Chapter 223: Chapter 223: Sparring Partner

Han Yu shook his head with a "tsk tsk", a smile gleaming in his eyes. Seeing his enemy in such a miserable state naturally brought him satisfaction. The phrase, "Mercy towards your enemy is cruelty towards yourself," resonated deeply with Han Yu, a belief he kept close to his heart. If negotiations were impossible, then the one to meet a tragic end would undoubtedly be the enemy.

Ultron and Quicksilver were, of course, familiar with Ebony Maw. When the latter had caused trouble earlier, Ultron and Quicksilver initially considered helping. However, upon seeing Han Yu observing the spectacle with keen interest, they realized he was toying with his opponent and decided not to interfere, each returning to their own tasks upstairs.

If Han Yu had to personally intervene, there was no need for them to worry. If Han Yu couldn't handle it, Quicksilver and Ultron might as well start picking out grave plots.

"How are we supposed to revive him? He looks so feeble right now; this won't do," Galacta said, glancing at Han Yu with a questioning look.

Wanda nodded in agreement. "This guy's turned into nothing more than skin and bones. Physically and mentally, he's incredibly fragile now. Even Pietro with a single tomoe Sharingan could handle him easily, let alone the rest of us."

Quicksilver remained silent, his heart aching. Wanda, you're my sister—why the endless jabs? Another metaphorical arrow to the knee.

Han Yu couldn't help but laugh at Quicksilver's pained expression. It seemed this joke would linger for a while. With a chuckle, he curled his right index finger and thumb, summoning a golden bean in his palm.

"A Senzu Bean will bring him back," he said lightly.

"Senzu Bean?"

Galacta eyed the bean curiously. She sensed no formidable energy from it; it merely looked shiny and appealing. But since Han Yu vouched for it, she trusted its extraordinary properties. After all, Han Yu's collection was never short of bizarre and wondrous items.

Galacta gestured toward Ebony Maw, signaling Han Yu to proceed. She was eager to witness the bean's effects.

Just as Han Yu moved to feed the Senzu Bean to Ebony Maw, Quicksilver stopped him.

"Wait. Let's activate our Sharingan first and see how he reacts," he suggested.

Clearly skeptical, Quicksilver couldn't believe he was the only one who had been startled before. He was convinced that anyone would be spooked by the sight of the blood-red Sharingan, and he wanted to see Ebony Maw's reaction.

Han Yu chuckled and nodded, not objecting. The others, seeing Han Yu's indifference, voiced no opposition either.

With a simple thought, their eyes shifted from single tomoe Sharingan to the Mangekyou Sharingan, the crimson glow vivid in each gaze.

Seeing the single tomoe Sharingan in Quicksilver's eyes, everyone except Han Yu exchanged teasing glances.

Quicksilver sighed, feeling slightly bitter but not overly upset. His companions' mockery was because now was the only chance they had. As long as they were Han Yu's friends, their progress in mastering the Sharingan would never stall.

Whenever they wished to train, Han Yu would provide effective methods, accelerating their growth rapidly. In time, they'd all become stronger. The opportunity to tease him would soon fade, so it was natural for them to seize it now. If the roles were reversed, Quicksilver would do the same.

Han Yu watched with an amused smile. He wasn't surprised by Quicksilver's single tomoe Sharingan. Among the five present, Quicksilver was the only one who had never focused on developing his spiritual strength.

Han Yu's mental prowess was unparalleled, thanks to the system-granted Eternal Divinity, elevating his spiritual force to its peak. Galacta, being a universe-level deity, didn't even need to train her spiritual power for it to be formidable.

Ultron and Wanda, one being a supercomputer housed in the peak body of a Dou Zun-level Sky Demon Puppet, possessed unparalleled mental strength. The other, a Sorcerer Supreme trained in illusion magic, naturally cultivated her mental prowess. With chaos magic as her foundation, her starting point was anything but ordinary.

In contrast, Quicksilver was the most unfortunate among them.

If it weren't for Han Yu infusing Green Lantern energy into the eye drops during the fusion process with the Sharingan, enhancing its effects for Green Lantern ring bearers, Quicksilver's Sharingan wouldn't have even stabilized. Without this, Han Yu believed that Quicksilver might have struggled to keep his Sharingan active for more than an hour.

After everyone activated their Sharingan, Han Yu stepped forward and tossed the senzu bean into Ebony Maw's mouth. The senzu bean dissolved instantly, transforming into a warm golden current that coursed through his internal organs.

His previously emaciated limbs rapidly regained mass, becoming even more robust than before.

Ganata watched in astonishment, exclaiming, "This is incredible! I've never seen any planet's medical technology achieve such efficiency!"

Her mind held vast knowledge of advanced technologies. If not for the cosmic tapeworm within her constantly interfering, Ganata would have excelled even further in the realm of science.

Han Yu simply smiled. Such reactions were commonplace for him. The senzu bean, his favorite medical tool, had been refined and modified, increasing its prominence. Whether it was a minor injury or a major one, Han Yu would rely on it, even using it as a snack out of boredom, since items from the general store were inexhaustible.

Soon, Ebony Maw groggily regained consciousness, his bleary eyes scanning his surroundings in confusion. Suddenly, sensing several gazes fixed on him, he looked up, and the bewilderment on his face visibly shifted to sheer terror.

"No, no, don't eat me! Don't eat me!"

The once-proud Master of the Mystic Arts scrambled backward, a sight that brought immense satisfaction to Han Yu.

Han Yu couldn't help but remark, "Not bad. Looks like those vengeful spirits really put the pressure on him. I was worried they weren't strong enough and was considering amplifying their power."

Though his words were harsh, none of the others found them inappropriate. Having known Han Yu for some time, they understood his character well. As long as one didn't commit heinous acts, being his friend meant access to boundless wealth and support. But for those who became his enemies and committed unforgivable crimes, Han Yu showed no mercy. In fact, he could be even more ruthless than his adversaries.

For villains, falling into Han Yu's hands was far worse than descending into the eighteen levels of hell.
