Law of Tragedy

Zhi Hua thought about it and felt that barging into the confrontation might agitate it especially in this Kind of environment where people are wary of humans more than the zombies so he motioned the little girl beside to be quiet then attempted to walk through the messy road as quiet as possible to the place where the gunshot rang out. He already found some zombies shuffling close to the destination with him but farther away while they dealt with the ones on their path. He felt that those guys better be who he's looking for since he gave them more time to argue. When he was close enough to see the figures of humans, he crouched down and shuffled to an abandoned car then used the advantage of the window being broken to observe the situation.

It was a four person group against 5 men who obviously had bad intentions and a sobbing woman in the middle. The first four people compromised of a honest looking man who was trying to save the woman from them dressed like a police officer, another woman who was vigilantly watching them while holding a crowbar, a teenager and a man in a lab coat obviously a scientist. After listening to them for a while; he was able to deduce the situation which was that the group of four came to the supermarket for food when they met the scene of the men trying to harass the woman and they obviously stopped them but as gangster they demanded payment once they saw their food in exchange for the woman.

Zhi Hua watched some more uncertain if this were the people he was searching for as it was possible there were other good people who weren't main characters. He was still thinking when he felt Feng tug his sleeves, he looked down to the little girl in question who said something shocking

"Brother, what are those" she said pointing to the air. Zhi Hua turned to the people and examined the area where she was pointing but saw nothing

"What do you see" he asked her seriously

"There are floating round things that is following those people"she whispered squeezing her face due to the inability to describe what they look like

"How many are there" he asked after thinking

"There are two different ones. One of them is watching the woman while the other is watching that police officer". This girl just keeps getting more mysterious by the second so I should keep her beside me and use her well, Zhu Hua thought while patting her head.

Zhi Hua remembered a manwha where the main characters had gods watching them through floating objects and felt that it must be similar. He examined the woman crying again and found that she kept saying she wanted to go home while sobbing hopelessly not even caring about the other two people. Her comments sounded like she wanted out of this zombie apocalypse world not this situation especially when she turned to the place where Feng pointed at and pleaded to go home.

Zhi Hua decided that she was important after all and he would join them after the bad guys left. He was still calm even though he found out that he wasn't the only one who entered this world but the only other person who he found seems to be from a different place than him. It seems that my heart can't be agitated by most things but at least he has a clue where this girl came from, he thought to himself wryly.

Wasting no time; he told Feng to get a baseball cap and a nose mask for the two of them very quickly and quietly since the apocalypse was caused by a virus so finding a nose mask was easy. She came back in time for the confrontation to end after the police officer pulled out his gun and shot the leader before the others scurried away.

He wore the nose mask and baseball hat so that the only thing left were his eyes and helped Feng hide her hair and wear the cap then he told her that she shouldn't speak unless he tells her to and follow his lead. He slowly stood up from his position holding the bat in one hand while tightly gripping Feng 's hand in the other while hesitantly walking forward glaring at them so that his image is that if a brother trying to protect his sister.

"Hello there" the police said once he saw them and smiled kindly

"I just came for food" he said tapping his bag on his shoulder

"Go ahead but you wouldn't find much" the police officer said. At that moment Feng 's stomach growled and Zhi Hua realized that they had done so much work with only bread and water in their stomach.

"Sis you must be hungry. Brother is very useless, don't worry we'll find something at the next one" he said rubbing her head affectionately

"No, brother is the best" she replied squeezing his hand.

"Why don't you two come with us"the woman beside the police officer said

"How do you expect us to trust you in this kind of world" he said hesitantly glancing at Feng. He gave the impression of I want to trust you but my sister's safety comes first.

"Can you kill zombies" she asked and he nodded firmly

"Then think of this as a business proposal where you hunt zombies and we pay you in food" she said stretching out her hand. Zhu Hua put on a thoughtful expression and walked to her shaking her hand.

"My name is Ha-yoon, a mechanic and that girl is So yeon, the police officer is Joon-oh and lastly our scientist Hyeon woo" she introduced the team.

"Ji Hwa and my sister Ji woo" he said

"Do you want to join us too miss" Ha yoon said turning to the other woman who had stopped crying and was sniffing looking aggrieved. She looked dazed and defeated staring into the air.

Zhi Hua frowned and walked to her with Feng behind him and clasped her hand in a comforting manner and whispered

"Sister, I know it can be hard to come to a place you aren't used to but cheer up. As long as you're alive then you can win besides you have found a friend from the same place so leave it to me and we can get through this"

"You're from 'outside' too"she said emphasizing on the outside and Zhu Hua nodded looking at her like a comrade from the same place which made her smile in relief. Zhu Hua is starting to think that he might have been an actor in his past life to convince this people so well but he felt that it also had to do with the fact that the psychological state of these guys is very bad.

"I managed to convince her and she agreed to join us " Zhu Hua said to the others after he calmed her down and they looked at him in a better light.

"So where are you guys going to Zhi Hua said standing infront of the group while the woman followed behind him obediently

"A safe facility we heard on a radio " Joon oh replied. Zhi Hua thought that the plot seems to be cliche of going to a facility where the government experiments on people and they destroy it but his priority right now is to get information from the woman behind him.

"Ah can we rest first, my sister and I have been walking all day" he said hoping to talk to the woman alone.

"Alright " he replied.
