"You matured too early!" Shikamaru complained, "We're not even in puberty yet."

"I'm planning for the future! You slacker!" Ino retorted without holding back.

"What about you, Shikamaru?" Sakura asked.

"Me?" After thinking for a moment, Shikamaru decided to be honest, "I don't have any grand dreams. I'll probably end up like Ino, inheriting the family business, which means becoming the Hokage's secretary, the kind that gets to see the Hokage all the time."

"I don't want to be like my father. I want to taste all the delicious food in the world!" Akimichi Choji declared his dream loudly.

"That's impossible!" Shikamaru might have been young, but he saw the reality clearly and said helplessly, "our relations with the other ninja villages aren't that friendly. To taste all the delicious food in the world, peace would have to come to the ninja world, where ninjas from all villages won't compete over missions."

"It's my turn!" Naruto shouted.

"Alright, you don't need to say it." Shikamaru teased, "It's becoming the Hokage, we know."

"Shikamaru, how can you say that? At least let me finish! Jeez!" Naruto complained but then caught the scent of ramen, and turned to look at Sakura, "Sakura, what's your dream?"

"I'd like to say it's becoming the Hokage, but I'm not sure myself. I'm too young. My dream may change one day, so for now, I'll just focus on the goals I can see before me." The light in Sakura's eyes was as dazzling as the sun, even showing a faint golden hue that ordinary people couldn't detect.

Under the influence of Sun Wukong, her eyes seemed to have gained a mystical quality.

"The goals you can see?" Ino wondered.

"Of course, it's the Hokage!" Sakura clenched her fists, "And the first step to becoming the Hokage is to make myself strong. I'll become stronger than anyone else!"

After saying that, she threw a punch, unleashing a concentrated white burst of energy that held together and stopped after traveling three meters.

"What kind of super strength is that?" Ino asked in disbelief.

"Of course, it's a punching technique I developed." Sakura smiled, but she couldn't reveal that she had learned this technique after being beat half the afternoon in the mind space by Ino.

Although it was just a simple move, it enabled Sakura to control her punching power and concentrate it at a single point without dispersing it.

Sakura was now confident.

She felt assured that, facing any opponent at Ino's level, if they got close enough for her to land a punch, they would certainly lose their ability to fight.

This wasn't about scattering the opponent's chakra, but rather about breaking their bones and destroying the cells within their body, fundamentally severing any chance of them harnessing chakra.

"That's so cool!" Ino asked, "Can you teach me?"

"Of course." Sakura nodded, then looked at Naruto and the others, "If any of you want to learn, I can teach you too."

"No, I don't want to learn." Frowning, Shikamaru knew that this technique required talent; without it, one could only work hard. But why should he make an effort when he could lie back and take it easy?

He didn't want to become a muscle man.

Akimichi Choji also refused, "I can't afford to burn off my fat with exercise, so I won't learn this technique that obviously requires exerting force."

"I'll learn!" Naruto raised his hand. He didn't genuinely want to learn but was seeking more time to spend with Sakura, and then to truly defeat Uchiha Sasuke once.

For some reason, he just couldn't seem to like that smug guy.

"But Sakura, if you want to be Hokage, it's going to be tough for me, after all, I, Naruto Uzumaki, am also a man who's going to become Hokage!" Naruto Uzumaki once again proclaimed his declaration.

"Here he goes again," Shikamaru said somewhat speechlessly.

"The ramen is ready." Sakura went over to the lunch box, lifted the lid, and stirred it with chopsticks. Instantly, a delicious aroma filled the air, and even Shikamaru couldn't help but swallow his saliva.

Everyone took out their lunch boxes, and Sakura served them ramen, while Naruto still used Sakura's lunch box lid, and Choji, not afraid of the heat, directly hugged his lunch box.

"Slurp—"

They all ate with relish.

"I don't know why, but when everyone eats together, even the simplest ramen tastes so much better," Shikamaru couldn't quite understand.

Akimichi Choji, however, with a wisdom that seemed foolish, sipped on the soup and loudly said, "It's naturally very happy to eat with friends, just need a bit more quantity."

"That's right, eating with friends is of course the happiest,"

Accompanying him was a young man, none other than Uchiha Itachi; watching Sasuke come to a halt, he also followed Sasuke's gaze and saw Haruno Sakura and the others.

"The new generation of Ino-Shika-Chō?" Uchiha Itachi thought for a moment, then smiled at Sasuke, "Sasuke, are they your friends? Why don't you go say hello?"

Sasuke shook his head, "No, they aren't my friends, especially that blondie!"

Uchiha Itachi smiled and looked toward Naruto, feeling a sinister chakra, he thought to himself, "A Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails, eh? It's indeed better not to let Sasuke get too close to him; he might get hurt."

Perhaps feeling a connection with Sasuke, Naruto turned his head and saw Sasuke.

"Sasuke!"

Naruto called out, then flashed a broad smile, "Want some ramen? I've got a little left here."

"I certainly don't want any!" Sasuke made a face at Naruto, annoying him quite a bit, "You lookin' for a fight?"

"Come at me, who's afraid?" Sasuke seemed not to take Naruto so well either, and with his brother there, it was a good opportunity to show how he beats his peers.

"Sasuke!" Uchiha Itachi grabbed Sasuke, then said to Naruto, "Sorry, Sasuke might have gotten a bit too excited."

"Ah? It's nothin'." Naruto felt a bit embarrassed.

"My name is Uchiha Itachi, Sasuke's brother. I was about to take Sasuke for some training in the nearby forest. Would you like to join us?" Uchiha Itachi, like an older brother from next door, flashed a gentle smile.

"So handsome!" Ino was instantly mesmerized.
