IN THIS LIFE I CHOSE TO BE A VILLAIN

After a good nap I opened my eyes and found myself in a hospital room, despite my search I couldn't find kriti anywhere.

In both my lives, kriti was someone who was always by my side, so not finding her filled me with restlessness. In an attempt to assure myself I called her out but received no response.

I started unplugging whatever wires binding me but before I could do so, the door opened with a 'click' sound and witira came in. She reached me in second and caught my hands and asked, " What are you doing?"

"Witira, we need to find to kriti she isn't here? And she doesn't usually leave me alone..."

Before I could complete she interrupted my words and said, "Hrithik she is absolutely fine and is in police station"

Her answer filled my head more questions I made sure everything was well planned and executed, then why was kriti in police station, On our way to Sarkars I knew Witira was following our car, so I made sure whatever I intended to do was done before she entered the Sarkar Mansion, then why? Why was kriti arrested?, I racked my brain for answers and found one but, my lack of curiosity and concern might raise unnecessary suspicions, so I continued asking questions like a curious child that I was.

"Police station, but why? She didn't do anything whatever happened was all Mr. Dinesh's fault you were there when it happened then, why was Kriti sent to police station"

Witira gave me a comforting smile and said," Hrithik, she was arrested for the murder of Tara & Dinesh Sarkar..."

I didn't allow her to complete her sentence and said," But it was Sarkar's who attacked us first and whatever kriti did was only to save herself and me, Witira this isn't fair let's go we both will go to the police and explain it to them."

" Hrithik listen, we all know whatever happened was not kriti's fault, this is just a basic procedure and believe me, she will be released by tomorrow"

I sighed in relief acting as if her answer gave me reassurance. Deep down I knew, I couldn't allow her to think more about this, after all she was called the best and who knows when her little brain might come up with a new set of questions, answers and theories, So I changed the topic and said," Anyway, I should get going" my hand tried to release itself from her grip.

While she tightened her grip on my hand, she had a questioning expression on her face, I returned her look and said," you should release my hand"

"And where are you going?" she asked,

"of course home, Aira must be alone"

"Oh yeah, I completely forgot but, why don't you ask the hospital, since you are injured and can afford to pay for services, they might send some staff members to support you."

Why would I allow some staff members whose identity is neither reviewed nor confirmed into my house, NO that wasn't happening.

So I shook my head and said," No, Aira isn't comfortable with people she doesn't know so let's not bother with it, I am fine anyway"

"You don't look fine though, but since you are diligent in going home let I will accompany you"

Witira finished her statement and turned to leave not waiting for Hrithik's response.

"Hey, I don't remember asking for your assistance where are you going"Hrithik asked while following Witira.

'How could I possibly take her to my home, this would be the same as letting a tiger enter my house'.

Witira continued walking and entered his car, Hrithik was gasping for air after running all the way.

' Damm it, this body of mine is so weak and small that I am having a hard time even following a woman this is unacceptable'

he thought staring at the women sitting in his car.

" Are you planning you making Aira Wait for the whole night" Witira asked as she started the engine.

Hrithik was not happy with her tome and asked"Why would you be accompanying me, I don't remember asking you"

"Well, it was you who said Aira wasn't comfortable with strangers didn't you, so I decided as a good friend that I am, I should help you." witira said seriously.

Hrithik observed her closely and smirked inside'Wow, what a woman, look at her audacity ? She wants to help me, now? What is she up to? Why is she so considerate all of a sudden?'

He had his doubts and concealing his suspicion asked,"Why would you help me again"

" I guess our roles have changed, this is truly different usually I am the one questioning, but today I am the one being questioned" Witira said and laughed out her face had a genuine smile as if she found something truly impressive.

Hrithik didn't react and only stared at her, as if feeling his eyes on her, looked in his direction only to find him in a dead serious expression.

" Common Hrithik, you know Aira has already seen and is also comfortable with me then what is bothering you?"

'I don't want you to find something unnecessary after entering my house is this answer sufficient so get lost, now"
