Jitsu -A different story-

"Yes, Mom. I'm fine, it was just the shock of the moment that kept me busy, but I'm completely calm now. You need to do the same." Accompanying her words, Rena concentrated on holding Shizune's hands while seeing the worried look on her face, all to calm her down.

"Are you really okay?" Even if Shizune knew that everything had already happened and there was not much to worry about, everything had been so sudden and until now she could start to calm down seeing Rena's good condition.

As a sort of habit, it was necessary to explain what had happened to get to the current situation, and basically, Rena's water had broken right after dinner at the apartment.

That had put everyone on alert, Rena had suddenly felt weak, and if it weren't for Akira being close to her to catch her, she might have fallen because of what she was experiencing. Added to this was Akio's help when he saw Rena's condition, in addition to the concern that aroused in Shizune at the same time.

Questions hit Rena asking how she was doing and you could perfectly see that the expression on some of those present was slowly turning into panic little by little, but fortunately, Shizune was able to return to reality and her gaze turned towards Kurono, who soon understood what he had to do.

In short, Kurono directed everyone to help Rena out of the apartment and into his car. That had been the best option at the time due to everyone's concern, and they didn't doubt Kurono's idea before starting to move. They had taken their time doing all of this with due care, always checking how Rena was feeling, but fortunately, they were able to carry out everything and arrived at the hospital without any kind of problem in between.

"I'm really fine, and you heard the doctor, even though my water broke, it wasn't enough to go into labor immediately." Rena was quite relieved at that moment, and was able to calmly handle the situation since everyone was with her.

When they arrived, Rena was quickly carried by several nurses on a stretcher, the doctor who was monitoring her pregnancy had been in charge of attending to her, and everything resulted in Rena not being completely ready for labor, so she was led to the room where everyone could now accompany her.

"The good thing is that everything calmed down… But it gave me a good scare." Akio was finally able to let out a long sigh of relief, in addition to the fact that a strong fatigue had just hit him due to all the action and feelings that were present.

"I was scared too, thank goodness Akira-nee was there to prevent I from falling." Rena once again experienced a new warmth as she felt the concern of others.

"I'm glad I did it just in time, I think we all stopped thinking clearly at that moment." Like everyone, Akira was also able to calm down seeing that Rena was fine now.

"But everything turned out well, hehe. Although from what the doctor said, the best thing for me is to stay in the hospital now since labor could start at any time or it will be scheduled for the day after tomorrow." That news once again generated some feelings of concern although with them came some feelings of excitement due to the baby. "Now that we are calmer, I wanted to thank everyone for the help, especially Kurono-san, I think we would still be waiting for an ambulance if it weren't for you."

Rena's gaze swept over everyone she was in the room just as she said that and a small smile appeared on her face, although everyone's attention was focused on Kurono as the others said something similar to what she said.

"I don't think it's necessary to thank so much, maybe it was something sudden because of what was happening, but it was something that had to be done at that time." Kurono simply scratched his head with some embarrassment due to the sudden thanks, which resulted in some laughter in the room.

Only Rena was the one comfortable in the bed while Akio and Akira were on the left side of her and Kurono and Shizune on the right, so Rena was truly surrounded by people important to her.

"Since we don't know if we'll have to wait until the day after tomorrow, maybe it would be a good idea to bring you some things." Remembering what Rena had said, Akio didn't hesitate to say his thoughts.

"I was just going to say that, I really don't like to bother you, but in the rush, we only brought a change of clothes since the other ones were ruined." That made Rena remembers the mess that was made in the apartment, but surely that not would be her problem.

"We should also think about who will take care of you these days, we can take turns doing it." Akira joined the conversation with that suggestion. It was true that there might not be much need if the birth came ahead of schedule, but it was better to be sure, and following the conversation, Shizune was the next to speak.

"In that case, I could take care of preparing everything you need, just tell me what is and I can bring it today, can you help me, Kurono?" Shizune was already thinking about everything she had to do, in fact this situation was something that she had talked about a lot with Rena and her mother, so she felt that she had almost everything under control.

"You don't need to exaggerate much, let's do it this way." Rena gave a small clap to get everyone's attention once again. "Since it's already a little late, for today I can spend the night without needing anything in particular, so it's better to decide how you are thinking about shifts to take care of me."

That got everyone focused again, and after a heated argument, it all ended in Akio and Akira spending that night in the hospital to take care of Rena, while Kurono and Shizune would do so tomorrow. There weren't many problems regarding the work on the part of Akio and Kurono due to the situation and because Kurono said that he would take charge of it, so the shifts had been well defined.

"Well, that's better now, so let me think about what… Are you okay, Mom?" Rena was already busy thinking about what she would like them to bring her, perhaps some things would not be completely necessary like her cell phone, but there were many messages she needed to send or things to do, although those ideas slipped away a little when she saw Shizune.

"Eh? Oh, yes. I was just thinking about everything that needs to be prepared, hehe…" Rena didn't ask anything else and went back to concentrating on her own thing while Akio and Akira accompanied her in it.

To satisfy the curiosity of some, the reason for Rena's question was because Shizune's gaze was somewhat lost at that moment, as if her mind was somewhere else, and now, taking advantage of everyone's distraction, Shizune's gaze turned to see Kurono. He looked at her in response, but, although nothing was said between them, at that very moment they had realized something... Something that began to fill their heads and they couldn't help it... It was something they had waited for a long time.
