Hearing those words, Yoshida Saki was left speechless and extremely exasperated.
Meanwhile, unnoticed by Yoshida Saki or the delinquents, Hikari, listening in the shadows, also felt a mix of speechlessness and disgust.
But he wasn't surprised.
After all, this was exactly why he had come here.
Earlier, while in the restroom, the Pure Love Origami Crane had sent him a warning.
Additionally, the Pure Love Radar had detected an incident brewing on the rooftop.
That was why he had followed the two blonde-haired guys and their sister up to the rooftop.
Otherwise, he would have already dragged those three idiots into the restroom to deal with them-why waste time coming all the way up here?
Facing the silent Yoshida Saki, Hayato pressed closer with the dr*gs, threatening, "Saki-chan, you'd better take this willingly and play with all of us."
"If you cooperate, we can be gentle with you."
"Otherwise, we'll force-feed you this dr*g, and we won't show you an ounce of mercy. In fact, we might even play you to death."
"So if you want to survive, you'd better listen. Maybe we'll even let you join us in the future."
"After all, you're so pure and beautiful, it'd be a waste if you died."
One of the delinquents, growing impatient, shouted, "Hey, Hayato, stop dawdling!"
"Let's just shove the dr*gs down her throat already. If she won't take them, we'll force her mouth open."
Turning to Yoshida Saki, the delinquent sneered, "Today, we'll make sure you take this dr*g. Then we'll deflower you."
"We'll turn you from a pure virgin into a woman who can't live without our co*ks and dr*gs. Completely transformed."[T/N: I wanted to change this 'Transformed' into 'Metamorphosed' because the doujinshi name is Metamorphosis(Henshin) and it will suit it more. So a heads up]
Hearing their words and watching Hayato and the others close in, Yoshida Saki cowered in fear, trembling.
She was hopeless. Just a high school girl without the strength to resist.
Tears streamed down her cheeks as she thought about the cruel fate awaiting her.
Seeing her tears only made the delinquents more excited.
"Hahaha! Forcing the innocent into depravity-there's no greater pleasure."
"Just wait, Saki-chan. Today, we'll complete your metamorphosis."
As Hayato stared at Yoshida Saki's fair skin and delicate face, he grew even more exhilarated.
But suddenly, a calm voice resonated across the rooftop.
"Yo~ Transformation and all are prohibited here."
The group froze.
Then they all turned toward the source of the voice.
Yoshida Saki and the delinquents alike looked up to see a black-haired boy standing on the highest point of the rooftop, gazing down at them with an expressionless face. [T/N: Batman]
Everyone was stunned.
Standing atop the high platform on the rooftop, looking down at them from above, Hikari's figure made Hayato and his gang of delinquent punks slightly bewildered.
They didn't know Hikari, but all of them instinctively found him incredibly irritating.
Perhaps it was the condescending perspective he adopted, or the gaze he gave them, like one would cast on worthless swine.
Although Hayato and his crew were highly displeased with Hikari and wanted to rush up and beat him senseless, they couldn't help but feel a twinge of unease when locking eyes with his deep, dark pupils.
It was as if some primal fear crept into their hearts—like cattle staring into the eyes of a seasoned butcher.
For a moment, they just stood there, dumbfounded, not daring to charge at him like they usually would.
Meanwhile, Yoshida Saki, who was cornered, looked at Hikari in shock.
"Hikari-kun?"
Yoshida Saki couldn't fathom why Hikari, who sat behind her in class, would suddenly show up here.
'Could it be that Hikari is also one of these guys?'
After all, her initial impression of him was that he might be some kind of frivolous delinquent.
But Yoshida Saki quickly dismissed that possibility.
She saw Hikari leap down from the high platform and slowly approach them.
There was a faint smile on his face—not the lecherous grin of Hayato and his crew, but an odd one.
It was a mix of mockery and a hunter's excitement.
He looked at Hayato and his gang as if they were gold nuggets.
Moreover, Hayato and the others' confused expressions made it clear they didn't know Hikari.
'Then why is he here?'
'Could it be… to save me?'
A glimmer of hope suddenly flashed in Yoshida Saki's mind.
But that hope was quickly extinguished.
'Impossible. Hikari is all alone.'
'And Hayato's group not only outnumbers him, but they're armed with knives, clubs, and other weapons.'
'Hikari can't possibly take them on, nor could he have known I was cornered here to save me.'
'Otherwise, he would've called a teacher or the police long ago.'
'He must've just coincidentally passed by the rooftop and happened to see this. Sigh…'
The faint light of hope in Yoshida Saki's heart dimmed once again, and her gaze was filled with despair.
She wanted to shout and tell Hikari to leave quickly.
There were so many of them, and he stood no chance of saving her.
But Yoshida Saki's timid nature wouldn't allow her to cry out.
And perhaps, deep down, there was still a sliver of unrealistic hope.
Watching Hikari jump down from the platform and walk toward them, the delinquents frowned. Hayato thought for a moment and then spoke to him.
"Who the hell are you? Yoshida Saki called you 'Hikari-kun'. Are you her classmate? Were you the one who said, 'No transforming' just now?"
Hikari continued walking toward them, answering politely, "Who I am doesn't matter. But yes, I said that."
Hayato squinted. "Hikari-kun, huh? What are you trying to do? Judging by your attitude, are you trying to play the classic hero saving the damsel in distress?"
Hikari chuckled. "Yep, you caught me. Yoshida Saki is my classmate. We get along pretty well."
"Listening to the things you were saying about defiling her made me a bit angry."
Hearing this, Hayato relaxed.
Initially, he couldn't gauge Hikari's intentions. Given his composed demeanor and refined aura, the gang felt slightly intimidated. They even feared Lei might have already called the police or reported them to a teacher.
But after hearing his words, Hayato labeled him as nothing more than a naive hot-headed high schooler who'd seen too many movies and thought he could play the hero with his MC complex.
As Hikari approached, Hayato couldn't help but smirk. "So, you're saying you really intend to go against us and take Yoshida Saki away from us?"
"You're all alone, and you think you can fight us? Hero saving the damsel in distress? I say crap... Today's your funeral!"
Hayato's words emboldened the gang. Their hesitation turned to cocky smiles, and a few who held iron rods began circling Hikari.
Seeing how advantageous their situation was, Hayato stopped them with a grin. "Hold up, guys. Let me say something first."
Hayato then turned to Hikari and smiled, "Bro, you've got such a handsome face. It'd be a shame to ruin it."
"Also, facing so many of us without flinching shows you've got guts. Respect."
"With that face of yours, you could help us attract plenty of women."
"So honestly, I'm reluctant to hurt you."
"How about this? Join our crew. We've got all kinds of stuff to make you feel like you're in heaven—dr*gs, women, you name it."
"If you join us, we won't hurt you. Heck, you can have this cute girl Yoshida Saki after me."
"Of course, I get to go first. But after that, you can have a turn."
"Once the guys are done, you can have her as much as you want. How about it?"
Perhaps Hikari's calm demeanor impressed Hayato, who now extended a "generous" offer to recruit him.
The gang didn't mind either. They figured Hikari's good looks could help attract more girls for their exploits.
Although Yoshida Saki was undoubtedly a beauty, they prioritized the long-term gains of more women over a one-time conquest.
Hearing this, Yoshida Saki began trembling in despair.
'No way…'
'Hikari won't agree, will he?'
Would the man to defile her include Hikari as well?
Though Hikari's good looks made the prospect ambiguous, she didn't want to be violated under such circumstances.
But if Hikari refused, he would undoubtedly face a brutal beating, possibly crippling him.
Yoshida Saki, caught between despair and concern for Hikari, looked at him with complicated emotions.
Hikari, meanwhile, burst into laughter at Hayato's so called offer.
"You guys actually have brains, huh? Even now, you're not completely thinking with your lower halves and are trying to recruit new members. Impressive."
Hikari gave Hayato a thumbs-up, and Hayato responded with a proud smirk.
However, Hikari shook his head and continued, "Your offer is indeed 'generous,' and I'm touched. But…"
"I refuse."
