KONOHA :THE RISE OF KAITON

Chapter 15: Chapter 15:Responses from All Parties

"Chakra is derived from both physical and mental energy. Physical energy is provided by the cells throughout the body. In the medical field, excessive extraction of energy from cells can harm the body's normal functions.

When too much energy is drained, cell division decreases, leading to premature aging and cell death. This affects the body's development, manifesting as short stature, aging skin, and even conditions like osteoporosis.

I came across some interesting data. According to statistics, the average age of death for ninjas is about 10 years younger than that of ordinary villagers. Apart from war-related deaths and illnesses, premature aging plays a significant role in this outcome...

My personal suggestion is that before the age of 12, everyone should focus on physical training and minimize Chakra exercises. Wait until the body matures before intensifying Chakra use.

I understand the desire to become a ninja as soon as possible, but right now is the best time to lay the foundation. Don't waste it by rushing.

Looking at my own progress, I could meet the graduation standard if I continued practicing for a while, but I won't graduate early. I plan to take the exam in six years.

I hope that, alongside training, you all engage in extracurricular activities, go on outings, and play games with friends. Try starting a small business, develop a hobby, and take time to relax after school. Hard training can harm your body, so take care of yourselves.

That's all for today's class."

The students stood up, clearly deep in thought. Kaiton's ideas had left a strong impact on them, and they planned to discuss the matters with their parents at home.

Before anyone could leave, kaiton quickly added, "Oh, and one last thing. After you return home, I expect you to write a review of today's lesson, about a thousand words. The review is due tomorrow. And from now on, I'll assign homework after every class. Please take it seriously."

The students left, each of them feeling a bit bewildered but intrigued. Kaiton's suggestion of homework, in particular, left a mark.

Meanwhile, Senju Tenzou, who had been listening to kaiton's lecture from the back of the room, thought to himself, Homework... good idea! Why didn't I think of that?

It wasn't too late for him to start assigning homework to his students as well.

Kaiton then walked over to Tsunade, and they, along with Akirai, left together. On their way home, Akirai began to complain about the homework, suggesting that kaiton was perhaps giving himself an advantage. Kaiton, however, firmly rejected this idea, causing Akirai to slump and leave quietly.

After sending Tsunade home, kaiton noticed no one was around, so he quickly changed direction and ran toward the back hill.

...

Later that evening, kaiton, sweaty from his intense training, returned home, took a refreshing bath, and lay down in bed, feeling content.

Everything had gone according to plan. By increasing their class time and reducing physical exercises, he had already laid the foundation for their growth. The addition of homework ensured they couldn't slack off after school, keeping them focused.

Kaiton, having experienced the tortures of homework himself, was confident that once the students finished their assignments, they'd be so mentally exhausted that they would probably head to bed early. After all, mental stress is often more taxing than physical strain, and kaiton empathized with that.

As a teacher who assigned homework, he cleverly avoided the burden of doing it himself, leaving him with extra time for his own training. With his talents, kaiton believed it wouldn't be long before he had an unbeatable advantage over others.

Of course, these plans weren't without purpose. The concerns he had raised were genuine. Overexerting oneself by refining Chakra at a young age was dangerous, and his medical knowledge would prove beneficial for everyone. Kaiton genuinely cared about his students' well-being.

Kaiton had always scoffed at the idea of "early graduation" being equated with genius. Graduating at such a young age could show a certain level of talent, but it didn't necessarily mean the child was mature enough. What's more, being a ninja was a life full of constant danger, even death. Could a young child handle such a life, mentally?

Even though kaiton was only 12 years old himself, he felt that becoming a ninja at that age was a bit premature. In this world, 16 seemed like the appropriate age for one to fully mature physically and mentally before becoming a ninja. But since the world of ninjas operated differently, kaiton couldn't do much about it. He wasn't Hokage, after all.

Oh well, I'll take it slow. There's still plenty of time.

...

In a luxurious Uchiha estate, Uchiha Retsu sat listening to his son's recount of what had happened at school that day.

After hearing the story, Retsu thought for a moment before asking, "Retsu, what do you think of that boy, Akirai?"

"Father," replied Retsu thoughtfully, "Given that he's already as strong as Tsunade through his training, there must be something special about him."

Retsu sighed softly. "Yes, if that's the case, then we'll see. I'll test your progress in a while. Don't let me down."

"It's understood, Father."

The decisions made by several other families mirrored this. While some debated the reduction of Chakra training, they all saw value in learning medical knowledge. It was an investment in their future. Plus, according to Akirai, becoming skilled in this area could also help them financially, which especially piqued the interest of the Akamichi family.

The Akamichi family, particularly Setsu's father, repeatedly encouraged his son to study hard. He hoped Setsu could create even more delicious dishes for the family business.

After Tsunade eagerly shared her own experience, the Senju clan, including Hashirama, praised Akirai's ideas. "He's right. You're not like us, so there's no need to worry about survival. The most important thing is to ensure the normal development of your body."

Tobirama agreed. "Indeed. Childhood is not the ideal time to practice Chakra extensively. Focusing on physical skills and medical knowledge is enough for now."

Mito, smiling as she patted Tsunade's head, added, "You all still underestimate Akirai. He's incredibly smart, caring, and mature in his thinking. But there's something else we've overlooked."

As Mito recalled how Akirai had once approached Hashirama with a large bag on his head to ask about medical matters, her smile faded into a more serious expression.

"Akirai can be ruthless, you know. In just two weeks, he was able to draw with kingsu. And considering his rapid progress in medical studies..."

Tsunade's eyes widened as Mito continued, "I don't doubt his talent, but the most important thing is his fierce competitive spirit. I'm afraid that Akirai holds a grudge against anyone who isn't kingsu.Do you believe it or not, that little Akirai probably went off to train secretly after you two parted ways, just to surpass you sooner?"

Tsunade's jaw dropped as she processed Mito's words. Her face flushed red with embarrassment and determination. Without a word, she punched the wooden table in front of her, shattering it.

"I'm going to train too!" Tsunade shouted. "That little jerk Akirai, you wait for me! If he thinks he's passing me secretly, he's in for a rude awakening!"

Tsunade stormed off, leaving the others wide-eyed, unsure of what to make of her sudden outburst.
