Chapter 465: Suspects_3
[Shoe print number 18, mesh-bottomed sneakers

Weight: 180-190 pounds
Age: Between 33 to 38 years old.]
Four sets of shoe prints were found at the site where the corpse was abandoned, including the prints of the person who reported the crime and those of Enco Dumate. These two individuals can temporarily be ruled out as suspects. The remaining two sets of shoe prints are likely left by the perpetrator.
One of the shoe prints suspected to be left by the perpetrator matches the shoe prints found at the transaction site.
This indicates that the group who robbed drugs and two hundred thousand US dollars that day is the same group that killed Harry Sabo.
This is intriguing. They could have killed Harry Sabo on the day of the robbery, yet they didn't take action and instead killed him several days after the robbery. It seems somewhat redundant.
What sort of conflict exists between them?
This also shows that Luke's line of investigation is correct; Harry Sabo's death is closely related to the robbery case.
Luke also thought of Little William Moses, who bought drugs from Harry Sabo and Enco Dumate.
This person's behavior made Luke feel a bit suspicious. Firstly, he dared to conduct the transaction alone, which is rarely done due to the high risks involved.
Secondly, aside from Harry Sabo and Enco Dumate, Little William Moses is the only one who knew the time and place of the transaction.
Is it possible that he wanted to orchestrate a black-on-black crime, collaborating with others to stage an act of self-infliction?
Luke felt it necessary to focus the investigation on Little William Moses.
...
Demar Community.
Through investigating Little William Moses's information, Luke found his residence.
Because Little William Moses is suspected of drug trafficking, Luke's tech team tracked his phone, and the location matched his residence.
Luke parked his car by the roadside to observe for a while but didn't see Little William Moses, only noticing a white woman in her fifties or sixties coming in and out of the house frequently.
Luke glanced at his watch; it was already two in the afternoon. He decided not to wait any longer.
He sent men to surround the house, intending to proceed with politeness first, followed by force if necessary.
Luke and Jackson got out of the car and walked to the door of Little William Moses's house. Luke greeted first, "Madam, good afternoon."
The woman sized the two up, "Good afternoon, I don't think I've seen you before."
Luke smiled, "I'm a friend of Little William Moses; is he home?"
"Yes, he's home. But you don't seem like his friends.
I've seen some of his friends, and they're terrible."
"Thank you for the compliment, Madam." Luke flashed his badge, "LAPD, we're investigating a criminal case and would like to ask him about some matters."
"Oh my God, you're finally here." The white woman revealed an expectant look.
Luke was somewhat puzzled by the woman's attitude, "Madam, what's your relationship with Little William Moses?"
"I'm his mother."
"We'd like to talk to Little William Moses."
"Of course, I'll take you in right away." Mrs. Moses invited the two into the house.
Both Luke and Jackson were somewhat puzzled. Luke signaled to the colleague stationed outside and cautiously entered the house.
As soon as they entered, Mrs. Moses shouted loudly, "William, my dear baby, you've finally come around. I'm proud of you."
A person sitting on the couch in the living room stood up with some difficulty, slowly turning around, "Mom, what are you up to now? Why did you bring strangers in?"
Luke was taken aback upon seeing the man. The man's face and shoulders were wrapped in white bandages, and he moved slowly, apparently injured.
Luke showed his badge, "LAPD, who are you?"
"Little William Moses." The bandaged man looked wary, "You don't know my name, so why are you at my home?"
Luke shook his head, "It's not that I don't know your name, but half of your face is covered in bandages, so I need to confirm."
Mrs. Moses slightly frowned, "Hey, baby, weren't you the one who reported the case? I thought they were here to investigate your injury case."
Little William Moses shrugged, "No, I didn't call the police.
Officers, is there something you need?"
"We're investigating a criminal case and want to ask you about some matters."
"What case?"
"Do you know Harry Sabo?"
"Yes, what happened to him?"
"What's your relationship?"
"There's no particular relationship, just acquaintances."
Luke probed, "When was the last time you saw each other?"
"I can't remember."
Luke changed the question, "How did you get injured?"
"Can I not answer that?
Or can you specify why you're at my home? I'm not really in the mood to entertain you right now.
If there's nothing else, please leave."
Luke got straight to the point, "Harry Sabo is dead."
Little William Moses exclaimed, "When?"
Luke took the opportunity to ask, "March 2nd evening, where were you?"
"You don't suspect me of killing him, do you?" Little William Moses laughed as if hearing the funniest joke,
"Even if I wanted to kill him, I wouldn't have the capability.
On the night of March 1st, I was attacked and shot twice. I almost died.
I also very much want to know who on earth wants to kill me?"
