Judgment of the Endless (MarvelxDC)

Chapter 104: 102: I am SteppenWolf

On the other side of Sanctuary II, the war was equally ferocious. Steppenwolf, Darkseid's loyal general, strode into the battlefield with an aura of invincibility.

His massive axe, glowing with energy, left a trail of destruction as he made his way through the Black Order.

Standing against him were Thanos's most trusted children—Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive, and Cull Obsidian.

Each one was a monster in their own right, and together, they formed a force that had brought entire civilizations to their knees.

The tension in the air was palpable as the two sides stared each other down.

"Do you really think you can take all of us?" Proxima sneered, twirling her glowing trident with ease. Her eyes gleamed with cruel anticipation.

Steppenwolf grinned, the expression filled with malice. "I have faced armies that spanned the cosmos. You three are nothing more than a minor inconvenience."

Corvus Glaive, his golden glaive glinting ominously, stepped forward. "You'll regret underestimating us, New God. Thanos's will is absolute, and we are its executioners."

Cull Obsidian roared, the hulking brute charging toward Steppenwolf with reckless abandon.

His massive hammer came down with enough force to shatter the floor of the ship, sending tremors throughout the battlefield.

Steppenwolf sidestepped the attack with ease, bringing his axe down on Cull's arm. The blade bit deep, drawing blood that hissed as it hit the scorched metal.

Cull howled in pain but swung his hammer again, the sheer force of the blow sending Steppenwolf skidding back several feet.

Before he could recover, Proxima Midnight struck. Her trident shot forward, its tips glowing with deadly energy. The weapon's speed was unmatched, but Steppenwolf deflected it with his axe, sparks flying as the two weapons clashed.

"You fight well," Steppenwolf admitted, his voice filled with grudging respect. "But skill alone will not save you."

He parried another strike from Proxima, countering with a brutal kick that sent her crashing into a nearby wall.

Corvus Glaive took advantage of the opening, his glaive slashing at Steppenwolf with surgical precision.

The New God blocked the first strike but was forced to retreat as Corvus pressed the attack, his movements a blur. (A/N: Yes, Steppenwolf is a New God)

"You're fast," Steppenwolf said, grinning. "But speed means nothing without strength."

With a roar, he swung his axe in a wide arc, the weapon's energy creating a shockwave that sent Corvus flying.

Cull Obsidian, enraged by his earlier wound, charged again, his hammer glowing with raw power. He brought it down in a thunderous strike, the impact creating a crater in the floor. Steppenwolf leaped into the air, dodging the blow, and landed on Cull's back.

Gripping his axe with both hands, Steppenwolf drove the blade into Cull's shoulder, eliciting a scream of agony. The massive brute stumbled, his strength faltering.

"This is where you fall," Steppenwolf growled, pulling his axe free and delivering a final, devastating blow to Cull's head. The Black Order's strongest member collapsed to the ground, defeated.

Seeing Cull's fall, Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive exchanged a glance. They moved in unison, their attacks perfectly coordinated.

Proxima's trident struck from the front while Corvus's glaive sliced in from the side, forcing Steppenwolf to divide his attention.

Despite their efforts, Steppenwolf held his ground. His axe became a blur, deflecting strike after strike. But even he couldn't keep up with their relentless assault forever.

Corvus managed to land a hit, his glaive slashing across Steppenwolf's side. Blood seeped from the wound, but the New God barely flinched.

"You're better than I thought," Steppenwolf admitted, grinning through the pain. "But it won't be enough."

He lashed out with his axe, forcing the two assassins to retreat. With a roar, he charged at them, his attacks growing faster and more brutal.

Proxima and Corvus found themselves on the defensive, their earlier confidence fading.

Steppenwolf's axe found its mark, slicing through Proxima's trident and embedding itself in her chest. She gasped, blood spilling from her lips as she collapsed to the ground.

"No!" Corvus shouted, his rage blinding him. He lunged at Steppenwolf, his glaive aimed at the New God's heart.

Steppenwolf caught the weapon with one hand, his grip like iron. "Your loyalty is admirable," he said, his tone almost mocking. "But it will not save you."

With a twist of his wrist, he snapped the glaive in half.

Corvus stared in shock as Steppenwolf's axe descended, ending his life in a single, decisive blow.

Meanwhile, the battle between Darkseid and Thanos raged on, their clashes creating shockwaves that rippled through the void of space.

Thanos, now wielding the combined power of the Power and Reality Stones, unleashed an onslaught of attacks that distorted reality itself.

Entire sections of Sanctuary II were torn apart, the twisted remnants floating in the void like grotesque sculptures.

Darkseid countered with the Omega Effect, his beams carving through the chaos with unerring precision. The two titans were evenly matched, their raw power threatening to tear the universe apart.

"You are a fool to challenge me, Thanos," Darkseid said, his voice calm despite the ferocity of the battle. "Your ambition blinds you to the inevitable."

Thanos snarled, his gauntlet glowing with unbridled energy. "I will not be lectured by a pretender to the throne. This universe is mine to rule."

Darkseid's response was a devastating punch that sent Thanos crashing through the ship's hull. The Mad Titan emerged moments later, his armor scorched but his resolve unbroken.

"You'll have to do better than that," Thanos growled, activating the Reality Stone once more.

Before the battle could continue, a strange sound echoed through the battlefield—a loud crunch, crunch, crunch.

Both Darkseid and Thanos froze, their gazes snapping to the source of the noise.

Standing on a piece of floating debris was a man in a bowler hat and a three-piece suit. He was munching on a bag of popcorn, his expression one of casual amusement.

"Ah, hullo there!" the man said, his voice carrying a distinctly British accent. "Don't mind me, just enjoying the show. Quite the spectacle, really."

Darkseid's eyes narrowed, his Omega beams glowing dangerously. "Who dares interrupt my conquest?"

The man tipped his hat, unfazed by the palpable tension in the air. "The name's Nobody. Mr. Nobody, at your service."

Darkseid scowled, his eyes crackling with energy. "You have a death wish, mortal."

Mr. Nobody chuckled, tossing a piece of popcorn into his mouth. "Oh, I'm anything but mortal, I assure you. Now, do carry on. This is the best entertainment I've had in eons."

The two titans exchanged a glance, their battle momentarily forgotten as they tried to make sense of this new player in the game.

The tension in the air was palpable, the clash of titans momentarily halted by the arrival of the enigmatic Mr. Nobody. What role would he play in this cosmic struggle?

And what secrets did he hold that could sway the outcome of this monumental battle?
