Infinite Providence: The First Legendary Death Supreme!

Chapter 96: Truths Unveiled! Massive Change!

It wasn't how he thought it would be...

It wasn't as simple as he imagined, and even when he believed he was done overestimating it, he found that it held more secrets than he thought, a connection to a truth far greater than this world could hold, and more things.

But even then, when he opened the book to read it, tears gushed out from the calm man's heart as the first sentence spoke as if it addressed him directly.

If anyone other than him had read it, they would make countless interpretations of it but never find the truth to it, because it addressed someone, but that someone was unknown.

But Ken was sure that that someone was him.

It was the first sentence, yet its effect on him was great.

Only after half an hour did he continue reading.

Some truths not even providence gave him were hidden through the first 3 pages, addressing him and giving him information about his case.

Information that wouldn't truly add anything to his plans, but information that would and did manage to calm down raging questions in his heart that he had buried because he was so sure there would be no answers for it.

Why was he here? How can he be here? It can't be that simple?

And even information regarding things that he couldn't even find in his previous world, let alone in here...

But now, he moved on to the 4th page, and there, things changed.

"At first, there were the 7 great beings and nothing else." Ken read the line out loud.

"Given a mission by their Haven, they were tasked with creating the first world..."

"A world that would welcome and give birth to the 8th great being, the Supreme." After these words were said, the topic changed.

No information about the 7 great beings, what a Haven was, what the Supreme Being was, what he would be made of, or what his task would be once he reached that milestone."

"Children of the first world, do not follow the steps of those before you, for they have failed their mission greatly, and their bodies rotted beneath your feet for you to walk on top of."

"Neither this life of theirs nor their next would be pleasing, so strive to be better."

"Take care of your parents and those close to you, as every action of yours counts."

"Balance out your bad and your good, and strive for a better place."

Ken's eyes almost couldn't believe what he was reading, because it was very similar to things he had read back on earth.

But he knew some truths the citizens of this world didn't for this very reason, which made him see everything from a completely different point of view.

For them, the reason why they didn't ask questions about existence was because they were sure of where they came from and how they are who and where they are and where they would be after, and if they wanted something, how to achieve it.

For a second, Ken stopped reading and recounted his previous steps.

While the citizens of this world strived for a better place, and then an even better starting point in a second world, he, the intruder who didn't know better and couldn't see farther, was fighting for control over his life due to his lack of knowledge.

Now he knew. Where he was, why he was here, what he had to do, and even better, who he was.

Indeed, information he couldn't even find in his previous place, his land of origin, earth, was here for all to read... about him.

Things are different now; his plan changed, his vision expanded, and there was no longer fear about many things he thought had gone downward since he came to this world.

Some truths he held supreme turned into doubts, but now, within the first few pages of this book... Ken, the new cultivator, was no more.

In his place was a man of absolute morals and principles, sharp gaze, sharp mind, a clear goal, and a serene heart.

This place wasn't a hellhole he knew nothing about any longer; it was a place he was a visitor in like all other citizens, and at the end of his journey, his achievements in here would spiral him towards...

That was for later.

---------

Time passed faster than a breeze, and in a blink it was almost time for the second grand event after the auction.

An event that made the transformed Ken with clear eyes join the table of elders with a completely different air around him.

"Greetings, elders and fellow disciples." Showing his respect, the elders smiled and nodded, while the elder master and Elder Karim kept him in their eyes for a good few seconds.

"Have you read it?" This was the first question from the elder master, and it did catch the attention of everyone on the table.

"I did, elder master. I did." Repeating the words twice, it went to show how important this was for Ken.

And the elders smiled in realization that maybe, just maybe, this young man was able to understand something they didn't or was, like all of them, amazed beyond words by the book's content.

"That's good; it will help your view of the world massively." The elder master nodded and smiled.

"It did." Ken nodded too.

His heart was clear, and it reflected on his eyes; his breathing was stable, his posture was straight, and his mind was sharp and receptive.

Everything was thanks to what he read in the book and its importance to him, as it answered questions he had no answers to and gave a goal he didn't know existed, and all in all, reading the book was something that had to be done sooner or later.

This gathering became important in Ken's eyes; due to its existence, he had come in contact with the book so early; otherwise, he would have needed to wait another 6 months, and by then...

Who knows what might have happened?

------End------

A.N: Note that this chapter and the previous ones about the book are more Stell Verse lore than Infinite Providence lore.

It's not just this novel that has this lore, but all my previous and next novels will.
