Legend of the Red Eye

Authors note I don't own Yugioh or any of its characters. This Fanfic follows a boy with a red eyes deck.

"Now this is the end. Frightfur bear attack his weakened Gottoms!"

The bear ran at the monster like a rampaging beast before slicing the warrior with its scissors.

Kit's LP:2000

"And now for the finale of this spectacular show. Frightfur Sabre-tooth attack him directly." Sora said with a bow.

Like Frightfur bear, Frightfur Sabre-tooth also started running like a rampaging beast getting closer and closer to Kit. Kit quickly swung his wooden sword as a he finally found an action card. He leapt forward getting closer and closer towards it; however, he ran out of time.

Kit's LP: 0

Chapter 7: Clash of the six summoning's! Fight for the school part 4

As the competitors walked to the booth, we You Show students cheered loudly for our blue haired friend. Kit, who had lost miserably, bowed his head down as he made his way to the chairwomen.

"Sorry Madam Chairwomen, he was too strong." The glare the women gave was deadly as she was looking at him like a mother who just found out her son got expelled.

"You are a disappointment to the Leo Institute academy." Spoke the women in a cold tone. Kit just kept his mouth shut and looked down on the floor. From the corner of his eyes, he could see Julia somewhat smirking, mocking him for his lose. Unfortunately for her, the Chairwomen saw this. "What are you smiling about. Didn't you also lose to that Kai kid a few days ago." Said the women as Julia gritted her teeth, being reminded once again by that loss.

'Yuya drew his match, Yuzu lost, and Sora won his.' Thought Shuzo with his hands on his chin like he was trying to solve the most difficult math question. "Hey! Madam Chairwomen." The chairwomen who were about to scold Julia even more turned her attention to the shouting tracksuit wearing man. "You said that you would take over our school If your team won, well you have only won one which means the outcome has become a draw. So that means, you can't take over our school."

"Nonsense, you still have one more student left." Said the women as she pointed at me.

"Huh, but all your students have fought, you have none left over here."

"That doesn't matter, Julia won her match so to be fair, she will duel against your last remaining student." She looked over at Julia. "Reclaim your pride by beating that boy for the Leo School."

"Yes, Madam Chairwomen, I promise I wont fail." She said as I snorted. Looking over to me Julia gave a deadly glare. "Something funny?"

"Yeah, I just think you Leo Students always be making promises you can't keep." I said as Julia got into my face.

"Why don't we get on the field and let's find out."

"I would-" I started before looking before looking behind me. "However, I think there is someone here even more important that wants a piece of the action." Everyone followed the direction I was looking at. With his cover blown that hooded figure had no choice but to make himself known.

"How long have you known." Said the man before taking of his hood, revealing his face.

"Since we started this whole charade. You have been watching since the start. Am I correct in assuming you where the one who put that card in Dipper's deck" I asked

"Huh, what card?" Dipper asked

"If you're talking about the ring of destruction, yes, your right. Though I had no idea he would actually play it, I was hoping for that outcome."

"So, what your saying is that you know this would happen, Declan Akaba." I said as we just stared at each other. Everyone could feel the tension as the Madam Chairwomen smirked, this school is done for now.

Yuya leaned over to Yuzu "Who is Declan Akaba?"

"Seriously, you don't know?" Three kids, Gong and Sora looked to Yuzu for an explanation ss well as the Leo kids just looked surprise that Declan was here. "That guy is the president of the Leo Corporation."

"So, what you're saying is this guy is the big dude at the top?" asked Gong.

"Not only that, but he is also known as the best duellist in the whole country." Said Julia. "His skills are on another level." As the Leo students excluding me just looked at her shocked.

"So, what you say. Are We duelling or what?" I challenged. Declan nodded.

"If you want to save your school, you are going to have to get through this obstacle right in front of you." He said.

"Easy peasy." I responded. Declan walked off to the arena as I looked at Yuya and Yuzu. "I want you guys to pay attention to this match. This is the kind of stuff you will be forced to do in the near future." I walked off leaving Yuya and Yuzu confused.

"Do you think Kai can win this time?" asked Fredrick worried.

"I know he can, he has never let us down before. Plus, he is super strong, Declan doesn't stand a chance!" Said Allie.

"He has too, if we want to keep our school." Said Tate.

"Gong believes Kai can come out victorious," said Gong.

"Yeah, we believe in him." Said Yuya

Yuzu just put her hands together. 'You can do this Kai,'

"Hmph, your friend doesn't stand a chance. I thought I already told you that Declan is the best of the best." Said Julia annoyed.

"You shouldn't underestimate us." Sora spoke up as he took out another lollipop. "We have shown you guys that we are not just some dead school time and time again."

"Please, you where just lucky that match. Don't get ahead of yourself. I just can't wait for Declan to wipe that smirk off his face." Said Kit as he balled his fist towards Sora.

"Hmm? You say something? Sorry I don't speak to losers." Sora mocked with a smile as Kit just gritted his teeth at him.

'Declan is going to mop the floor with that overconfident kid, and then You Show and Pendulum summoning will be mine.' The chairwomen thought with the biggest smile anyone had seen on her face today.

"Kai has got his work cut out for him. He has got to win if we want to keep our school. I got to do my very best and pick the best duel field to support him." Said Shuzo as he looked thoughtfully at his computer. "I got it!" He clicked a random button as the field spell showed up. Calling out to kai he said, "Don't worry Kai, I got the best duel field for the best showdown, Crossover Accel!" The duel arena suddenly turned into a graveyard with multiple swords sticking out.

"Augmented reality combat system energised, generating action field"

"The fun has just begun!" Said Shuzo.

"The Duel that determines the fate of the world starts now!" Said the Chairwomen.

"You Show has chosen its champion!" Said Shuzo.

"The famous Declan vs red-hot Kai" Said Yuya.

"Behold! This is the newest and greatest evolution of Dueling!" Said Yuzu.

"Duel!"

"You can go first if you want." I said.

"I see, may I ask why?"

"Meh, I just like going second I guess." I said with a shrug.

"So, your that kind of duellist." He said which confused meh.

"I guess, now are you going to take your turn or what?"

"Very well. To begin I'll be activating three spell cards from my hand. The first one is this legally binding spell known as Dark Contract with the gate. This spell deals me one thousand points of damage at the beginning of my next turn." Said Declan as he activated his spell.

"That move makes no sense!" said Yuzu in shock.

"Yeah, it's like he is trying to through the duel away when it's just started."

"However, there is a benefit," continued Declan. "Once each turn, I can add a d/d monster that's level 4 or below. I would like to introduce you to my D/D Cerberus."

"D/D?" asked Fredrick.

"It stands for Different Dimension; those monsters are out of this world." Said Sora with a half-eaten chocolate in his hand.

"For my second move I'll activate this spell card. It's the same one I used before."

"What! By doing that when his next turn shows up."

"He will be 2000 points weaker." I just stared at Declan, waiting for him to finish his turn.

"Once again, I have the power to add a level 4 or below monster to my hand. In this case it will be D/D Lilith." He said as he added the card. "And now I will activate a third card. It's called Dark Contract with the Swamp King. Like my other spell card, I take 1000 points of damage."

"Interesting. Judging by that name I assume your going to be fusion summoning?"

"That's correct. With the power of Dark Contract with the Swamp King I can summon a fusion monster without using a fusion spell." This surprised Sora. "Watch as I fuse Cerberus and Lilith." With the fusion wheel forming his monsters where pulled in creating something deadly. "I fusion summon, D/D/D Flame King Genghis!"

D/D/D Flame King Genghis LV 6 (ATK 2000/DEF 1500)

A giant monster appeared behind Declan glaring at Kai like he was an insignificant prey.

"The guy is a fusion monster!" said Gong.

"Still, he put a lot of risk into this to fusion just one monster."

"Yeah, after all he must take 3000 points of damage on his next turn. Kai only has to deal 1000 points of damage and its game." Agreed Yuya.

"I cant find any record of Declan using fusion summoning in any of his duels. He already has an incredible string of victories up his belt and now he is even more powerful." Said Shuzo in a worried tone.

"I'm placing two cards face down. Its your move."

"Very well then." I spoke, for the first time since Declan started. "I draw"

I looked at the card I drew to see my Red-Eyes Black Dragon in my hand. "You want to have some fun huh" I said to my card before smirking. "Very well." I looked over at Declan. "First I'll normal summon Red Eyes Wyvern."

Red Eyes Wyvern LV 4 (ATK 1800/DEF 1600)

"Huh, that's his monster-" started Kit.

"Shush and just watch." Said Julia sternly.

"Next I'll banish it to summon my Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon." The wyvern disappeared to introduce a big dragon covered in metal.

Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon LV10 (ATK 2800/ DEF 2400)

"Its that monster!" Said Julia.

"You've seen it?" asked Dipper.

"Its one of the dragons he used to finish me off in our last due." She answered.

"One?"

"I told you not to underestimate that boy, he always has tricks even when you think your winning." She gritted her teeth as she remembered her last duel. This caught the chairwomen attention as she continued studying the boy.

"Now I will use my dragon's effect. Once per turn, I can summon another dragon monster in my hand to the field. Now come out my Ace, My soul, MY DRAGON, Red-Eyes Black Dragon" A pure black dragon with bloodshot eyes appeared as it roared in excitement at his opponent.

Red-Eyes Black Dragon LV 7 (ATK 2400/ DEF 2000)

Everyone looked in awe at the dragon.

"Two incredibly strong dragons on his first turn!" Dipper said in shock.

"That is right Kai is the best. He never loses!" gloated Allie.

"Looks like the duel is turning in Kai's favour." Said Yuya with a smile.

"Now for battle." I continued. "My Red-Eyes Darkness dragon will attack your flame king Genghis."

Declan moved as he picked up another card. "Not so fast! I activate the action card Evasion. Which means my monster is still alive."

"Very well then, I attack you

Declan hoped from side to side as he grabbed an action card then smirked. "I don't think so. I activate the trap card Dark Contract with the Witch!"

"A contract, but that means-"

"On his next turn Declan loses"

"That is correct. On my next turn I take 1000 life points, however, Flame king Genghis will benefit by gaining those 1000 attack points".

D/D/D Flame King Genghis LV 6 (ATK 3000/DEF 1500)

Kai LP:3400

"Tch, fine then." Kai's dragon fought valiantly but it was no much by the now stronger King. As soon as the attack stopped Flame King Genghis's boosted attack suddenly went down.

Only Sora, the chairwomen and I caught this.

"Looks like their pretty even," said Fredrick.

"Actually no, their not." Said Yuya, getting everyone's attention. "Remember Declan still has all the contracts to pay."

"Oh yeah," said Allie. "So, if Kai ends his turn right here, he will win the match." She cheered.

"Looks like Declan blundered big time." Laughed Tate.

"I wouldn't be so sure of that." Said Sora as this time it was his turn to get confused looks. "Did you guys forget who this guy is? He is apparently the best player in this whole country. Someone as good as that wouldn't just make a rookie mistake to cost him the match like that. Did you guys also catch that right after Kai's Red-Eyes Black Dragon connected, Declan's monster's attack point went back to its original number. There must be a reason for that." This made everyone worried as Sora's words made a lot of sense.

'What's going on?' I said as I tried studying Declan's face to get a read on him. There was nothing. "This guy is definitely a pro, so why would he activate so many contracts. Not to mention, His monster suddenly lost his attack points even though I haven't ended my turn yet. Is the effect only during battle phase? Or does it have something to do with those other contracts.'

"I set a card face down then end now you have to pay off all those contracts you owe."

"Excuse me? What contracts?" Declan asks. Everyone looked at him confused before suddenly his spells revealed itself and vanished.

"What! Where did all his contracts go?" Ask the confused Yuya.

"My contracts have all been broken. If you had been concentrating when you attacked, you would have known I activated a trap, the trap Laundering. With this I negated the effects of all my contracts and destroyed them." Said Declan. "Although judging by the face down you placed, you already suspected I would find a way to negate it."

"Obviously I did, It was pretty obvious." I responded.

"Of course, the contract that boosted Genghis's attack points returned to normal, so when I noticed they had gone down, that was why."

"Since he put the kabosh on those contracts he doesn't take any damage!" Exclaimed Gong.

"Lastly, I draw 1 card for each contract I destroyed, the real battle starts now Kai!" He said.

I smiled before readying myself. "Bring it on, I was hoping you were not just chickening out on me. I want to beat you at your very best. Declan Akaba!"

"Very well, I won't hold back My turn! Draw!"

"Alright! I summon the level 3 tuner monster. My D/D Knight owl!"

"A tuner monster!" Exclaimed Gong

"Then that means-" Yuzu started

"He is going to Synchro summon?" finished Yuya

"Perfect." Smirked the chairwomen.

"Once I've summoned this monster, I can summon another. It must be a D/D monster that's level 4 or below in my graveyard and I have to reduce its attack points all the way to 0." Declan explained. "I have decided to revive, D/D Lilith!"

D/D Lilith LV4 (ATK 0/DEF 2100)

"I tune my level 3 Double D knighthowl with my Double D Lilith." KnightHowl started turning into the synchro circle while Lilith went through transforming into something terrifying. "I synchro summon LV7 D/D/D Gust King Alexandra!"

D/D/D Gust King Alexandra LV7 (ATK 2500/DEF 2000)

"A synchro monster!" Yuya said in shock with all the other You Show students.

"So, he can synchro summon too?" Said Gong with a stern look. "I wonder what else that guy has been hiding.

"I'm not finished. Flame King Genghis, activate your special ability and turn up the heat." Declan's monster turned from red to purple as his monster raised its hands. "When a triple D monster other then my Flame King Genghis is summoned, I'm then allowed to summon a Double D monster from my graveyard. Rise once again D/D Lilith!"

D/D Lilith LV4 (ATK 100/DEF 2100)

"Double twist! My Gust King Alexandra's ability can now activate. Whenever a Double D monster is summoned, My Gust King Alexandra can now summon another Double D monster to rise from my graveyard. Return to me D/D Cerberus!"

D/D Cerberus LV4 (ATK 1800/DEF 600)

"And now Kai, I intend to overlay my two level 4 monsters. So, it begins."

"What begins?" I asked calmly.

"Your downfall of course. With these two monsters, I build the overlay network." Declan declared as he raised his hands to the air. His two monsters started turning into purple lights as they flew up to the air where the xyz circle has formed. With a bright light flashing like lightning raining down from it, a monster was formed. "I promise you have never seen a warrior king as magnificent and commanding as this one. I xyz summon, D/D/D Wave King Caesar!"

D/D/D Wave King Caesar Rank 4 (ATK 2400/DEF 1200)

Shock was written on almost everyone's faces as they look towards the light where Declan's monster was forming.

"He can summon Xyz monsters too?" Said Sora.

"This is blowing Gong's mind."

The chairwomen looked up at the monster as if she was seeing light for the first time.

Shuzo on the other hand stared at it in shock. "He can summon three different ways. That is amazing! I've never seen a dualist command such power. Still, none of his monsters are enough to take care of his"

"I should warn you that I have not even begun to unleash my most powerful monsters."

"These will do for no." I said.

"Very well, since your feeling confident let's begin." Declan said. "I activate the action card Attack Booster. I boost all my monsters by 500!"

"That must be the card you grabbed before my red eyes attacked you!" I said.

"Exactly, and now I shall gain from its fruits."

D/D/D Flame King Genghis LV 6 (ATK 2500/DEF 1500)

D/D/D Gust King Alexandra LV7 (ATK 3000/DEF 2000)

D/D/D Wave King Caesar Rank 4 (ATK 2900/DEF 1200)

"Now first things first I'll attack your Red-Eyes Darkness metal dragon with Gust King Alexandra." His king attacked as it swung its sword down slaying the dragon.

Kai LP: 3300

"I guess its true what they say, Kings can slay dragons." Said Declan as I just stared at him with a blank face.

"Oh no! if Declan attacks, he is going wipe out the rest of Kai's Life Points!" Said Allie

"Our school is finished!" Said Tate.

"Don't worry guys. I'm sure Kai has a plan." Said Yuya.

"And now I'll attack you directly with Flame King Genghis." Declared Declan as his monster started his attack.

"Sorry Declan, but I don't think so. I activate my trap Counter Gate. With this card, when my opponent declares a direct attack, I can draw and if it's a monster I can special summon it right away."

"Alright, if he gets a monster, he can protect his life points this turn." Said Yuzu in excitement.

"Told you, he is still in this."

"Come on deck." I said, praying for a specific card. I drew! I looked at the card and smirked. "Perfect! I summon the monster card Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon. Unfortunately, it has to be in attack mode.

Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon LV7 (ATK 2400/DEF 2000)

"Very well, Wave King Caesar attack his last remaining Red-Eyes directly."

"Looks like Kai is still going to take damage." Sora said as the monster landed it's hit, creating a massive explosion.

Kai LP: 2800

"Hm, looks like Kai is no match for our president." Julia said with a smirk.

"All going according to plan." Said the Chairwomen with her own smirk as the You Show students clenched their fists. They suddenly heard laughter coming from the smoke as everyone snapped their attention towards this. Declan widen his eyes.

"Is it? Is it really going according to your plan?" I said through laughter as the smoke finally cleared.

"What!" shouted Julia.

"But How!" Said the chairwomen. She was expressing pure shock for the first time since these duels started. The You Show students where all surprised, but their faces soon changed to happiness.

"Hahaha" Laughed Sora. "How does this guy still manage to surprise me." Declan's face hardened as he stared directly at me and my now three dragons on the field.

Author's note: I know I said this will be the final chapter of this arc but I've been pretty busy during this festive period. Hope this first part of the battle will suffice. If not… Tough luck, I guess.

Declan has revealed his power but still has some hidden even stronger monsters to dish out against Kai, who for some reason, has all his destroyed monster and an unknown one out on the field. How is Kai going to retaliate against Declan's three different summoned monsters. Stay tuned to find out.
