Jitsu -A different story-

Shizune had ignored everything else and simply let her legs carry her to the front door to meet that person she had not stopped missing all these days. Akira saw this, but simply sighed and stayed to finish preparing what was missing before heading in the same direction as Shizune.

"I know I may be exaggerating, but don't you feel any other discomfort?"

"I'm fine, it's like the doctor said that time, everything I'm feeling is completely normal, but putting all that aside, I really feel calmer knowing that you came back without problems." Shizune had already arrived, but the first thing that received her was the small conversation that was going on, specifically, it was about Rena welcoming Akio.

"Good afternoon, Mother. I hope everything went well here." Akio was also calmer once he saw Rena, and all the heaviness of the trip had just left his body. There were many moments in which he also missed his wife, so now he could put aside all those worries.

Seeing Shizune also calmed him a little as it let him know that everything was fine, and a delicious aroma had hit his nose just when he entered the apartment, which let him know that he would be able to enjoy a home-cooked meal that he missed so much…Though that should wait a bit.

"Don't worry, Akio. Nothing worrying has happened, I'm glad to know you're here." Shizune gave a simple wave in response to Akio's words, although on top of that, Shizune's sight was a little distracted looking towards the door that was still open as she was hesitating to ask a question, but she wouldn't have the chance due to Akira's arrival.

"So you're already here, didn't you cause any trouble during the trip?" Akira had taken on a somewhat serious expression as she adjusted her glasses and asked Akio that question.

"How much trust do you have in me, Akira?" Even though Akio already knew that Akira had unexpectedly arrived in the city, seeing her in person made several feelings arise in him, not of the negative kind, but he knew that his sister would torment him in some way, although in the same way, he was happy to see her. "I'm glad to know you're here with us, are mom and dad okay?"

It seemed that both Akio and Akira were going to concentrate on their conversation, but while all that was happening, Shizune's gaze turned once again towards the door and her eyes widened wider than normal at the same time that her body moved in the same direction when someone's figure had just appeared.

"Kurono…" Shizune had thought of all the words she wanted to say right now, but she could only say that name before she was practically speechless, but the next thing she would hear would be enough for that small blank moment to disappear completely.

"I'm back, Shizune." For his part, Kurono was experiencing many feelings just as he saw Shizune, among them calmness and happiness that were difficult to describe.

Maybe it was the perfect time to say everything that they had been keeping in mind. They could finally be together again, and there was nothing that prevented it. Kurono noticed the state Shizune was in and thought he should be the first to start, but before he did anything, a slight surprise washed over him, and that was because of the sensation he was experiencing.

It was a warm, but incredibly special feeling, something he hadn't experienced lately, but he was appreciating it despite the situation they were in or who could see them at the time, to be more specific, what had happened was that Shizune had approached him and did not hesitate to kiss him directly, to which Kurono duly reciprocated with the same action.

It didn't take much thinking to guess that everyone could see what they were doing, but aside from keeping their own thoughts to themselves, Akio, Rena, and Akira simply laughed a little before moving in the direction of the room to give Shizune and Kurono some privacy.

Their kiss lasted a few seconds, but it was like on those occasions where it felt like time lasted longer than it should. In the end, they separated again and just stared at each other until Kurono moved his arm and touched Shizune's cheek with the back of his hand to appreciate her.

Shizune clearly felt Kurono's touch and did not reject it, instead, she seemed to want to feel it even more and brought her face even closer to her hand while she also touched Kurono's hand with hers.

"Welcome back, Kurono…" Kurono wanted to thank Shizune for her words, but instead, he had been mesmerized, and that was because right now the only thing in his sight was the beautiful smile that adorned Shizune's face, which had been enough for him not to think about anything else and he begins to kiss Shizune, making them both get lost in that moment once again...

After that reunion, it can be said that everything continued relatively normally, Shizune and Kurono went to meet the others and more exchanges of greetings were present. Everyone sat in the living room and Akio began to tell some things about the trip, Kurono had focused completely on Shizune and gave her a small gift, which was a pair of earrings that she loved, although that same thing made Rena look at Akio expected something similar, which was the case since Akio asked Kurono for permission to go to his car since they had left some souvenirs or gifts they had brought.

The talk didn't last long after that as everyone moved to the kitchen to finally taste everything that Shizune had prepared, but in the same way, the place became very lively due to everything they had to tell or share, and that itself made time continue until all the plates were empty and everyone present was satisfied.

"Sigh… That was delicious." Akio couldn't help but comment after everything he had tasted. Several similar comments and thanks to Shizune soon appeared from everyone, which she accepted and thanked everyone for enjoying it.

"Yes, everything mom makes is a delight, although... I need to go to the bathroom…" Rena's comment had been somewhat unexpected, although that itself had caught the attention of Shizune and Akira since lately, Rena needed some help with it.

"Do you need me to come with you?" Akira hadn't taken long to ask the question.

"Thank you, but…" Rena was about to reject it since she felt like she could do it herself this time, she didn't want to disturb too much due to the lively atmosphere that was present, but unfortunately, the words that wanted to come out of her couldn't make it because a small but important reason...
