titan of a man before him. For a fleeting moment, his confident grin wavered, the weight of Whitebeard's words pressing against him like an impending storm. Then, as if to regain his composure, he let out his infamous laugh, though it carried less confidence this time.

"Zeha-ha-ha!" Blackbeard's eyes darted briefly to the surrounding chaos—the Marines clashing with pirates, the explosions, and the screams of combat. "Come on, Pops! Look around! This isn't the time for personal grudges, is it? There's a lot more at stake here than just us." His hand gestured broadly at the mayhem, but even his words couldn't mask the unease creeping into his voice.

Whitebeard's gaze didn't waver, nor did his steady advance. The words of his former crewmate rang hollow against the sheer intensity of his fury. With a growl that seemed to shake the heavens, he hoisted his bisento high, the ground beneath him cracking under the pressure of his haki.

"You talk too much, Teach!"

With a roar that could rend the sky, Whitebeard brought his bisento down with monumental force, its blade striking the ground. The impact wasn't just physical—it was a seismic event. The earth beneath Blackbeard and his crew quaked violently, the ground splitting apart as massive shockwaves radiated outward. Entire chunks of the battlefield lifted into the air before crashing back down, sending Marines and pirates alike tumbling helplessly.

"RUN, CAPTAIN!" one of Blackbeard's crewmates screamed, their bravado faltering in the face of Whitebeard's overwhelming might. But Blackbeard didn't run. He couldn't—not now.

The tremors subsided, leaving deep fissures in the earth, but Whitebeard was already charging forward, his massive strides eating up the distance between them. The air seemed to vibrate around him, a raw manifestation of his haki-fueled intent.

Blackbeard's grin returned, though it was strained now. He extended both hands, his fingers curling into fists. Darkness began to pour from his body like an endless tide, pooling around him in an oppressive cloud. "Zeha-ha-ha! Fine, Pops! If it's a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get!"

The ground beneath him blackened, consumed by his Devil Fruit powers. The air itself felt heavy as his darkness began to swallow the debris and dust stirred up by Whitebeard's attack. Blackbeard's crew rallied behind him, weapons drawn, but their faces betrayed their nervousness.

Whitebeard closed the distance in an instant, his bisento slashing downward with enough force to cleave a mountain. Blackbeard barely managed to intercept with a shield of swirling darkness, the collision creating a deafening explosion of force and energy.

Unlike the time at Marineford, Whitebeard is now perfectly fine, so Blackbeard who even lost to wound ridden Whitebeard is no match to him in this perfect state.

The two forces clashed violently, Whitebeard's raw power tearing through Blackbeard's darkness like a blade through fog. Each blow from Whitebeard sent shockwaves rippling across the battlefield, toppling Marines, pirates, and even some of the CP0 agents caught in the crossfire. Blackbeard's counterattacks were powerful but frantic, his darkness lashing out like the flailing of a cornered beast.

In this collision many small pirates died too, but neither party cared as they both fight.

"You're weak without tricks, Teach!" Whitebeard roared, his bisento glowing faintly with the manifestation of his haki. He swung it in a wide arc, forcing Blackbeard and his crew to scatter. "You think that fruit makes you invincible? You're nothing but a coward hiding behind stolen power!"

Blackbeard snarled, his grin twisting into a scowl. He raised his hands, summoning more darkness to engulf Whitebeard entirely, but the old man's haki-infused fist broke through, landing squarely on Blackbeard's chest. The impact sent him hurtling backward, crashing into a crumbling wall with a sickening thud.

As Blackbeard struggled to rise, coughing and wheezing, Whitebeard loomed over him like a vengeful god. "You took my son from me, Teach. And now, I'll take everything from you."

The clash intensified, with Whitebeard's relentless assault pushing Blackbeard to his limits. Around them, the chaos of the battlefield seemed to fade, all eyes drawn to the titanic battle between these two forces of nature.

But the Five elders seeing the commotion formed another plan

High above the chaos, the Five Elders watched from a hidden vantage point. Their faces were masks of fury and disdain, their eyes locked on Max's departing figure.

"He must pay for this humiliation," one of them hissed, his grip tightening on his sword's hilt.

Another nodded curtly, his gaze flicking to the CP0 agents at their side. "Eliminate the lesser pirates. Reclaim as many Celestial Dragons as possible. Show them why the World Government's wrath is to be feared."

The CP0 agents, clad in their imposing masks, bowed wordlessly before leaping into action. Like shadows, they descended into the fray, their movements swift and lethal. Every pirate they encountered fell swiftly, their skills unmatched. But the numbers on the island were staggering, and even the CP0 found themselves embroiled in a chaotic melee.
