BOOOOOOOM!!
The earth-shaking blast forced Sunny to a halt. He twisted around, his eyes wide with disbelief as he stared at Vancouver.
"You grew?!" Sunny blurted, stunned. Vancouver was now a colossal, twenty-meter giant.
"Yes… My bloodline skill," Vancouver replied, his voice a low rumble. He waved a hand, and with a gust of wind, a hundred trees were ripped from their roots and sent flying towards the giants.
"Okay… that's a good distraction," Sunny mumbled to himself. He shot off, flying at top speed towards the two towering leaders. His objective was simple: get them to chase him. His stats weren't high enough to outrun them in a straight line, but he knew he could face them head-on.
As he zipped over the heads of the thousands of giants surging towards Vancouver, his focus was fixed on the two colossal leaders.
The two giants tilted their heads, their gazes fixed on the small, flying figure. The largest of the two clenched the boulders in its hand and hurled them towards Sunny.
"You bastard!!"
Sunny braced himself, activating his defensive skill. He flew straight into the path of the boulders, shattering them with his body, his momentum unhindered. In an instant, he appeared directly in front of the giant's face.
"Over here!!" he yelled, unleashing a blast of dark lightning that struck the giant's massive face.
Sunny flew backward, hovering a few meters away. 'That attack didn't even scratch its defense,' he thought, surprised by the sheer durability of the giant.
The two colossal leaders turned their attention to him. Neither of them moved.
"Come on!! What are you waiting for!!" Sunny taunted, turning and flying away, sending more attacks at them.
"Chase me!!!!"
The two giants stared at him for a moment longer, then, to his utter confusion, turned their heads and fixed their gazes on the distant forest.
"This?" Sunny was stunned.
The second leader dropped to one knee, both hands placed on the ground, its stare unwavering.
"What?! Is that fool going to charge towards the forest?!!!" Sunny yelled in horror, shooting forward to intercept it. But a massive palm appeared before him, moving at an incredible speed.
"Fuck!!"
BAM!!!
The palm collided with him, sending him flying back for hundreds of miles.
BOOOM!!!
The giant shot forward like a cannonball, passing Vancouver in the blink of an eye. Vancouver, who was busy fighting the army of giants, looked over his shoulder in horror.
"What the??" he shouted, bewildered.

Sunny lay on the ground, his face covered in blood, his mind reeling.
"What… What happened?" he asked himself, his gaze fixed on the stormy sky.
"Was I slapped out of the sky?" He blinked a couple of times.
"No… The right question I should be asking is, why did the giants ignore me… Who are they looking for? Star? Ellen?" He forced himself to his feet.
"Ellen… She is the only one these things must be after, but why?!!" He clenched his fists, his eyes bloodshot.
"I made a promise, and I don't plan on failing it!!!" he screamed.
A red and black energy erupted from his body, shooting up into the sky in a blinding pillar of light.
"....?!"
The giants and even Vancouver all stopped, turning their heads to the pillar of energy, their faces filled with surprise and terror.
WHOOSH!!!!
An unknown object shot towards them, streaks of lightning in its wake. As it passed, all the smaller giants in its path were instantly incinerated, turning into piles of ash.
"HEEEEEEEEE!!!!"
The leader of the giants let out a piercing shriek and swung its hand at the moving object.
BOOOOOOOM!!!
".....?!!"
The giant froze, staring at its arm, which had been cleanly severed from its shoulder.
".....?!"
Vancouver watched, stunned, as the object shot past him, heading straight for the charging giant.
"What is going on?!!" he yelled in shock and disbelief.

"Come on!" Star pleaded.
"No!!" Ellen yelled back, shaking her legs vigorously.
Star frowned. She looked over her shoulder. They were out of the forest, but the land was flat, and the treeline was still in sight. A giant would have no problem seeing them here.
"Drop me down, or you'll regret what I do to you," Ellen said in a cold, deadly voice.
Star froze and slowed down. With a sigh, she gently placed Ellen on the ground. 'This girl could kill giants. She is strong, but I can't let her go back,' she thought.
Ellen's gaze swept over Alexandra, David, Mia, Joseph, and Mike before returning to Star.
"You are all running? But have you thought about where we are running to?! If Dad and that man died there, we will be next!" she yelled at them.
"I know you are protecting me, aunt Star, but I can't stand by and watch... I snuck onto the ship because I want to help, not run like some cowards."
"But Ellen, those giants are the leaders?" Mike asked, bewildered.
"What's the difference? Dad is a king, but is he not still a Beastify man??" she retorted.
".....?!" Star was dumbfounded.
"I don't care what you say or do… But no one can stop me from going back to my father!!" Ellen declared, her voice filled with resolve.
BAM!! BAM! BAM! BAM!!!
The group spun around, seeing a giant running towards them at an insane speed, shaking the ground with every step.
"What the hell?!" Mike exclaimed.
Star stared at Ellen for a moment, then let out a resigned sigh. "Okay Ellen… We fight. No more running."
Star summoned her sword and turned to face the giant. "Let's kill this---"

"....?!!"
The group froze, staring at the flash of light that burst through the chest of the charging giant, causing it to collapse on the ground. The light stopped just before them.
They all blinked, staring at the red werewolf standing before them. His claws were so sharp they seemed capable of cutting steel, and his body crackled with a swirling red and black lightning.
"Dad?" Ellen asked, stunned.

'What energy is this?' He looked over his shoulder at Ellen. 'This energy is identical to Ellen's.'

Sunny's thoughts were interrupted by a piercing shriek from the giant leader, who stood back up.
"But first… Let's deal with this pest," he said, his red eyes glowing with determination.
