NOVEL NEXT Chapter 3: Pirate attack
Jason left his room and saw a giant pirate ship, their jolly roger was the usual white skull mark with two muscular arms attached to the skull. Jason quickly ran through the warship and saw Tashigi helping other marines. "Tashigi what's going on!?" Jason quickly asked Tashigi
"Lieutenant Jason!" Tashigi spoke surprised. "Sir we're being attacked by the Strong Arm pirates under, Steel Hand Yuumo. He has a bounty of 24 million" Jason looked towards the pirate ship
"Where's Captain Smoker?" Jason asked as he cut down a pirate who sneaked on to the ship
"Captain Smoker is currently handling the Pain pirates" Tashigi spoke "We believe that the Strong Arm pirates and the Pain pirates were planning on an alliance to enter the Grand Line"
"So Smoker's not here?" Jason clicked his tongue. "Tashigi, take few soldi-" as Jason was about send out a order he was interrupted by the pirate ship crashing to the warship. "Protect the ship! I'll handle this!" Jason shouted as he ran towards the pirate ship before Tashigi could reply.
Jason reaching the end of the warship quickly jumped onto the pirate ship. "Huh? Who ar-" a pirate spotting Jason was punched away before he could speak.
"Intruder!"
"It's a marine, get him!"
Several pirates seeing their comrade being sent flying rushed towards Jason. Jason seeing this didn't back down but rushed towards the hoard of pirates. Jason front flipped towards the group of pirates and punched one of them sending the pirate flying. Jason slowly started to take down the pirates one by one, Jason continued to weave and dodge as if dancing against the pirates.
'The Disturbance style, a special taijutsu that uses move similar to dances to find or create various angles and openings to rapidly strike with precise blows' Jason organized in his mind as his body moved naturally as if he had practiced such fighting style for years.
"Damn it he's too strong!" a pirate shouted as he looked at his fallen comrades as he try to ran. Jason seeing this quickly jumped above and landed a chakra infused drop kick crushing his head. Seeing their comrades head being crushed pirates started to flee.
"What the hell are you guys doing!?" a sudden shout stopped all pirates from their track.
"Vice Captain!" the pirates exclaimed. "We're saved Vice Captain Wu has a bounty of 15 million". The pirates fired up by the arrival of their vice captain cheered. Wu a muscular man in his thirties with tan skin, bald head, and a slash scar on arms stood with a giant mace in his hand

'Strong enough to be worth points but definitely no devil fruit user' Jason thought before charging towards Wu
"Die marine!" Wu raised his mace and swung it towards Jason who agilely dodged the attack and was now close to the Wu
"Lariat!" Jason shouted as he landed a devastating hit on Wu's neck with a chakra covered Lariat. Wu staggered back a few steps holding his neck
"Y-you bastard" Wu spoke in a hoarse voice before coughing a bit of blood.
'Damn it" Jason cursed to himself. 'It seems like I'll have to actually get the skill from the template to use it properly.' Jason without saying anything finished Wu off punching his damaged neck crushing it

Jason ran around the pirate ship searching for Yuumo, beating down all pirates that tried getting in his way. While Jason was running he was suddenly hit by a giant fist and was sent flying to a ship wall. Jason coughed a few times before he looked up to see another man in his thirties, slightly muscular man, with black hair, white skin, and a pair of brass knuckle each on his fist.
"Let me guess you're Steel hand Yuumo?" Jason questioned while standing up looking at the angry expression of the man
"You bastard! How dare you kill so many of my crew!" Yuumo shouted in rage towards Jason

'Another devil fruit user?' Jason pondered for a second before he rushed in throwing a punch. However, when Jason's fist landed a clear Clang~. Jason feeling something strange immediately jumped away and saw his fist bruised
Jason looked towards Yuumo who started cackling. "What do you think?" Yummo asked Jason as he unrolled his sleeves to show his skin covered by iron like texture. "This is the power of my Metal Metal fruit, with this power I can easily crush boulders" spoke mockingly
Jason continued to look at his hand ignoring Yuumo's mocking voice. 'Metal, a Logia? No, I was able to hit him it's just that his skin is too hard.' Yuumo being ignored angrily rushed towards Jason with surprising speed. 'Quite fast, is he controlling the weight of the metal around his body?' Jason dodged to the side and threw three chakra infused punch to Yuumo's side.
"Gah! That stung you bastard!" Yuumo shouted out enraged, and stretched out his hand. "Heavens Drill: Bullet!" From the tip of Yuumo's 10 fingers drill shaped bullet shot out flying
Jason surprised was a step too late and was hit by 6 drills on his left shoulder and arm. "Argh!" Jason shouted in pain and covered left shoulder before he checked to see 6 holes with blood dripping out of it. Jason started spreading chakra around his body doing his best to lessen the pain while glaring at Yuumo. 'I can tell he isn't exactly stronger then Kai, but he's clever. Disturbance style and Acrobat won't work I'll have to rely on Demon-Slasher again.' Jason sighed as he brought out Demon-Slasher from his item space. 'I really need to learn haki soon'
Jason unsheathing Demon-Slasher dashed towards Yuumo who also dashed towards Jason his hand spinning like a drill. The two attack clashed, "You know with how much you seem to love drills you should've been called Drill Hand instead of Steel Hand!" Jason commented as he pushed Yuumo away before quickly slashing at Yuumo's stomach.
Yuumo arrogantly stood still just to receive a devastating slash to his stomach as he kneeled holding his stomach. "H-how?" Yuumo stared at his hand now covered in blood and few small pieces of flesh from his stomach before he looked up "Seastone?" Yuumo questioned seeming to realize
"Bingo" Jason lied to Yuumo, as the man fell for the lie gritting his teeth.
"Don't think you've won yet!" Yuumo shouted running at Jason with his hands turning into blades. "Demonic Shadow Saber!" Yuumo's blade hand and Demon-Slasher started to clash as neither side were about to back down.
"Demonic Shadow Saber? You're exaggerating" Jason mocked enraging Yuumo even further
"Shut it!" Yuumo added more strength to his arm but couldn't seem to push back Jason
The two continued to try pushing each other with either side succeeding, but they were suddenly interrupted by a sword hitting the back of Yuumo's head, but when the sword met Yuumo's head it shattered
"Tashigi?" Jason spoke as he saw the glass wearing marine who he ordered to stay on the ship here trying to sneak attack on a pirate captain. Yuumo angered by the sudden sneak attack backed down from Jason and rushed towards Tashigi and held her by the neck
"Are you marine's mocking me!? You guys dare to send such weak women to fight?" Yuumo shouted as he tightened his grip on Tashigi's neck
'Damn it, I told her to protect the ship.' Jason hesitated, worried about Tashigi's death. Yuumo seeing this smirked
"Alright then this is how it's gonna work you put that sword down and do as I say if you do I'll let this little girl live." Yuumo said trying to strike a deal
"No, Lieutenant-"
"Shut it" Tashigi who tried to speak was hit in the neck by Yuumo, knocking her out
As Jason was deciding what to do a screen popped up in his eyes

Jason seeing this intently looked at Yuumo and sheathed his blade and placed it on the floor as Yuumo grinned. "Good, now what should I make you do?" Yuumo was lost in thought of how he should play around with the Marine infront of him.
Jason noticing this placed his hand behind his back and started going through hand seals
Snake-> Ram->Horse->Rabbit
Half way through the hand seals Jason started rushing towards Yuumo

"Water Style: Water Prison Jutsu!" Jason quickly pulled out Tashigi from Yuumo and reached his other hand towards Yuumo causing near by seawater to rise and lock Yuumo in a sphere made of Sea water.

Yuumo finally realizing what has happened started banging on the solid water sphere. Desperately. Jason watched from afar Yuumo slowly starting to loose strength and life by the sea water.

Jason sighed tired from the prolonged battle and released the jutsu. 'I should practice more to lessen the amount of hand signs needed.' Jason holding Tashigi began his way to the warship leaving the now cold body of the dead Yuumo behind.
Several marines from the warship seeing Tashigi unconcious gathered worried for their superior. "Sir, will Chief Petty Officer be fine?" a marine asked clearly worried
"Don't worry she's just unconscious, send her to a infirmary and let her rest." Jason replied as he handed Tashigi to another marine who quickly followed Jason's order. "Any words from Captain Smoker?" Jason asked.
"Yes, few minutes ago Captain Smoker has called saying that he will be arriving soon" a marine replied "Good, once Chief Petty Officer is awake, tell me I need to have a word with her." Without waiting for a response Jason entered his room and laid on his bed and sighed. "This is so tiresome, not even in the Grand Line and pirates are already gathering together. Even though I'm quite sure they wouldn't have lasted long but still troublesome". Jason closed his eyes to hopefully get a proper rest this time and slowly fell asleep.
"Sir? Are you awake?" Jason groggily woke up hearing the voice from outside and opened the door to face a marine
"What is it?" Jason asked yawning still not fully awake
"I've come here to inform you that we have successfully entered the Grand Line and that Chief Petty Officer is awake. Also Captain Smoker has returned to the ship and asks to meet you later on." The Marine spoke calmly
"Alright thanks for informing me you may leave." Jason spoke before closing the door. Jason slowly sat on his bed and started fixing his hair as he suddenly remembered something. 'Oh yeah the template, I haven't checked the reward for reaching 60% yet. Meh let's do it Later' Jason continued to try fixing his hair to continue failing. 'Hopefully the next Template reawrd is Lariat. It's one of Killer Bee's best moves'
Jason finally fixing his hair left his room and headed towards the infirmary where he saw Tashigi sitting down. "You're awake I see" Jason spoke making his presence known
"Lieutenant Jason!" Tashigi spoke up surprised as Jason sat on a chair next to her infirmary bed
"What you did was incredibly rash and dangerous." Jason started off as Tashigi lowered her head "You went against my order and almost put people into danger." Jason noticed Tashigi's body tremble, "But, I'll let this go this once. I can tell you had good intentions but you have to learn what battles you can fight or not." Tashigi continued to look down unable to respond to Jason.
"Here, I noticed you broke your blade was destroyed. Keep working hard Chief Petty Officer." Jason left Raikiri on a table next to her, the sword had a blackish-blue color, with it's sheath was blue with yellow lightning like marks all across it. Jason leaving the infirmary heard from outside the cries of Tashigi. 'Even though I don't believe she can achieve her dream, she has a good heart. Get stronger Tashigi' Jason thought to himself but was then surprised as a screen popper up infront of him

'Seriously? A hidden quest?' Jason thought to himself surprised but quickly hid it as currently he was standing infront of Smoker's office room. Jason took a deep breathe before knocking on the door.
"Who is it?" Smoker spoke from inside
"Lieutenant Jason, I heard that you've called for me sir" Jason replied
"Come in" Jason following Smokers words entered the office and saluted to Smoker in the room. "So I heard you took down most of The Strong Arm Pirates alone," Smoker spoke as his eyes were still on his paperwork.
"Yes sir, I've lead the charge as you were not present at the moment" Jason replied without panicking
"Hmm, good job you've handled the pirates well and head quarters has decided to promote you up by two ranks. Hello Commander Jason." Smoker spoke smiling
Jason didn't reply no, more exactly he didn't know how to reply. He has been a Liutenant for 2 years without any improvement as a transmigrator but now, he suddenly became a powerful Commander. "T-Thank you Captain Smoker!" Jason spoke to Smoker
"Don't thank me just continue to do the right thing." Smoker said as his face started to become serious. "We're about to land on Short Land Island, we will separate from there, I just wanted to warn you pirates from the Grand Line are a lot stronger than those from the Blue's. Are you ready?" Smoker questioned Jason who smiled back
"More than ever sir." Jason replied confidently
