Description:
Sailors. Men and women of the sea, ready to traverse one of the most dangerous environments that can be found of Terra Sol.
This class focus on sailing on the wide and monster-infested seas of Terra Sol. Despite that, the Sailor class provides little-to-no combat skills. Therefore, it is encouraged for Sailors to pick a secondary class that can be used to fight off sea monsters.
The skills provided by this class are wholly dedicated to easing the venture across the ocean. [Helmsmanship] to provide a better handle of the ship, [Swimming] in case someone falls into the ocean, [Night Vision] so the Sailor can operate the ship during the night without attracting sea monsters with their lights, [Sun Resistance] so they do not collapse from the constant exposure to the sun, and [Teamwork] to provide smooth work between the different sailors.
One of the rarer skills the class provides is the [Provision Storage] skill. The Sailor can store simple provisions into this skill, such as biscuits, bread, and honey. As time does not stop inside the Storage and the temperature is the same as the outside world, it is not recommended to store fruits and fish in this skill during long voyages.
And the second rare skill granted by the Sailor class and the strangest one of them all. [Sea-Drinker] allows the Sailor to filter out salt and bacterias from the seawater they drink, meaning they can use it as a substitution in case they have a shortage of fresh water. This skill will not prevent the Sailor from drowning though, and the taste is not changed either, so the Sailor is pretty much doomed to obtain the [Foul Eater] title.
Ciara's comment: No, even without combat abilities, the sailors of this world are way tougher than those in my old world.
Flint's comment: I don't know much about where you Migrants come from, but I betcha they are. Heck, some Sailors find the taste of seawater "irresistible". It's almost as strange as Garami's taste for spices, and I was even knocked out cold from tasting her hotpot once!
Ciara's comment: No way, you're a Fire Lizardman~. Stop joking...you're joking, right? Right?
