The device that was launched by Sky Technologies was a Pocket Translator Beacon.

It was a coin-sized translator that fits easily in the palm or clips onto clothing. It could listen in on conversations, filtering out background noise while picking up the spoken words almost instantly.

Once it recognized what was being said, it could process the meaning and deliver a smooth, natural translation with minimal delay.

The device could transmit audio directly to a paired earpiece. It could function without a constant Internet connection, relying on an embedded AI core that could learn accents, regional slang, and changes in tone as conversations continued.

There were no obvious buttons. One could wake it with a light tap and mute it with a gentle squeeze. A narrow ring of light around its edge could shift color to indicate the detected language, keeping the device discreet while it bridged the gap between speakers of different languages.

This was something that was invented by the staff in the R&D department of Sky Technologies.

An electronics engineer, Christine, designed the compact circuitry and power flow, making everything fit within a coin-sized form.

An embedded systems engineer handled the firmware, controlling how the beacon listened, processed, and responded in real time. A signal processing specialist ensured voices were captured clearly, filtering out noise.

An AI linguistics expert refined the translation intelligence, adapting to accents and tone. A product designer shaped the device so it remained subtle, comfortable, and intuitive to use.

Those experts were scouted by Adrian. Most of them did not have good conditions where they were working at. So, when they were offered better conditions, they obviously joined Sky Technologies.

As expected, something like this had obviously provoked the places that they were previously working. But, that was not something to bother with for the time being.

Regardless, this invention made Michael realize something. With experts such as Christine and Lauren, there was a possibility that he would not even need to buy blueprints from the system.

After all, the two of them were at the expert level in their fields. And if there was something that they could not do, Adrian, Damian, Lucas and Benjamin could go ahead and help them.

After all, the four of them had the ability to learn. And, the speed at which they could learn things was extremely high. So, there was a possibility that he could save quite a lot of SP like this.

The launching of this product had taken the market by storm. Many people had not expected such an invention from Sky Technologies.

Previously, the updates that were being made by Sky Technologies had obviously attracted quite some attention. But, it was not enough to be able to attract the technology giants from the central province.

But this time, with this invention, they had inevitably attracted quite a lot of attention. Though, considering that the product that they had launched did not clash much with their interests, for the time being, they were just watching.

Still, Michael understood that this was just for now. As time went by, and Sky Technologies released more products, it was inevitable that they would be targeted.

That was something that was to be expected, as business was always a battlefield. So, Michael was already prepared. As time went by, his foundation increasingly became stronger.

And in the future, if there was a company that tried to cause him much problems, he could just go ahead and use his SP to buy them out.

Buying a bigger company and integrating the policies at Sky Technologies, that would be great. And, it seemed that this was the best way to handle most of the issues.

It was just that, Michael felt that there was no need for him to use SP like that for the time being. After all, with the skills that the bio humans that he had bought had, it was only just a matter of time before they could succeed.

And with the linking of Onyx, many things had become quite more efficient. It was just that, Michael was not willing to fully replace humans with technology.

If he really just decided to depend on Onyx and bio humans, many things would be much more efficiently done. Additionally, it would be quite easy for him to be able to take over the technological world within a short time.

But, Michael did not want that. If he did something like that, quite a large number of people would be unemployed. He was not a saint, but still, for his own benefits, he was not willing to ruin other people's future.

It was just that, only those that were worth it could be employed by Sky Technologies. If someone was completely lazy, not willing to learn, there was nothing that Michael could do about that.

Good thing, it was quite easy for Adrian and the others to be able to scout talents. So, the thing that he was the least afraid about was lacking talent in a particular field.

As for the benefits, with the ability of earning from the stock market, there was no problem about cash at all. After all, Adrian had always made sure that his bank account balance was maintained at $5 billion.

Unknowingly, Michael fell into sleep. His mind was kind of relaxed, but he understood, this was only for the time being. With the Santos family out there, he had quite some pressure.

But, he understood, he had to balance between work and rest. After an entire week of grinding for SP, he had decided that on the following day, he would go out to relax a bit.

Alex had recently been bugging him, obviously wanting him to go and hang out with them. So, he thought, this was quite a good chance to do that.

Michael was woken up by the ringing of his phone. The sleep in his eyes immediately disappeared, as he picked the phone from the bedside cabinet.

Looking at the caller, it turned out to be Kate. This was the second time that Kate was calling him. The first time was when she arrived at the training camp. And now, a week later, she was calling again.

"Hey, good morning." Michael received the call.

"I almost thought that you would still be sleeping by now." Kate's voice came from the other end.

"What gave you that impression?" Michael asked with slightly raised brows.

"You always stay at home the entire time. So, I thought that you are usually quite lazy. Or maybe, do you perhaps work from home?" Kate asked, her voice expressing her bright mood.

Michael was left momentarily dumbfounded. This girl, she thought that since he stayed at home, he was usually lazy?

Regardless, shaking his head, Michael simply asked, "What makes you so happy? I assume that things are going well on your side, right?"

"Definitely. I have much more chances to train here, and the facilities here are incredible. Right now, I am loitering around in a city, as we were given a break. For an entire week, we have been working out, and I can visibly see the improvements.

I believe that it is only a matter of time before I finally reach the level that you are in, or even maybe surpass you." Kate exclaimed.

It seemed that when it came to the training that she was undergoing, she was much more interested, that she forgot about the previous topic.

Hearing the excitement in Kate's voice, it seemed that the life in NEXUS's training camp was quite good.

"That's great. Then you better work hard, because it is not that easy to be able to surpass me." Michael responded.

With him having already surpassed the human potential, there was almost no possibility of Kate surpassing him. That was unless she took the evolution serum.

But for her to be able to qualify to take the serum, she would still need to reach the limit of the human potential. But, that was not something easy.

"By the way, I will be able to come back in the next 3 months. That will be the first extended break that will be given to us. The break will last an entire week." Kate said, as though she had just remembered something.

"From your voice, it seems that you are missing someone?" Michael asked in a teasing tone.

"Of course. But don't worry, I don't miss you. I miss my mom, my grandpa and my grandma." Kate responded in a provocative tone.

To this, Michael simply shook his head slightly, as a slight smile appeared on his lips.

"Well then. Since today you were given a chance to relax, then you better take it. After all, if you don't allow your body to relax, you might end up breaking it instead." Michael gave a reminder.

"I know. I have always adhered to this ever since I was little. But, from the way that you are speaking, it seems that you are worried about me, right? Don't tell me, have you also began falling for me?" Kate responded before she asked in a mischievous tone.
