Chapter 62: Chapter 62: Trapped
Hikari nodded and agreed, "Alright."
At this moment, Miwa Shirakawa suddenly smiled and said, "Hey, Hikari-kum, how about I treat you to some seafood someday?"
"Poof!"
Hikari suddenly bit into his takoyaki too hard, causing the sauce inside to spurt out.
Miwa Shirakawa, puzzled by Hikari's overly exaggerated reaction, asked, "What's wrong? You don't want me to treat you?"
Hikari shook his head, then nodded.
"Fifty-fifty."
'Seafood? I can eat it.'
After all, it's nutritious and juicy.
But seafood isn't something you can eat too much of.
Even the rarest double-headed abalone can't be consumed daily or for every meal.
That stuff is just too cold and yin by nature. Eating too much of it definitely isn't healthy.
If one were to continue eating like that, sooner or later, there'd be trouble.
However, everything has its exceptions.
Hikari thought that as long as he kept leveling up, grew stronger, and could punch Yujiro Hanma and kick the Homelander…
Then maybe he could try eating a few more double-headed abalones at once.
Seeing Hikari seriously considering, Miwa Shirakawa burst out laughing, her excessively ample chest bouncing along with her laughter. "Hahaha! I was kidding, Hikari. Did you really think I'd treat you to seafood?"
"With a teacher's salary, I couldn't afford to treat you to seafood."
Seeing Miwa Shirakawa's immediate mockery, Hikari was speechless.
So, she was just joking?
And he actually thought about it for a moment.
Hikari said helplessly, "Fine, next time I have some free time, I'll treat you to seafood. Happy now?"
Miwa Shirakawa's eyes lit up, and she nodded repeatedly. "Sure, sure!"
Hikari's lips moved slightly, but he didn't say the next sentence.
The seafood I'd like to treat you to is geoduck. [T/N: Lol, I just searched it up, Author is a genius at using double-meaning.]
After a bit more playful banter, they finished the takoyaki.
Hikari left the office, carrying a cup of second-hand tea that he had poured from Miwa Shirakawa's cup, still faintly tasting of her.
Hikari entered the restroom.
After relieving himself and securing something large around his waist…
Hikari washed his face at the sink.
He picked up the teacup, gazing at his reflection in the mirror, feeling that something about his appearance seemed off.
"Why do I feel like I've got dark circles? And there's bloodshot veins in my eyes—something I've never had before..."
"Must be the result of indulging too much in pleasure and entertainment these past few days."
Hikari raised his teacup slightly and pondered, "To think I've been so drained by indulgence... I've become so haggard."
"From today onward... no more drinking!"
He slammed the paper cup to the ground with unnecessary force and walked out of the bathroom with an air of righteousness.
After leaving the bathroom, Hikari prepared to go upstairs and return to his classroom.
But as he climbed the stairs, something unexpected happened ahead of him.
Walking in front of him was a blonde girl in a JK skirt. The skirt was very short, barely covering the tops of her thighs.
At that moment, a sudden breeze swept through.
The JK girl ahead of him quickly held down her skirt, but given how short it was, she still flashed.
"Pink."
Hikari casually glanced and remained expressionless.
However, at that instant, a blonde guy suddenly appeared beside him.
The blonde guy slung an arm around Hikari's shoulder and asked, "Hey, kid, what do you think of the beauty up there? Isn't she stunning? Sexy underwear, right?"
Hikari smacked the guy's hand off his shoulder and coldly replied, "I didn't see anything. Keep your hands to yourself."
"Oh? Got some attitude, huh?"
Just as Hikari finished speaking, another blonde guy appeared and flanked him on the other side.
One on the left and one on the right, the two blondes cornered Hikari. It was a menacing sandwich of sorts.
The blonde on the right spoke in a threatening tone, "Hey, from that angle, you must've seen it clearly, right? That's my sister, you know. You peeked at my sister's underwear."
"What do you want?" Hikari asked indifferently, trying to figure out what game they were playing.
The two blondes thought he was chickening out and laughed as they threatened, "You wouldn't want anyone else to know about this, right?"
Hikari hesitated for a moment, pretending to be scared, and nodded, "Yeah, I wouldn't."
The blonde smirked, "Then come with us to the rooftop, and we can talk this out properly."
Hikari said "Fine." in agreement,
Suddenly, he recalled who these two guys were.
These blondes were infamous for extorting and beating up students. They were even involved in an attempted sexual assault and were rumored to force addictive dru*s on classmates, ruining their lives and families.
The girl was no better.
She was known for leading a gang of delinquent girls that bullied innocent schoolgirls. It was said that she would lock some of them in dark rooms and invite people from outside the school to assault them.
After being expelled, this blonde girl started hanging out with street thugs.
These blondes got their illegal dru*s from her.
When Hikari agreed to go to the rooftop, the girl, still fishing in her ultra-short skirt, swayed her hips as she descended the stairs.
Her exaggerated movements might have been somewhat appealing, but her lackluster face and poor figure were a complete turnoff.
Hikari didn't even bother to glance at her.
But the blonde girl's eyes lit up when she saw him. "Oh, what a handsome guy."
"Wow, I like your type. Be my boyfriend, handsome!"
The girl, whose face was sallow and skeletal due to long-term drug use, disgusted Hikari to the point where he didn't feel like responding. He remained silent.
Her enthusiasm waned, but she quickly pulled out several pink pills with a grin. "I just love cold, handsome guys like you."
"Come on, let's go up. I'll feed you one of these later. After you take it, you won't be able to keep up that icy demeanor."
"By then, we'll ascend to paradise together."
And so, Hikari followed the two delinquent blondes and the drug-addicted girl to the rooftop.
Five minutes later.
On the rooftop, Hikari stood tall on the highest point, his clothes flapping in the fierce wind.
Nearby, two battered blondes lay on the ground, barely alive.
Their lower bodies were soaked in bloody filth, their chests caved in, and blood oozed from every orifice. They were in a miserable state.
The blonde girl, who had earlier talked about "paradise," was now under Hikari's foot, her face pressed against the ground. Her condition wasn't much better than the other two-barely breathing.
At that moment, a voice reached Hikari's ears.
"Hey! What are you people planning to do to me?"
Hikari looked up and saw a pure and beautiful girl with long black hair about ten meters away. She was being cornered by five or six delinquent blondes.
The girl had been forced to the edge of the rooftop, where only a wire fence separated her from the ten-story drop.
In front of her were the delinquents, smirking maliciously.
The girl, Yoshida Saki, shouted at one of them, Hayato, someone she had recently befriended. "Hey, Hayato! You said you were my friend and just wanted to show me the view. What's this all about?"
Hayato burst into laughter. "Friend? You actually believed that crap?"
"I could tell at a glance you're an innocent little thing-clueless and naive."
"Never had friends before, have you? Never had a boyfriend, either. I could see you were starving for love and attention. Sure enough, you fell for our lines, hook and sinker."
"Haha! You're too easy."
Hayato held a small pink pill between his thumb and index finger, flashing a predatory smile at Yoshida Saki. "Come on, little Saki," he said, his tone mockingly gentle. "Take this pill. I promise you'll feel amazing. The joy you'll experience will leave you utterly intoxicated."
His voice grew darker as he leaned in closer. "After taking it, you'll lose consciousness, but your mind will be ecstatic, and your body... oh, so sensitive."
"You'll become a complete plaything—begging us, pleading for us to violate you, craving it like the insatiable little slut you'll become."
"And then..." His grin widened, baring his teeth. "You'll experience true ecstasy. The pinnacle of human bliss. It's that simple. Understand?"
Each vile word hit Yoshida Saki like a hammer, her face turning paler with every syllable. By the time he finished, she looked like a lifeless porcelain doll—her complexion as white as paper.
This wasn't just a threat. It was a promise. These monsters weren't content with drugging her—they planned to pass her around, defiling her over and over again.
The sheer malice in the air was suffocating.
Yoshida's small frame quivered as she huddled against the chain-link fence, trapped between a deadly fall and the five or six leering men before her. She couldn't even begin to fathom the horrors they intended to inflict on her. She was only a teenage girl. How could she possibly endure this?
One of the men, a lanky thug with dyed blonde hair, clicked his tongue impatiently. "Hey! What's taking those two, and their trashy sister so long? If they don't show up soon, we'll be done before it's even their turn."
Hayato chuckled darkly. "If they're too lazy to show, then so be it. Who needs them? Their sister is leagues below little Saki here. Honestly, she doesn't even compare, right, Saki?"
He turned his twisted grin back to Yoshida Saki, as though waiting for her agreement.
But Saki said nothing. She couldn't even look at him. Instead, her gaze darted toward another figure nearby—Yui, Hayato's girlfriend.
Desperate, her trembling voice cracked as she pleaded, "Yui... why? Why would you help them deceive me? Why did you trick me into coming here?"
Yui's expression remained blank, her dull eyes betraying no emotion as she replied. "Because I was just like you," she said, her voice hollow. "They drugged me first, too. They used me, ruined me, and left me with no choice."
Her lips twitched into a faint, bitter smile. "Now, I can't live without the dru*s. They give me what I need, and I help them with what they want. It's a fair trade."
Yui's tone turned colder, more detached, as though she were reciting an unfeeling truth. "Lying to you? It's for your own good. At least this way, you'll join our 'family' sooner. If not, with that naive little brain of yours, someone else would've tricked you eventually. And trust me, it would've been worse."
