Chapter 80: Full Sync

A blue fireball in the shape of a rat shot from Tonari's mouth, hurtling toward Yoruichi at incredible speed.

Noticing the incoming attack, Yoruichi immediately abandoned his engagement with Minato. With a final strike to force Minato back, he turned to face the incoming fire rat ball.

Standing under the moonlight, cloaked in a shimmering blue chakra mantle, was Tonari. He leaped down from the treetops, landing beside Minato with a confident smirk.

"It's you!" Yoruichi growled, recognizing him instantly.

His shock deepened as his gaze locked onto Tonari's chakra cloak. His eyes widened, and his voice trembled as he pointed a finger.

"This... this chakra..."

As a Special Jōnin of the Cloud Village, Yoruichi had witnessed the power of the Two-Tails Jinchūriki in battle. The chakra radiating from Tonari now was unmistakably similar to that of the Two-Tails.

Seeing Yoruichi's reaction, Tonari's smirk widened.

Minato couldn't help but blush at the bold statement, but he quickly composed himself.

"He's not wrong."

"Combine!" Tonari shouted, and the scattered flames from the fire rat ball reversed their course, hurtling back toward Yoruichi.

Tonari turned to Minato with a grin.

Minato tightened his grip on a kunai, his expression resolute.

"Always!"

He extended his fist, meeting Tonari's outstretched hand in a firm bump.

A strange warmth spread from their contact, easing Minato's exhaustion and renewing his strength.

When the dust from the explosions settled, Yoruichi emerged, battered but standing.

Tonari and Minato moved simultaneously.

Tonari led the charge, his chakra blade glowing with red-hot energy as he swung it diagonally at Yoruichi.

Yoruichi's hands flew into a series of seals, raising a thick earth wall between them.

"Hah! Using Earth Wall against me? You must not know who you're dealing with."

With a mocking laugh, Tonari's chakra-enhanced blade sliced clean through the wall, cleaving it in half. Pivoting on his heel, he aimed a punch at Yoruichi's face.

Yoruichi barely managed to deflect the blow, but Tonari twisted with the momentum, grabbing Yoruichi's arm and forcing it behind his back in a painful hold.

Minato followed up with precise timing, driving his kunai into Yoruichi's shoulder.

Yoruichi roared in pain, wrenching himself free with a burst of strength that sent both opponents staggering back.

"Lightning Release: Black Spot Charge!"

Desperation drove Yoruichi to unleash his most powerful lightning jutsu, a technique developed by the Third Raikage that demanded immense chakra control and capacity.

As electrical energy surged around him, Minato and Tonari moved into action.

"Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet!"

"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!"

Their jutsu collided, with Minato's wind technique amplifying Tonari's fire attack. Flames roared forward, intensified by the gust, forming a massive wave of destruction.

The synchronized assault didn't stop there.

Locking eyes, the two shared an unspoken understanding, their bond forged through countless sparring matches.

"Let's finish this!"

In perfect harmony, they shouted:

"Ninjutsu: Spiral Wind Flash Brilliant Fire Roar—Blazing Star Inferno!"

Yoruichi: "..."

In the end, the Cloud ninja could only stare in disbelief as the combined power of Konoha's most talented duo consumed him.
