"It's okay, now I can use my skills without worrying." The leader stretched his limbs, doing a little stretch. Feliciana wanted to ask what the leader was doing, but she didn't have the courage.

"John, you are a thief, if things get difficult, take Feliciana and warn the others to retreat." Feliciana saw her leaders give their orders.

"They are coming" Feliciana felt something similar as her leader's perception expanded past her and beyond the corridors of the residence.

"Yes, I do," said John.

"I want you to go to this area, some of the hostages must be in this direction when you see them inform me immediately, I will go to this area, most of them are on the lower floors, also there is a large concentration of enemies, if there is anyone with three stars it must be among these compartments"

The leader showed on the tablet 's holographic plan where Felicia and John had to go and he would go to the floors that were marked in red and there were several green dots.

"Right," Feliciana and John replied at the same time.

"Wait." When the two turned to go in one direction the leader stopped them, it seemed like he was about to make a difficult decision.

Feliciana's heart sank a little in anticipation of the leader's next words.

"Take this with you, if there is real danger you could survive if you have this with you"

Feliciana was perplexed at what her leader was giving them, she looked at John to see the same face she was making.

"Leader, I don't know how to use a spear."

Feliciana took the dark purple spear that the Leader was giving her, it was heavy and emitted a powerful energy that resonated with her magic, the spear was imposing full of symbols and scriptures that she could not read.

On the other side, John received a pair of short swords, they were black and glowed with a soft purple light, Feliciana thought she saw electricity running through the twin swords.

"Alex, I'm a thief, I can't equip a sword and even if I could I fight using daggers, a thief is to some extent similar to an assassin in combat" John said looking at the swords he had just received.

"Not for you to equip yourselves and use them as weapons," the leader said, giving them an enigmatic look.

"So what are we going to do with them anyway?" John voiced the question that was on Feliciana's heart.

"Just keep them with you, keep them in your inventory, when the time comes you will naturally know what and how to use them."

Suddenly, gravity seemed to bend around the leader and the phenomenon only intensified, his eyes turned purple and glowing, the ground beneath his feet began to give way, a crack formed before a hole appeared and he disappeared into it.

"Let's move forward, I'll go first"

Feliciana stored the spear in her storage, it was heavy and she already had her staffs to carry, the excess weight would compromise her low mobility.

In terms of attributes, Feliciana was low on strength and endurance, she could make up for it with magic, but she didn't want to waste her MP before the enemies arrived.

Feliciana saw John disappearing into the darkness, she reached for her pocket when she felt a belated touch, her freckled face turned red, she knew what had happened.

"Damn thief" She muttered these words "handsome thief" she added seeing that John had disappeared.

His wallet had disappeared from his pocket, one moment it was there, but when John disappeared his wallet was gone with it.

Feliciana grabbed her staff firmly before them several figures wearing animal masks appeared, one of them attacked as soon as he saw it, she looked everywhere, but no sign of John,

Where the hell had the two-star thief gone?

" It's from the hunters' association, let's kill it quickly before more agents show up."

The bandits had identified Feliciana right away, that was the downside of wearing a uniform, everyone would know right away where the hunter was from, and the association's dark suit had a design that everyone knew.

Feliciana had always wondered why agents wore suits over their combat gear, but she shouldn't think about trivial things right now, she was under attack and no one but herself could save her life.

The glow of magic illuminated her staff as she fired a water element spell right at the tip of her staff, the criminal who jumped at her was intercepted in mid-air, her casting time was impeccable, however, but they were coming.

Feliciana couldn't allow them to get close to her, she was a mage and if a warrior got close enough to deliver a point-blank strike, she didn't know if her suit would protect her from multiple attacks.

Feliciana conjured a protective barrier of the wind element, the barrier was translucent with a green color, the barrier was not very strong due to its low level, but it would be enough for her to retreat while attacking without worrying too much about her safety.

She concentrated, taking several steps back, the fireball spell was charged in just a few moments, her staff glowed red, she swung it gently creating three fireballs.

However, before Feliciana could cast the newly formed spell, the barrier protecting her was shattered and the fireball spell was fired before she could set a target.

The masked criminals drew their weapons and attacked as one while one of them yelled at the others.

"Tell the boss that the hunters' association is here, quickly."

Alex found himself falling rapidly through the underground floors, his gravity control lv5 was now easier to control it wasn't the same as when he fought the spider king.

Alex was much stronger than his past self, he wasn't quantitatively stronger, he was qualitatively stronger, he felt that if he fought the Spider King now, he would win in just a few moves.

Alex's heart was a whirlwind of emotion, he feared what he might find down there.

"Sister, I'm coming," Alex murmured, hurrying his descent.
