Chapter 216: Lucky Pervert
The next morning, when Shichen opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was an unfamiliar ceiling.
Just as he tried to sit up, he felt something soft against his left arm. Turning his head, he saw an adorable sleeping face.
She was lying quietly on her side facing him. Her skin was pale and flawless, her delicate features practically angelic.
Her breathing was light and even; she was clearly still asleep. The faint upward curve of her lips showed she was having a sweet dream.
When Shichen lifted the blanket, it came as no surprise that she wasn't wearing a stitch of clothing—explaining the two soft points pressing against his arm.
At least he was still in boxer shorts.
There hadn't been time to prepare clothes for her last night, and Peke certainly couldn't have dressed her while she slept.
Not wanting to wake her, Shichen used a spatial shift to slip out of her arms and off the bed.
"Mm—" Yet she still woke up.
"Shichen?" She sat up, rubbed her sleepy eyes, and looked at him.
Bathed in the morning light, her rising figure seemed touched by holy radiance—pure and beautiful. Her normally rosy‑fair skin now glowed faintly.
Shichen shook his head and walked to the bedside. "Why are you awake?"
"Shichen suddenly disappeared," Lala mumbled drowsily.
"You could even feel that, huh?"
He ruffled her hair. "Sleep a little longer. I'll start on breakfast."
"Eh? Breakfast?" Lala brightened. "Shichen is going to cook himself?"
"Didn't I tell you yesterday?"
"I want to watch you make breakfast!" she said excitedly.
"What's there to watch? I still need to buy ingredients."
"Buy ingredients? I'm coming too!"
"…All right."
Shichen gave in. In this mood, she clearly wouldn't fall back asleep.
"Peke!" Lala called to the foot of the bed.
"Yes, Ojou-sama—how may I help?" Peke woke instantly and flew over.
"I want to get dressed."
"Yes, ma'am! Changing mode, dressing modu—"
"Hold on!" Shichen cut in quickly.
"Huh? What is it, Shichen-sama?" Peke asked in confusion.
Lala also looked at him.
"Don't use yesterday's outfit."
"Why not?"
"It's not suitable for going out."
"Really? But I don't have any clothes meant for this planet," Peke fretted.
"You can transform into any outfit, right?" Shichen asked.
"Yes. As long as I have the data, I can generate any clothes—perfectly to Ojou-sama's measurements."
"Great."
Shichen went to the desk, opened the computer, and pulled up a huge selection of women's fashion.
"Peke, register all of these."
"So these are this planet's clothes? Understood!"
Peke scanned the screen once and finished registering everything.
"Ojou-sama, which set would you like?"
Seated on the bed with a finger to her chin, Lala turned to Shichen. "Shichen, you pick for me."
"Then this one." He pointed to a pink princess‑style gown on the screen.
"Got it—changing!"
Peke turned into white light, wrapped around her, and the next moment Lala was dressed in a stylish pink princess dress with frills—absolutely adorable.
"Shichen~ How do I look?" Lala hopped off the bed and twirled, eyes full of expectation.
"Perfect fit—super cute," Shichen praised with a nod.
"Hehe~ Really~" Lala beamed.
"All right, brush your teeth and we'll go buy groceries."
"Wait, Shichen." She stepped up and caught his hand.
"What is it?"
"Don't couples do this in the morning?" Lala closed her eyes, tilted her head up, and puckered her cherry‑pink lips ever so slightly.
"Where'd you learn that?"
Shichen chuckled, pulled her into his arms, and kissed her.
"Mmh~" She wrapped her arms around his waist, kissing back with enthusiasm; her tail wagged behind her in delight.
Peke, now resting as a head‑ornament, looked away again. At this rate, it feared something "irrevocable" might happen within a week.
That good‑morning kiss set them back ten minutes, but Shichen finally took her to the nearby shopping street for groceries.
Their arrival seemed to brighten the whole street, as if a ray of light swept through.
Fortunately it was still early, so there weren't many people—just enough to leave most shopkeepers momentarily frozen in place.
No one paid much mind to her tail.
Shichen bought plenty of food; besides breakfast, he planned lunch and dinner too.
He suddenly found himself missing a certain someone's little sister in this world—if she were here, he wouldn't have to cook every day.
But there was no rush. His future sister‑in‑law was also a fine cook; once she arrived, things would be easier.
With groceries in hand, they walked home.
They'd only arrived on this planet last night, so everything was new and curious; naturally they took their time looking around.
Shichen wasn't in a hurry anyway—he was a principal now and no longer needed to clock in.
After nearly half an hour, they got home and Shichen started breakfast.
Lala stayed in the kitchen, watching him the whole time.
He made a Chinese‑style breakfast. It was too late for steamed buns, but porridge was fine—morning should start with seafood congee.
Tempted by her figure last night, his mind was full of her graceful curves; he found himself craving seafood.
He wondered whether tender abalone tasted as good as it looked.
After breakfast, classes had already begun. Shichen brought Lala to the school.
They arrived just as a break started; the moment they stepped in, student chatter filled the air.
"Shichen, where is this?" Lala looked around curiously.
"This is a school—almost forgot to say, I'm the principal," Shichen said proudly.
"Principal? Amazing!"
"It's okay… Want me to show you around?"
"Sure~!"
"Come on, I'll take you to the classroom building first," Shichen said—he wanted to see a few acquaintances.
"Let's go!" Lala clung to his arm, raising her other hand high in excitement.
As soon as they entered the building, a small commotion broke out.
"Isn't that the new principal?"
"Where? It really is him—wait! Who's that beautiful girl?"
"So pretty! Like an angel!"
"She must be the principal's girlfriend, right?"
"Do you even need to guess? Obviously."
"How can someone be that beautiful?"
"Because the principal's handsome too."
"By the way, did you notice the principal's girlfriend has…?"
"A tail? And it's moving!"
"Could that be the principal's weird fetish?"
"Can't be… right?"
Shichen heard all this as they passed classrooms. He thought he should clear things up; misunderstandings wouldn't be good.
Lala, however, didn't hear a thing—she peered into every class, eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"Lala, interested?" Shichen asked as they reached the second‑year floor.
"In what?"
"Attending school with everyone else?"
"Eh? Can I?" Lala didn't hide her desire.
Shichen smiled. "Forget already? I'm the principal. Letting you enroll is easy."
"Oh, right!"
"And I'll be at school most days anyway. You'd be bored alone at home, no?"
"I don't want to stay home alone—I want to be with Shichen."
"Then it's decided."
"Mm!" Lala nodded vigorously.
"But let's finish the tour first."
"Okay!"
"Next up—the second‑year classrooms…"
"Ah!"
Just as they reached the second floor, they bumped into a student coming around the corner with a stack of folders.
Sure enough, she collided straight into Lala.
Because Lala was holding onto Shichen, she was fine, but the girl lost her footing, slipped backward, and the documents scattered as she flailed.
Her face became visible—a very pretty black‑haired girl.
Quick as lightning, Shichen shot out his left hand and caught her.
"You okay?"
"Eh?"
The expected fall never came. The girl slowly opened her eyes and found a face that made her heart flutter.
Of course, she recognized him.
"Pr…Principal?" she stammered.
"That's me. Are you hurt?"
"N…No, I'm fi—eh?"
She was about to say she was fine when she felt something off at her chest. Looking down, she saw a hand gripping it.
At that same moment, Shichen also noticed—and, without thinking, flexed his fingers.
