rule/law god/monarch/immortal/cultivator (using an existing one as main source of power is rule while creating one is law. And by creating, I mean creating their own source. It can have the same name but it is far more difficult to make a new source, but they don't have to worry about the restrictions and burdens of taking on the rules of others because that restricts them. Example being how Barry Allen is a source while Wally West is the perfect conduit. The difference is one is endless while the other has an upper limit. And likewise, cultivator and immortal represent where they grew their own power or had it from birth. Requires three generations to qualify for the title of immortal family.)

Martial and magic based ascension is monarch and not restricted by faith but can utilize it. They have to learn them. Gods can appear earlier but their cale of power is based on faith and how many, how strong, and purity of the faith. (natural brainwashing(teaching) vs magic based(memetic).)

Body cultivators also use circles to measure their power, and so do Qi cultivators use qi circles which though lesser in scale and versatility, have greater overall strength and potency. Body cultivators have a unique divine ability when they reach country level in power. While qi and mana gain a golden cord and array respectively. Another difference is mana is generic unless another energy is mixed in while qi is unique to every individual and requires adapting the techniques in the later levels to better fit their energy.

Mana is logical and is just adding more layers and output while qi has greater force, more intricate and greater growth potential unless talent has an effect.
