The day was off to such a good start. Pepper and I were going on a cruise. She'd been free of all the bureaucratic horror of the trade show for a week now. Now Stark Industries is back in the lead. And he had to screw it up. Now I have to send her off alone. That's what I had in mind.

-Jarvis let Pep know I won't be able to keep her company tomorrow. -Said Stark dejectedly. - Said Stark in a depressed voice.

-"Aye, sir. - Replied his AI.

-"Well, let's get this big guy done. - Grinning at how perfect the name was, Tony headed downstairs to the workshop.

-Sir Miss Potts replied that if you've traded her for your suits again, the controlling interest in the company will be put up for half price on Wall Street as early as tomorrow. - Jarvis informed his creator of his sad future.

-Jarvis, make a note. If nothing happens in the next two weeks, the kid's suit will be used for spare parts. - Stark said angrily.

-Written down, sir.

I was aware of his connection to the Shield, of course, but talking to Fury that day did nothing. Rather, it created more questions. Cyclops had been trying to find out what we'd discussed after the party. So I assumed he was protected by the Shield because of a relative. After checking his tree, I only learnt about his father. Alexander Pierce. A politician with a lot of connections. That's all I could find out. Unfortunately, all the remaining information was protected by the Shield. And there was no way to get to it without being seen. Unless they let me into their servers. But that's a bit of a fantasy.

After a few days of painstaking labour.

Okay, I think we're good to go.

-Jarvis, run a systems diagnostic. -Yeah. - Stark ordered the AI.

-The suit is fully functional and ready for use. - Tony's assistant gave his assessment.

-Now rest. In the meantime, you get my suit ready. - Said Tony as he went to his room.

Twelve hours later.

-If it's nothing, you might as well be ready to be the toaster's AI. - Threatened a half-asleep Stark to his creation.-Sir, Mr Pearce called with the coordinates of the attack site. - Jarvis alerted his creator.

-Okay, I'm up. Who's brave enough to make trouble on my doorstep? - Asked Tony weaving into the workshop for armour.

-According to camera footage and videos posted on the internet. It's the Hulk and another unidentified creature as strong as he is. - Dropped a bomb on its rogue AI creator.

Spitting out his coffee and tossing the cup away Tony headed downstairs with unprecedented speed.

-And you didn't say anything?! Quickly send the kid the armour and prepare the last mark! - Stark scattered orders as he ran up to the armour.

-Sir, Mr Pierce picked up the big guy two hours ago. -Sir. - Stark's AI informed him.

-"Why didn't you tell me? - Tony asked, almost putting on his new armour.

-You gave some pretty precise orders, sir. "Don't wake me unless there's a threat of destruction to New York or Pep's life." - Played back a recording of the AI's orders.

-"Okay, that's where I went wrong. - Stark was honest.

-"Put the camera footage on the screen. - Said Tony, flying towards Queens.

Seeing the footage of two green thugs tearing up the streets and using cars as bats Tony doubted his creation for the first time. Would his armour be able to stand up to these monsters?

Flying up to the battle site he caught a rather unrealistic scene. Raine stood in the path of the unknown giant and prepared to take its blow. This armour was certainly his most powerful creation in terms of physical might at the moment. But it definitely couldn't compare to this creature's strike just yet. The seconds dragged on for an agonisingly long time. Tony realised that the kid was about to lose his arm and had to be saved. But he was traitorously far away to influence the outcome of the fight.

Preparing for the worst, he saw the giant's fist shift sideways and pass over his armour. Without realising how that had happened he noticed that one of the creature's legs had been sunk half a metre into the tarmac. Stark's musings on what could have melted him were interrupted by a rather comical sight. Rain, who was just above the creature's waist in his armour, took advantage of his confusion and struck a blow directly at the creature's face. Punching one of the mutant's eyes with a fragmented blade.

20 minutes before.

As I made my way across the rooftops to where the military was stationed I was shocked at their arrogance. There were only three jeeps parked at the entrance to the building. And that's in the supposed location of the Hulk. I'm not even talking about their operation to capture him. Inside the city to send soldiers to capture a creature equal in destructive power to a couple of dozen missile strikes. I, of course, did not communicate with Ross in the joint mission, but then he did not seem to me a moral freak ready to spit on the lives of civilians. Because at this point, there are only two scenarios. One, he relied on Bruce's love for his daughter. And the second is he's taking a chance.

If the Hulk had shown up, he would have been able to open fire and incite his rage. Which would have contributed to a lot of destruction and death. And that could have shown the government the full threat of the Hulk and knocked him out of funding. The known downside of the second plan is the possible death of his daughter. And the unknown Fury with a long-awaited report on all of Ross's joints.

But we'll discuss his moral code later. After sneaking through the roof into the building, I began to approach the lab of our megabrain. I walked through a blown-out door and into his lab. There were blackboards everywhere with calculations I didn't understand. And at the far end of his flat, I heard a strange noise. I had to hide behind a nearby pillar to avoid detection. Still, this suit has not a small weight, and the wooden floor does not act as a shock absorber very well.

The noise increased and began to grow into a roar. Then I heard the sound of a blow as the Abomination broke through the wall. After that, military shouts and the sound of gunfire came from the street. Realising that Fiona had gone to find her Shrek I was finally able to get to the modification site. The room greeted me with a pile of devices and a place where a few moments ago there was an operating table. In the corner of the room lay a scientist whose head was getting bigger every second. It felt like it was being inflated like a balloon. Distracted from the dumb smiles being thrown towards the hole in the wall, he shifted his gaze to me.

-K...who are you? - The Thinker asked me.

-Nothing personal. - I said, and then I shot him in the forehead with the pistol I had picked up from the military gun in the main hall.

Then I opened my rucksack and took out a bomb with a 10 minute timer. Then I went to collect his developments. First, I poured the serum that made Abomination and Thinker appear. Then I remembered his room with Bruce's blood. After a bit of poking around, I finally found such an interesting place. Once in this vault, I felt like a ten year old in the toy section. So many cool coloured things and I wanted to take them all. But my rucksack is not rubber, so I took a few portions of Hulk cocktail and a couple of other unknown to me bags. As I walked away, I wondered what would happen if some vampire drank it all.

As I passed his body again, I decided to be safe. After all, this is Marvel, and it's very hard to die permanently. So I put a pin through his head with one of the beams I'd ripped out of one of the beams. It's a kind of kebab. Then I threw it on my shoulder and carried it to the stairwell. When she wakes up, she'll blame the shit on the Abomination. And the bomb would be counted as part of his plan.

I tossed my backpack into one of the abandoned pigeonholes and headed towards the explosions caused by the green mutant.

A military jeep stopped at an intersection two hundred metres from the creature thought to be the Hulk. In the back of it stood two soldiers who had been ordered to keep an eye on the hideous creature. But seeing how every second the creature was killing several people one of the soldiers lost his nerve, and he aimed his gun at the mutant. His colleague intercepted the gun and swung it away from the creature.

-Sergeant?! - said the guy with undisguised rage in his eyes.

-You want to shoot bullets at it? - He asked the kid, pointing to a container behind them.

Taking out a new rocket launcher, they pointed it at the mutant and fired. The missile went on its way and the moment it was no more than one metre away from hitting the Abomination, he turned around and caught it with his hand. The soldiers were still not desperate as they knew that this model had a timer to activate the charge.

After three seconds, the missile detonated. But the creature didn't even pay attention to it. Its face didn't even show a drop of suffering. On the contrary, the creature smiled at the attackers and with a chuckle headed in their direction, destroying all obstacles in its path.

The military squeezed everything out of the engine's speed, but they could not escape the monster's retaliation. Slamming into a cluster of cars, they watched as death approached them. When it reached its victims, it grabbed the taxis passing nearby and smiled maliciously at the would-be corpses.

-Let's have a fight. - Said the creature, then swung its new weapon with all its might.

Watching the yellow piece of metal descend on them, the soldiers felt boundless despair. The creature enjoyed watching its victims lose the will to fight and their faces covered with grimaces of horror. And now the long-awaited moment should come, and her ears should savour the beautiful sound of broken bones. But something went wrong. Someone started pulling the taxi backwards. The creature turned round to see a teenager in a strange red and blue leotard.

-Hey, big guy, pick an opponent of your own level. -Said the diminutive creature. - Said the diminutive creature.

Taking advantage of the monster's weakened grip, Spider-Man pulled the car to his side and helped the driver out of it.

-Fun. You'll be my new prey. - Said the creature giving the teenager a smile that would haunt his nightmares for a long time to come.
