Volume 6 Chapter 16: Walson Must Die

(Walson)

When the next day arrived, I opened my eyes with a yawn and sat up. When I looked at the clock, I noticed that it was a little after eleven in the morning.

Outside the window, the gentle purple sunlight still shone, since we are underground, the usual sunlight that would come from the window whenever I wake up is nowhere to be seen.

To my left, I felt something soft was curling up against my body, I turned my head to the left and saw Melon quietly asleep with her head on my cotton pillow.

Melon's beautiful red hair scattered like clouds on the cotton sheets, her chest rising and falling gently with her even breath. Even though there was a blanket on her, you could faintly see her graceful body curves as she moved.

Unintentionally exposed, her fragrant shoulders were as tender as gelatin, with a hint of enchanting purple, otherworldly yet incredibly alluring.

She's so beautiful.

I couldn't help but reach out and stroke Melon's head. Last night, Melon worked herself to the bone, trying to keep up with me.

...

...

"Walson, go wake Melon up. It's time for lunch." However, as soon as I stepped out of the room, I was immediately met with a disapproving look from Grace.

Barella brought a plate from the kitchen to the dining table. When she saw me, her entire face turned red, and she hurriedly turned away and went back into the kitchen.

Derisha, who is usually very enthusiastic, didn't rush over to greet me today. Her reaction was similar to Grace's but not as exaggerated. She shyly said good morning and then ran back to her room.

Chuck, who knows when he appeared in the dining room, was sitting at the table. Originally, he was going to wave and greet me when he saw me, but he seemed to sense that something was off in the atmosphere of the dining room, so he put his hand down.

"Um, Chuck—" I started to say something.

"Walson, my friend, don't say anything. I'll go to the workshop first. Come find me when you're done with your matters." With that, Chuck took his plate and disappeared in a flash down the stairs.

As for Belle, who had been sitting in the corner of the dining room the whole time, she just sent out a hateful glare my way.

I thought that after our conversation in the hot spring last night, our relationship wouldn't be so tense. It seems I was mistaken; she still maintained her disdainful attitude.

"Perverted Goblin, the soundproofing in this house isn't great," Belle said coldly, taking a bite of the meat on her plate.

"Mr. Walson, I didn't expect you to be so vigorous during your mating activity, five rounds in a single night. I must say I'm impressed— Oh, but next time, make sure to do it in a private environment, yes? Covering Tanaya's ear all night took some toll on my body." Alice said, cutting slices of beef for Tanaya while smiling at me, sending shivers down my spine.

"Walson, what's five rounds in one night?" Tanaya blinked innocently with her big, watery eyes, looking at me.

...

...

Finally, when I managed to escape the dining room and arrived at the workshop to find Chuck, I felt like I had been stripped of a layer of skin.

The second floor of the mountain was a spacious area, resembling a large warehouse. I heard that the dwarves here, regardless of their status, would basically have a place like this at home to build or store their [Steam Motion Armors] if they could afford it.

Aside from the iron chains hanging from the ceiling, there were several large and strange machines in this spacious area. Although I couldn't understand how it worked, I could tell it was some kind of large forging machine.

"It's not that I want to say this, Walson, but your wife... that elf wife of yours, cooks pretty well. You've got some skills to handle an elf woman of all things," Chuck said, sitting alone next to the forge. He had just finished eating when I arrived.

"Chuck, can you improve the soundproofing in your house a bit? As of now… It's... a bit inconvenient," I didn't answer Chuck's words, instead, I asked directly.

Of course, I still didn't mention what happened last night.

I really didn't want to go through what happened at the dinner table again.

Some might wonder what kind of thing the girls did to me, did they hit me? Scold me? No, rather, I much prefer they do that, it would be better!

My fiancées just stared at me, silently condemning me, while Alice sat next to me, occasionally taunting me.

Even worse, Tanaya kept asking innocent questions like, "Walson, what's OO?" "Walson, what's XX?" Every time she asked one of these innocent questions, the silent condemnation intensified, turning into a damn infinite loop!!!!

The innocent attacks from the little Lolita caused me tons of damage.

Oh, and Belle's gaze went from looking at me like I'm a cockroach to an ant, then from an ant to... um, how should I describe it?

Worse than a Goblin, at least.

"...You have the gall to say that!?" Chuck, upon hearing this, first froze for a moment, then the next second, he threw his plate and pounced on me, grabbing my neck!!!

I was immediately tackled to the ground by this rugged, handsome guy who was only about five feet tall. He shook my head vigorously up and down, and I was about to pass out!!!!!

"You dare to treat my house like a brothel and still complain about the lack of soundproofing?! You really think I don't know what you did last night, huh!?"

"You definitely had a great time with one of your wives last night and now you're paying the price, right!?"

"Forget about the price, I even got kicked out to this damn place to eat alone! Can you justify that!? Can you justify it to your dear friend!?"

"By Tuvak! Today, I will eradicate you, this harem king who forgets his friends, for all the single dogs in the world!!!"

"Wait—! Chuck! aren't you supposed to start helping me make the [Steam Motion Armor] today!? It's getting late, we should start— Ahhhh!!!"
