"Good job, guys!"

Excited Karuza High members returned to the locker room. The first obstacle had been cleared quite easily, but they were still very happy.

"Oh, you're back. Where did you go?"

Julian asked as Kiernan was already sitting in the locker room, sipping on the water bottle.

"I had the meeting. Came back, but since the fights were pretty much over, I didn't bother to walk all the way to the ring."

"We'll see who shall be our next opponent now."

Coach Jin said and focused his attention on the screen. The fight between Irio High and Kaito High was about to begin.

"Is everything alright? I felt that there was a high-level fight happening in the stadium."

Sabbath whispered to Kiernan.

"It has been dealt with. It was of no importance."

Sabbath nodded and then gave Kiernan some wet wipes, which he used to clean off the blood from his knuckles.

On the screen, Irio High and Kaito High entered the stage. The first match started soon after.

"In the finals, we're revealing our main fighters for the first time. Jonathan, Julian, and Kiernan. All of you will fight one fight."

"Better not slip, Kiernan. If you then lose, our school loses."

Julian said teasingly.

"Julian, don't tease him. It will be alright, Kiernan, you will do great!"

Julia cheered him on as he knew about his nerves and that he was always nervous before and during fights.

"I am not worried."

Kiernan took some white tape and started wrapping his knuckles tightly. When he was done, Sabbath checked the tape to ensure it was secure.

With the moments flying by, the matches came and went. It was closer between the two schools than most anticipated, but in the end, Irio High won by a narrow margin.

It went all the way to their last fighters.

After the fight, it was another thirty minutes of break. It was to give Irio High much-needed rest and recovery before the final race.

Some Irio High fighters were already injured before the finals, and Karuza High was in perfect health.

One didn't need to be a martial arts expert to know that Karuza High was easily the winning favorite.

The thirty-minute break time ended.

With Kiernan in the lead of the team, they left the locker room and got showered with the loudest amount of applause so far.

"Kiernan! Kiernan! Kiernan!"

The chants reached the open ceiling, echoing through the entire stadium.

"This is officially Karuza High's team for the upcoming nationals—Kiernan, Julian, and Jonathan are acting as the main fighters. Dominic and Julia, who participated in the first match alone, are reserve fighters!"

The commentator shouted into the microphone.

After they reached their bench, Irio High came from the other entrance amidst quieter applause. Their supporters were trying to cheer loudly, but it didn't amount to much.

They nervously made their way to their bench. Sat down quietly but couldn't help but look fearfully in Kiernan's direction.

Today, they have to cross an enormous mountain in their path.

"First fighters, take the stage!"

The referee shouted.

"Alright, Jonathan, you're up!"

Coach Jin patted him on the back.

About a month ago, he was suffering from a very serious flu, and it took him about two weeks to fully heal from it.

It really ruined his sleeping schedule and the state of his body. It took a lot of effort from him to return to his perfect condition.

He climbed up the steps and arrived in his corner at the ring. His opponent stood on the other side of the platform.

With the countdown, the referee waved his hand and started the fight. The two fighters met in the center of the ring and immediately exchanged blows.

With just a few moves, Jonathan took the lead and started pummeling his opponent.

If Jonathan hadn't gotten expelled from Irio High, he would currently be Irio High's ace and their strongest fighter.

However, in Karuza High, he was only the third main fighter. It shocked Irio High members very much, so especially since they had no idea who this Julian was.

It didn't take long for Jonathan to kick his opponent off the platform. It was another easy victory.

Jonathan clapped his hands and then walked off the platform to the surprise of many. He could've easily fought all the way, but it looked like Karuza High was planning to show all their fighters!

This excited many!

Julian high-fived with Jonathan and entered the ring with a smile on his face. He was the least known fighter here, but since he was Karuza High's number two, he must be immensely strong!

The fight started, and with a single punch, Julian explosively sent his opponent off the ring. The strength of the blow was shocking to everyone!

This wasn't the strength of some Martial Soldier!

"Karuza High has another fighter at least at Martial Fighter rank! This is shocking!"

"Oh my god, with Kiernan as ace, isn't Karuza High insanely strong?!"

"The winner, Julian Noah!"

To the audience's surprise, Julian also left the ring and high-fived Kiernan. Then, the young man everyone came to see stood up from the bench and made his way to the ring.

The expressions in Irio High's bench changed. Hopelessness.

"He has finally taken the stage! Kiernan Hunter, the ace of Karuza High!"

Clovis took the ring as Irio High's last fighter. He couldn't help but wryly smile. It was clear that he had no chance in hell to win.

'I can try to push him off the platform, but good luck with that…'

Kiernan moved to his defensive fighting stance. It had no openings. A perfect defense.

Clovis moved to his hit-and-run stance. The stance looked untrained and sloppy with more openings than Swiss cheese.

"Ready?!"

"Yes…"

Clovis replied.

"Yes."

Kiernan replied.

"Fight!"

Clovis gritted his teeth, strode forward, and thrust his fist forward, but Kiernan slapped the punch away and then swept his legs out from under him with ease.

He fell to the ground on his back, and then Kiernan brought his fist down, but he quickly rolled out of the way and stood back up.

'I-I can do this. I am keeping up with him!'

Clovis grinned and moved forward to attack, but then Kiernan's elbow landed on his jaw, rocking the brain inside his head, and then his eyes rolled back to his skull.

'I-I…'

Clovis collapsed on the ground, unconscious.

"The fight is over!"

"The winner is Kiernan Hunter, and the winner of the representation tournament is Karuza High!"
