NOVEL NEXT Chapter 15: leave
We talked about some pieces of art in my house, and it was the only thing I could talk about since, me asking any questions would lead to her doing the same, and I was definitely not in position to answer questions especially if related to my family.
Sound of horn seemed to have spiked up Witira's interest as she asked"aren't you the only one living here?"
While getting up from sofa going towards the entrance I said "Nope".
Witira followed me out....
Aira came running to me but stopped in her track perhaps seeing my injury she asked me to sit down and I complied, she checked my injury, with a worrying face and asked "Is it still hurting brother".
Her expression is so cute when she's worried I thought, and despite being warned not to do anything that could strain my body I couldn't stop myself from picking her up.
"It doesn't hurt anymore and don't you know your brother is super strong so I suggest you stop worrying about me and give my Goodday kissy like you always do" I said giving her a sunny smile and flexed my muscles trying to show off my biceps which was completely covered by my shirt.
She didn't seem satisfied by my answer and said "Then why were you hiding your injury yesterday, If you don't want to make me worried then you have to stop getting hurt, hiding your injuries will only make me my worries worse".
She just sounded like mom, smiling at her big words I dramatically added "okay, okay my little princess your command shall be obliged but we have a guest here, so let's continue this some other time"
I put her down and led her to Witira whose eyes for some reason were shining brightly and her lips formed a beautiful arc, her smile was mesmerizing, for a second I couldn't take my eyes off her, she just seemed so different from the previous Witira that I knew, this was the first time I saw her smile in two of my lifes.
Coming out of my thoughts introducing then I said
"Miss Witira this is my sister Aira Oberoi and Aira this is the current district head of the police department Witira Evans"
Witira excitedly crouched down and extended her hand to Aira and said "Hello Aira, nice to meet you this is Witira Evans"
Aira didn't take Witira's hand but said coldly"You hurt my brother didn't you? and even after hurting him you showed up mu house but you are not welcome here so please leave"
