I'm Inside Naruto Manga

Chapter 167: Chapter 167 Intrusion

When Logan sensed that the entire exhibition area had fallen silent, he knew something was amiss.

He was the first to break out of the overlapping realities. Sure enough, after a quick glance, he saw the fans all looked stunned, as if they had witnessed something extraordinary.

Logan understood the problem. Walking around the convention unmasked was fine, but the moment he put on the mask, his aura, which couldn't be imitated or faked, made the audience begin to doubt life.

'It's not a good idea to go on like this.' Even if Logan is sure that his disguise is perfect, he doesn't want to want to get caught up in any attention. If he accidentally becomes an Internet celebrity with his real face, he is guaranteed to be in a lot of trouble.

"Hey, host, am I done here?" Logan quickly removed the mask and walked over to the host, ready to run away.

Aside from a few murmurs and the background music, the exhibition area was quiet. When Logan took off his mask, it was as if he had lifted the veil of an illusory dream, and people gradually came back to their senses.

"Ah, yes, you're done..." The host, still in shock from Logan's 'perfect' cosplay, replied instinctively.

The audience, gathered in a semi-circle, began to murmur and gasp, the noise quickly growing.

The host realized it might not be wise to let this lottery winner go so easily. He turned to call for him, but found the strange young man had already vanished.

"This…"

Logan smartly darted offstage. On one side of the stage, there were fewer people. Taking advantage of the few who noticed him, he slipped into the crowd, where he saw a few tables set up.

The tables were lined with high-quality posters, figurines, and signed manga volumes. This was the prizes originally prepared for the on-site event. Logan saw his own 'merchandise', blinked, and headed over.

"Um, I'm the lucky spectator. It's you who pulled me up. You know that, right?" Logan casually said to the staff member who had brought him up. His hands were already touching the merchandises.

"Oh, yes, yes." The staff were also shocked by Logan's 'cosplay'. At this time, looking at Logan, who had taken off his mask, he was still a little dazed. The collapse of fiction into reality left him bewildered, 'Was Hattori supposed to look like this? Or was this just how he looked?' The staff member was trapped in a dilemma between two dimensions.

Logan grabbed a bag and started stuffing his own figurines, posters and the like into it. This was an official product, so it was very valuable and meaningful to him. Once he secured everything, he slipped away before the staff member could even think to tell him he might have taken too much.

A strange sense of déjà vu spread among the thousand fans present. This is a very magical phenomenon. The collective resonance excited them, with some shouting that the real Hattori might have crossed over to this world. Others also quickly took their phones to take pictures, but by the time they raised their phones, Logan had already vanished from the stage.

Ultimately, people would attribute the surreal scene to a 'god-tier cosplay'. Amid the growing excitement, Logan had already pulled David and the others to the outskirts.

"Are these Naruto's fans sick? They have been shouting non-stop. It's ridiculous..."

A few meters away were passers-by going to and from various booths. An Otaku listened to the calls inside and said disdainfully.

"Yeah, yeah, just because it's getting animated, they're parading around online every day. This garbage can't compare to One Piece or Bleach. Talk to me when its sales hit their numbers." The Otaku's companion agreed, and the two strutted away arrogantly.

"Logan, come on, let me see!" David grabbed Logan's shirt and held his face in his hands without any explanation.

Logan couldn't resist. He was still worried about how David and the others might react.

"There's nothing special about it. Still not as manly as I am." David stared into Logan's eyes for a few seconds, frowning before pushing him away with a feigned look of distaste, "Weird... why does it feel different?"

Seeing this, Logan's lips twitched, 'It seemed that my worries are unnecessary.'

After some banter with David and some fibbing to the curious members of the fan group, who now seemed to see him in a new light, the event at the Naruto booth continued as usual. The host was left to handle the excited fans alone, and the event staff managed to keep things on track. The disturbance appeared to settle down, and Logan breathed a sigh of relief.

Toward the end, two Japanese representatives took the stage, completely shifting the audience's attention. They expressed their support and expectations for the collaboration with the US company and, after announcing a surprise project, left the stage. A few minutes later, a group of people exited the resting area, accompanied by some staff, and left the exhibition.

Logan continued to wander around with David and the others for a while. Midway, he feigned feeling unwell and slipped out, tailing the important group.

The US and Japanese people mixed together and left the Manga Convention. It seemed that they were preparing to hold a banquet. Logan discreetly followed them until he confirmed the hotel where the animation and manga company representatives were staying before returning to David and the others.

As night fell, the exhausted members of the Fresno Fan Club were once again unable to resist the lure of soft beds. Having seen everything they wanted and bought what they needed, they decided to explore Los Angeles the next day. Logan watched David sprawled on the bed, found an excuse to go for a walk, and left the hotel, heading in a specific direction.

In Shanghai, gatherings of ACGN enthusiasts were a brief phenomenon confined to a part of the city. Los Angeles, with its grandeur and modern era, forged ahead, its deep night never fully darkening, hidden in the neon-lit streets and countless streetlights.

Unlike the pseudo-hotel where the young members of the Fresno Fan Club were staying, a tall building stood among the high-rises along city's center. In a luxurious guest room at the Crowne Plaza, the sound of running water echoed from the pristine bathroom.

Summer slowly removed her elaborate cosplay accessories, leaving her in minimal clothing. She touched the immaculate white bedspread, the opulent chandelier, the mahogany furniture, and the soft carpet, 'How much would it cost to stay here for just one night?'

With the sound of running water, Summer glanced at the bathroom, larger than her dorm room, with luxurious tiles and a semi-transparent frosted glass wall.

Inside, the Japanese man named Shimada was taking a shower. She struggled to keep her gaze on his terrible physique reflected through the glass for the third time.

"Natsuko, I'm done, I'm fine, you can go in now." Shimada's broken English startled Summer. She quickly stood up, grabbed the oversized bathrobe, and bit her lip. (Note: Summer can means Natsuko in Japanese.)

"Okay."

Shimada watched with satisfaction as Summer, dressed only in her underwear, walked into the bathroom, still somewhat reserved, 'This was something Yamamoto-san wouldn't have to worry about, right?'

At the other end of the room, furnished with various pieces, the unique design of the balcony highlighted the contrast between the bustling city and the tranquil night, offering a beautiful view from the 80th floor.

Suddenly, the tranquility of the high-altitude room was broken. A figure, wrapped in the night wind, slipped inside.
