Chapter 90: Chapter 86. The Path
Although the waves in the real world had already begun to subside, the repercussions in other dimensions were still palpable. Many Dimension Lords felt the emergence of a new realm and tried to determine who controlled it, or if it was a newly formed, unclaimed world.
The reactions from the most powerful Dimension Lords to this nascent realm varied. Dormammu of the Dark Dimension and Mephisto, ruler of Hell, took great interest in it. They were already looking for ways to locate this dimension and, if the opportunity arose, to seize it for themselves. Meanwhile, beings like Shuma-Gorath and Cyttorak showed no interest in this new world.
Thus, the appearance of the Void attracted the attention of many powerful entities, and Noah had inadvertently become something of a prize in their eyes. However, he was still unaware of the extent of interest he had sparked, as he was preoccupied with preparing for his outing with Gwen and Lissandra.
Returning to his villa via teleportation, he changed into clean, neat clothing. During the recent energy surge, his clothes had been covered with sand and earth stirred up by a powerful wind. At that moment, he had been focused on his staff and hadn't had the time to shield himself with magic.
"Much better," Noah sighed with relief.
Dirty clothing really did make him uncomfortable. Although with his powers he could use magic to stay clean, bathing had become a habit he didn't plan to abandon. Without a shower, he felt uneasy.
"Noah! Are you ready? Hurry up; it's time to go!" Gwen's voice sounded impatient, as this was her first trip outside the estate.
Today, she looked especially charming. A white blouse and mid-length black skirt highlighted her trendy and cute look. White stockings peeking out from under her skirt drew attention to the perfect shape of her legs. Small, tidy shoes completed her outfit, making her even more adorable.
Gwen carefully adjusted her blue hair, tied in spiral pigtails, her natural beauty needing no makeup. Now, this sweet girl looked at him with her big eyes, stirring affectionate feelings within him.
"Noah, it's time," he heard Lissandra's calm, measured voice as she descended the staircase.
His gaze lingered on her again. Lissandra looked elegant and refined. She wore a black dress with a belt, draped with a white jacket. The contrast between the black dress and her white legs emphasized her sophistication. Black shoes with low heels accentuated her delicate feet. Her golden hair flowed in gentle waves with each step, like a golden train.
Dressed like a true lady, Lissandra approached them. Gwen hugged her arm with a smile and, turning to Noah, playfully asked:
"So, Noah, what do you think of our outfits?"
"Lovely," he nodded, his eyes on the two beautiful women before him. In his eyes, they were the most beautiful in the world.
"Of course! It's my work!" Gwen declared proudly, lifting her head.
"Did you make everything yourself?" he asked, surprised, as he admired their clothes.
A few days ago, during a meal, she mentioned wanting to convert one of the rooms into a sewing workshop. Noah, knowing her passion for sewing, readily agreed.
Originally a doll, Gwen had absorbed a shard of Isolde's soul, gaining her memories and skills, becoming a skilled seamstress. Sewing had become her favorite activity.
After Noah approved her request, he called on Blitzcrank to help with setting up the room. Gwen shared her design ideas for the workshop, and Blitzcrank quickly got to work. He completed the setup in half a day, and the workshop was ready. It took longer than usual only because Gwen had adjusted the project several times. Now, after several days of work, she had made outfits for herself, Lissandra, and Noah.
"So, you made my clothes too?" Noah asked with a smile.
"Absolutely!" she replied proudly, folding her arms.
"Well done, Gwen. From now on, all our outfits will be in your hands," Noah praised her, seeing her waiting for his approval. He genuinely liked her work—the clothing was comfortable and soft to the touch.
After a brief chat, they finally headed downstairs, ready to set out. When they stepped outside, a new car driven by Lissandra awaited them.
"Oh, a new car!" Noah exclaimed in admiration.
In front of him was a sleek, powerful black vehicle with streamlined lines emphasizing its strength and dynamism. It was a Lamborghini Urus, an SUV from the renowned supercar maker (although such cars didn't yet exist in this time).
Noah had been considering getting a car for some time. It would allow him not to rely on his armor or teleportation for every outing. In battle, such means of transportation were, of course, indispensable, but for daily life, they weren't always convenient. Now that there were three people in his home, a good car had become a necessity.
Entering the black "beast," he ran his hand along its smooth body, pondering that one day he might be able to build his own vehicles. However, to do so, he would first need to establish his own company.
"Let's go, let's go," Noah said, taking the driver's seat first. The last incident behind the wheel was just a fluke. With his reaction time and coordination, if he focused, nothing of the sort should happen again. After all, he wasn't some "vehicle killer" cursed to wreck every car he drove.
"Let's go!" Gwen and Lissandra responded excitedly, taking the back seat. Gwen, full of anticipation, grabbed the back of the front seat, eagerly awaiting the ride ahead.
With the roaring engine, the black car slowly rolled through the gates. Noah glanced in the rearview mirror, noticing Blitzcrank waving to them with his massive hand from the balcony. Smiling at Gwen and Lissandra, who were also in high spirits, he gently pressed the accelerator, increasing the speed.
